Welcome to Pocket Seventeen, a place dedicated to allowing carats to interact with their bias in SVT in order or create a beautiful relationship, whether it be platonic or not! 

 Pocket Seventeen is a roleplay account where you can talk with your SVT bias. All you have to do is send in a prompt through ask (either dialogue or descriptive which is further explained in the rules section on the blog) for your bias and thus beginning the road towards a beautiful relationship between you and the lucky guy from SVT.

“He’s checking you out.” Is probably the last thing you’d like to hear during your eight hour shift for two reasons. One: you’re not necessarily great at saying no and you’ve got many blocked messages from people that asked for your number to prove. Two: The main demographic for the icecream shop that you worked in consisted of either small groups of children coming to celebrate their win in whatever sports they persue or large, rowdy groups of pre-teens that probably had to borrow money from their parents for this outing with friends. The second one was one that you feared most, as pre-teens are very easily persuaded by their group of friends to act out, which has lead to the couple of times you’ve actually managed to nicely say no to someone. And its overall just odd to be hit on by an overly confident prepubescent person while their group of friends egged him on and watching with eyes of a hawk. With these two factors in mind, instead of delving into Jae’s teasing words, you keep your back towards the store and keep your circular montions going as you wiped down the counter for an unnecessarily long amount of time. “I said-” Jae started, much louder than before, as if he didn’t know that you chosen to ignore him and instead were oblivious to his words due to the murmur of several conversations happening within the small icecream shop, “He’s checking you out.”

"Must you insist-" "I know most times its for gags when I say this, but there is a guy, who looks to be our age, blantantly staring over at you over his banana split," Jae cut you off short, you only lifted your head momentarily to look over at where Jae stood, head turned to look in what you assumed was the general direction of the customer that he spoke of, "He's got icecream on his chin." He offhandedly commented, his hand absentmindedly raising to rub at his own chin before he was turning his eyes to you. Your eyes held nothing but unamusement as you kept Jae's stare, a silent conversation held between you two before you were bowing your head to look back down at the cloth you held loosely against the metal table top, "Is he cute at least?" Jae was silent for a moment, most likely pondering his words before you could vaguely hear his hum as he came up with an appropriate response, "Personally, no." He started, your eyes already beginning to roll before he could continue on, "But objectively speaking, if I were to look at it from your point of view," You turned your head once more to watch as Jae cocked his head to the side, eyes narrowing in on the customer before he was shaking his head up and down with confidence, "Then yes i suppose he is okay." "'Okay'," You huffed out, turning on the heel of your sneaker so you could face Jae completely, eyes strained to keep forward instead of looking off to where Jae had been staring, "Should I- like, make eye contact?" "No, you dont want to look desperate," He immediately quirked up, eyes finally dragging away from how he had been blatantly staring to meet yours once more. You had half a mind to be annoyed before he was continuing on, "Just make it casual, act cool." Act cool, you recounted the words in your head as Jae turned away from you to tend to a couple customers that have been staring helplessly at the menu for coming up to a minute now. Act cool You weren't necessarily sure what 'acting cool' would consist of, so you just gradually began to move your way to the counter near the side of the shop that Jae had made clear the customer was, your hands halfheartedly working over the top of the counter to collect dust and melted ice cream.

Act cool You lifted your head as nonchalantely as you possibly could, head only tilted enough so you could look up through your lashes. The sight before you was much like every other day, near the door sat a couple, two spoons and one cup of icecream between the two of them. Disgusting. Somewhere in the middle was a family, the parents fussing over the childrens messy clothes as the icecream readily melted on the cone and dripped down their small pudgy hands. And against the furthest wall was a group of three boys that looked to be around Jae and your own age, two of them rowdier as they talked over each other. And then there was him amongst the loud talking group of three. Large dark eyes, the colour holding a large resemblance to a rich dark chocolate, were locked on you. His lips were a dark pink from the chill of the icecream and had a sheer coating of wetness that made them look glossy. And as Jae had mentioned, a small gallop of icecream sat in the center of his chin, slowly inching down leaving a slug like trail in its wake. There wasn't any coherant words that you could come up with on the spot to explain the swoop in your stomach at the sudden lock of eyes across the room, there was no logical reasoning for the butterflies clouding your chest and yet it was there, and growing much denser every passing second your eyes stayed connected with the soft depths of the boys. It was almost like a daze passed as the boy across the rooms lashes fluttered, glints in his eyes from reflected light dimming as he came to and realized that you had noticed him watching. Rouge coloured the tops of his cheek bones and his wet lips parted as if he wanted to say something, but nothing came out and even if it had the distance between the two of you would have prevented you from making it out. With embarrassment seeping into every pore making itself prominent, he turned away from your locked stare and looked at the table with a petrified look in his eyes. You let out a breath from your parted lips, the feeling in your chest lessening but the tightness lingered as you turned to look at Jae. You dont know how long he had been watching, but the lopsided smirk on his lips was telling enough. "Oh, shut up." Regular customers aren't an uncommon occurance when you work in an ice cream shop, in fact the city that it's located in isn't that big which leads you to be able to greet at least a handful of customers by name everytime they came in. But prior to the fateful day where you locked eyes with the customer, you hadn't seen him around the shop before. Which made you more hyper aware of every time he came in, something that was becaming near weekly. Sometimes he'd return with the group of boys that you had seen him with the first time and sometimes he'd come alone accompanied only by his phone which he dug his nose into as he ate (hiding behind the screen of his phone hardly masked each time his eyes dragged away to look up at where you stood behind the counter). But unlike the changing of the group in which he comes with, there are certain things that dont change. He orders the same banana split with extra sprinkles and caramel sauce, and he sits at the table against the wall. Much like other regulars that you've come accostumed to, you had fallen into the same habit each time the boy walked into the shop. After his third visit you began to press in his order before he had made it to the counter and after his sixth visit his name was brought up in the casual conversation you both held as you put in his order, and thus started your greetings on a first name basis. No matter how regular of a customer that he'd become, the butterflies stayed persistent each time the bell above the door chimmed and you were met with soft waves of brown hair and a perminent bright smile. Today was no different.

