Krita, an actual FREE digital art program, recently released an Alpha 3.0 version that features tools for creating “hand-drawn animations”.

If you’re looking for an art program with more advanced tools than Paint Tool Sai but don’t want to cough up the cash, then Krita is your program. (However donations to support the people making the program are very much appreciated!)

I understand that when you first download it, the layout and tools can be a little intimidating, but don’t worry. The program comes with a manual and there are tutorials on Youtube that can help you understand the basics.

PLEASE HELP!!

I lost a white sailor moon clutch purse today on flight 3134 with Southwest Airlines at 5:40AM heading from LAX (Los Angeles, CA) to AUS (Austin. TX) and inside it contained $1000 in cash. 

We’ve already tried contacting the airlines about it and even checked with the TSA, but none of them are able to provide an answer and honestly, my sister and I are both panicking. 

The money in there is all we have left saved to help us pay rent and move into a new apartment and without it we’re basically left unable to provide for ourselves financially. 

If all of you could signal boost this and spread this around, maybe there’s a million and one chance that a kind soul that was on the plane could’ve spotted it and picked it up. We’re just desperate and begging for any information and to be able to receive our money back. We realize it’s our fault that this happened in the first place, but we just need some support.

shading colour tips

hey yall its me the Art Mom™ to help you shade pretty

rule 1: DO NOT SHADE WITH BLACK. EVER. IT NEVER LOOKS GOOD. 

red- shade with a slightly darker shade of purple

orange- slightly darker and more saturated shade of red

yellow- i think like..a peach could work but make it a really light peach

green- shade with darker and less saturated shade of blue or teal

blue- shade with purple

purple- a shade thats darker than the purple you’re using and maybe a little pink (MAYBE blue)

pink- darker shade of red

white- a really light lavender or blue..or i guess any really light colour??

black- okay listen dont use pure black to colour anything unless you want to leave it with flat colours because you cant really shade black lol

grey- a slightly darker shade of purple or blue (less saturated)

brown- slightly darker and less saturated shade of purple or red

aaaaand thats all i got lol. let me know if there is anything i should add to this list!!
