Unfortunately, I don't have 13 tracks to share since I kinda drifted away from listening to music (especially ones with lyrics). I find it super distracting. However, I do have a tendency to hyperfixate on stuff that I like. So the past ~six months have been mostly an on-and-off loop of the following:

Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 extended-version soundtracks and 1-hour compilations.

The one-hour extended version of BBC's News Filler (lol!)

and Massive Attack's Angel (2019 remastered version).

This is enough to keep me going for the next two years lol. Tagging anyone who sees this and has got something interesting to share!

It’s one of those weeks where I feel like I’m a total phoney artist ノ乙(､ン、) I’ve been stuck in a loop of redrawing the same lines over and over again, feeling like my hand has forgotten how to coordinate with my brain orz. This is such a baffling experience because there are times when I feel like I’m unstoppable lmao! So much so that sometimes when I finish a piece, I actually step back thinking, “Daymn, ... did I really make this?” 😳

And then there are times like this week, where I look at my WIPs, and I feel like I’m regressing orz. I don’t know the name for this whiplash phenomenon, but it sucks. I just want to feel confident while drawing and have fun (。╯︵╰。)

I know it's temporary, so let's hope it passes quickly because I'm in the mood for some Orb: On the movements of the earth fanarts (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞

Just recently, I made a promise to myself that, no matter how busy my daily schedule gets, I'll try my best to not skip my daily walks 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

This summer, I spent way too much time seated on my butt, buried in work, while my legs slowly turned into puffed up and heavy uncomfortable pillows; a natural not-so-fun outcome that happens to me when I ignore movement for too long (let alone weight gain OTL).

So when you’re in a situation like this, you’ve got two options: make excuses, or make changes. I, being a stubbornly solution-oriented person lol, chose the latter. I set a 10k/day as a minimum goal, and I’m really proud of myself for managing to consistently hit my walking goal for September! The oedema is gone, which is such a relief! And lol I can see the bones and veins on my feet again xD

Work is going to get hectic from here on until early January, but I’m hoping I'll be able to keep it up. Getting older is a tricky business, and being an adult in this economy doesn’t help either, but we gotta do what we gotta do to, at least, stay healthy, that’s one thing we can control (mostly).

Small wins 🎉 I’m happy. (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

October's progress. Still going at it ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ However! November seems to be tricky. I barely have time to eat or sleep as it is orz. There's just too much going on at once, and I'm lucky if I even manage to hit the 10k on the nose some days.

As expected, my November steps are fewer than the previous months, and I had two days where I barely crossed 3k :') December isn't looking any better either OTL. Too much to do, but now that I'm kinda free, I'll try to make up for it. These numbers have become a fixation for me; if I don't hit the targets I set for myself, it bothers me a great deal.

…and December! I think it's safe to say that daily walking is now a non-negotiable part of my day; a habit! So I can finally stop posting these monthly celebrations… at least in public 😂

My average step count has dipped a little since September, but the goal is to stay above 12k at all times, which I've consistently achieved, regardless of how busy my days get, yay ⸜(*ˊᗜˋ*)⸝

Tbh, it’s starting to feel like a healthy kind of OCD. If I don’t hit the target numbers, I can’t sleep (ᵔ.ᵔ) But hey! If I'm gonna be obsessive about something, might as well be moving my body, right? Not the worst fixation to have 😂😅

Working on patron request sketch started on the last live stream. By now it's tradition to draw Anders and Fenris at least once a year :D

Will be fun to compare it to older works when it's done to judge artistic progress :D

Last month, I held a small art request event at my ptrn after long weeks of work-induced inactivity, and tbh, it was one of the best decisions I've made this year! 😭✨

As much as I love drawing for myself, I find drawing for others a much more pleasant activity and, honestly, much more joyful than arting for my own pleasure. In a way, it helped me get back to drawing regularly and have fun doing it without stressing with the usual feelings of inadequacy I'm often plagued with ( ◡̀_◡́)💧

The final request is almost finished ✨ It was supposed to be a chibi drawing, but I couldn't skip a chance to indulge in a little "maleanatomycough"; my favourite subject lmao!

I hope I can reopen the requests again and soon. It was fun! (＾▽＾)/

A month ago, I received a rare "mention" notification in my email, and upon checking it and the website, I was reminded of how much I used to love it here |ω；｀) Turns out the mention was for a "tag game", so I guess it's a good excuse to update. The draft of this post has been gathering dust for almost a month while I debated whether I really need to respawn or not. Well,... since I'm updating, I guess the answer is "yes!", I do want to respawn lol. I miss this place (´；ω；`) A lot. ngl.