"Wonpil, its a shock to see you here on a Tuesday," You joked casually as the stranger approached the counter, your fingers already moving across the cash register to press in his order. "Thought I'd shake up the schedule a little and come a day earlier than usual," He shot right back with only minor hesitation, his confidence levels much higher than the first couple encounters that you two had prior. He held an embarrassing innocence around him the first time you both had actually held a casual conversation as he was ordering; which lead him to ponder over his responses for a little too long which inturn would inevitably paint his cheeks scarlet. Overtime you could see him becoming more comfortable and confident in your short conversations, but the innocence that you were first met with was still apparent each time you looked over in his direction and caught his already lingering stare. "Getting a little wild this week," You said on a soft laugh, looking up at him once you had finished processing the banana split, met with confident eyes that glinted from the dull light of the icecream shop and a bright toothy smile to match. "Yes I'm feeling unnaturally wild today, I might even switch up my order," You smacked your palm down onto the metal table top, going along with his over the top playfulness on this sudden change in what seemed to be his new schedule. "Unnaturally wild indeed!" You cooed, fingers swiftly moving over the cash register to delete the previous banana split you had put in, fingers lingering over the keys as you waited, "Then what should I get you today?" There was a seconds pause in the conversation, your head still bowed to look at the cash register as you waited for what you assumed was him making up his mind on what else he could try within the shop. "A simple chocolate dip would suffice," He spoke, his voice slow and thought out as if he was stalling to keep from saying something, but you put no thought into it as you put in his new order. You were about to open your mouth to ring out the new cost before Wonpil's voice was heard once more cutting your sentence off before it could begin, "And a date," Your fingers froze over the cash registers buttons, eyes flickering up to meet his own. The brown swirls completely drained of their confident light and were heavy with something boardering the line between embarrassment and dread. "Maybe?" He tacked on when you hadn't answered him, his voice coming out in a waver and nervous, reminding you of the boy who avoided direct eye contact and rung his fingers everytime he talked to you on the first day you had officially met.

You couldnt help the small embarrassed smile from crossing your lips as your cheeks heated up to an uncomfortably warm temperature, sure enough to leave a glow of red in its wake. You momentarily averted your gaze to the windows leading out to the sidewalk, trying to collect yourself and tame your wildly beating heart. You slowly began to nod your head in response, eyes dragging towards where Wonpil still stood before you, eyes hooded and calculated as he watched each movement you had done in response to his request. "We'll be getting a new delivery of dates at 6pm, when my shift ends," You said, hoping he'd understand your hints and that the playful response was to go along with his ice cream and date order. Wonpil blinked at you for a moment, whether it be because he was in shock or because he was trying to understand what you had said, but in no time his eyes were lighting up to their original confidentfilled brightness, the toothy smile quirking up his lips no matter how hard he tried to tamper it down as to not look too excited, "Then I will be back at 6pm sharp to.. uh.. pick up my date." You nodded quickly, clearing your throat in attempt to push the butterflies back down into your stomach so you could properly speak, "It'll be 2.50 for the cone, though." He stared at you for a moment longer before his smile turned embarrassed and his hand rose to scratch at the back of his neck, "I dont actually- necessarily want icecream today. In fact I'm kind of sick of it." "Then why did you keep coming back each week?" "It was a good excuse to come back and be able to see you." And just as the first time your eyes met across the room, your stomach swooped without clear explanation as to why and the butterflies returned with vengeance.

