She suspected nothing from the man in front of her, what reason did she have to suspect? He took her in, fed her, and clothed her! Not to mention he allowed her baby here as well! Her darling little Inosuke!

“Ah! Inosuke and I just missed you is all!”

A small hum leaves his throat at her words, his eyes dropping to the child for a moment then back to her again. What a humorous woman she was; finding comfort in the company of a demon, so terribly similar to his dutiful followers aside from the fact he had decided shortly upon her arrival that she wouldn’t become food for him. 

“In that case would you like to provide me with some company? I’m afraid walking these halls is becoming rather lonesome on my own.” 

Her compnay was always more than welcome and besides, she usually had plenty to keep him entertained, even if that simply involved her silence and sitting nearby.

She smiled happily as she tilted her head to the side. “Ah! We would love too!” She said happily. This man brought her happiness, and Inosuke seemed to like him as well! So she figured that this man was okay! Inosuke thought so, so she figured she could too!

There was just something about this man, that she found comforting. Maybe it was because he took her and her son in. Yeah... Yeah that was it! That sounded right.

There were times when he’d grown rather bored and wished to stretch his legs he would wander the halls of the temple observing as others did their chores secretly picking out his next few meals for the day. 

Kotoha’s voice nearby quickly changed that. With that same smile offered to all who entered his temple, save for a little more genuine with her, he brought his attention to the woman.
