Seriously, though, the French LOVED Edgar Allan Poe, thanks in particular to Jules Verne.

He even wrote a sequel to Poe’s only novel, and numerous essays about how great an author Poe was.

By all accounts, Poe (who lived a penniless life in the US) really *was* baffled by all of this.

It really took me awhile huh.

This is an illustration for a lovely story by @stardust_and_blades on instagram.

If you haven't read it yet go and do it, it's great! And I'm really happy I could do it 😊.

Since I last posted I moved cities, changed my job and overall was totally unable to draw. Add constant tiredness to the mix. And I SO wanted to draw klance dang it! I want to draw my kl comic so much... I still have story to tell. And if I'll be able to I'd love to draw some more illustrations for the deamon au by Shania, we'll see how it goes. Work is really time consuming thing.

Hi! This is LWG (Looking without glasses) my Klance comic that I started in may last year. In the beggining it was a challenge for me to draw on my phone. But it wasn’t very comfortable so I droped the idea after a while. The story however stayed. And I’m determined to tell it all. Since I switched to drawing on a wacom tablet and since my art style change DRASTICALLY I decided to redo older pages. As a result I also decided to publish them on Twitter which initially wasn’t my intention. If you’re interested of how much my drawing skills developed here is a link to older pages on IG. You can also find the current state of events there :) the story is progressing slowly.

As for LWG as it is: right now I’m redrawing older pages simultaneously working on progressing the story.

I don’t have a schedule for posting. I have a lot of responsibilities irl so I draw when I can but I’ll conclude this story someday.

LWG is faaar from over!

There will be themes such as bullying, low self-esteam and phobias but I’ll keep it mostly light-hearted I promise.

And yeah. Klance IS the endgame.

On twitter I’m seeing dozens of threads from Black activists warning people against burnout, giving all sorts of useful tips about preventing and managing it for the sake of a long-term, sustainable effort.

On tumblr I’m seeing a hell of a lot of young white kids yelling at anyone who actually follows those steps, and acting like burnout is a moral falling rather than a well-proven psychological phenomenon.

Be careful who you get your information from. Don’t let guilt lead you to make choices that will harm both you and the movement.
