Do you know the feeling where you remember a certain sentence but have no idea how to adjust it to fit the current conversation? That's why these sentence builders exist! Read ahead to learn how to get more out of less~

Original sentence: 이 중에서 아무거나 골라도 돼요? = Among these, can I pick just any?

1. 이 중에서 = among these 저 중에서 = among those (over there) 이 사람들 중에서 = among these people 이 책들 중에서 = among these books 친구들 중에서 = among my friends

🌸에서/까지 and 부터/까지 🌸

One of the first things you’ll run into when learning Korean is how to say “from ___ to ___.” The good news? It’s not too complicated; you just need to know whether you’re talking about place or time.

📍 에서 → 까지 = from (a place) → to (a place) ⏰ 부터 → 까지 = from (a time) → until (a time)

When you’re describing a location or distance, use 에서/까지.

When you’re describing a time frame or duration, use 부터/까지.

Don’t worry if you mix them up sometimes — even native speakers occasionally swap them in casual speech. But for clear, natural Korean, keep this place vs. time distinction in mind!
