edit for context: most people in hdm world have “opposite” gender daemons but it’s implied that gay people have same gender. obviously this is crazy and deeply vexing but my personal interpretation is that same gender daemon is like gay voice aka a stereotype that is often but not always an indicator of sexuality. not sure what spin that puts on the ball transgenderically speaking but people are having some great ideas in the replies to this post.