✦ he was a complete mess before, during and after his confession. ✦ stuttered over his own words and adjusted how his glasses sat perched on his nose approximately 20 times throughout the entire five minute ordeal (not that anyone was counting) (you definitely were, it was adorable) ✦ took longer than most of your older boyfriends to warm up to the idea of you being his girlfriend ✦ you and the other twelve members wondered if his cheeks would ever return to their natural state instead of this cherry red flush thats been adorning them since you began to call it official. ✦ isn’t big on PDA but is very affectionate behind closed doors ✦ sometimes when he’s desperate to touch while the others are around, and you’re within reach, he’ll casually rest the palm of his hand on the upper part of your thigh while keeping a steady conversation with the boys around ✦ (they don’t bring it up immediately, but they definitely egg him on about it after you’ve left causing him to turn back into the blushy boy you’ve fallen for) ✦ extravagant love confessions ? unlikely. ✦ short, simple and subtle ways of showing how much he truly cares about you ? definitely ✦ he tucks your hair behind your ear without thought, reads out loud the book he’s currently reading to you as you tangle against each other under a heavy comforter. makes sure to order things you like and give you pieces of his food that he knows you’d enjoy. “have you eaten already?” “are you taking care of yourself?”. subtle things that tell you that he cares about you.

SEUNGCHEOL

✧ he was surprisingly nervous during the confession, it was short lived after you confirmed your own feelings and made it official, the confidence that you’ve come to know was back in a flash ✧ the brightest smile adorned his face immediately after you made it official ✧ wasted no time showing you off to the other members ✧ actually, wasted no time showing you off to anyone that would listen ✧ (or anything with a heart beat and ears, no matter if they were listening or not) ✧ you were introduced as his “girlfriend” and addressed as such in casual conversations that even you began to question whether or not you had an actual name other than Seungcheol’s girlfriend ✧ you don’t mind it, the big smile that took over his lips each time he said the word was enough to convince you to officially go by “Seungcheol’s girlfriend” ✧ convinced each boy to treat you as a stand in leader when he wasn’t around, which is rather fun when you push buttons and abuse the power a little bit to cause some hell in the dorm (all in the name of fun, of course) ✧ is always finding ways to touch you, with a hand on your hip to guide you down the street, or laying his head on your lap as you both take up the entire couch to watch a movie (much to the other members dismay) ✧ you’ve never received so many compliments in your life ✧ honestly, the compliments were a lot. ✧ he ran out of things appearance wise to compliment you on after a couple weeks, thats how many times he complimented you each second ✧ “that one strand of hair thats sticking up differently today is beautiful” cue the entire dorms groan.

MINGYU

✦ you’ve never met a sappier man in your life. ✦ you could definitely tell he watched too many kdramas before confessing to you, pulled out every sappy line he’d learnt from them. ✦ “i like you, dont look at any other man, just keep your eyes on me” ✦ he did it mostly to get you to laugh (he succeeded) but he completely would not be against you only paying attention to him from that point on. ✦ dates dont usually consist of going out, as he prefers to keep you to himself in the dorm, lock out the other boys from one specific room. ✦ (Soonyoung and Seungkwan would always be out there, knocking on the door and complaining jokingly that they must get in this specific room or they’ll die. at this point you and Mingyu have become professionals at blocking out noise and creating your own personal bubble for just you two) ✦ he’s a very inventive date, as in he does any recipe from the book (without really, or at all, following the instructions), trying to impress you with his cooking skills ✦ sometimes it’s a bit of a hassle while he’s putting together his next food dish and you’re faced with a very exaggerated pout and his burnt pinky in your face waiting for a kiss ✦ he goes straight back to cooking after receiving your “life saving and healing kiss” (his words not yours) ✦ always doing that absolute most to make sure you’re happy. ✦ little does he know the smallest of gestures from him make you happy, but who’s going to tell him that ? definitely not you, seeing him act completely dorky just to get you to smile is too precious to give up.

VERNON

✧ he had a way of making the confession extremely casual ✧ pulled you out from the room, the boys hooted and hollered teasingly because they knew exactly what Vernon was planning to do, he managed to joke it off. ✧ the name memesol was invented for a reason, as he kept joking and stalling for more than half of the time that you both were out in the hallway ✧ he managed to get enough courage after awhile of joking and his shining eyes became very serious, his gaze making you transfixed and unable to look away from something so intense. ✧ it was cheesy, simple and somehow he was able to throw a pun or two in the mix while confessing his feelings ✧ he became very hands on after you made it official ✧ PDA wasn’t an absolute must to either of you, but Vernon got restless and fidgety and time to time found it harder and harder to keep his hands at bay when you were with him. ✧ his favourite spot to kiss his the spot where your neck meets your shoulder, always would wrap his hands around your waist from behind to bring you to his chest so he was able to do so. ✧ instead of letting you go after pressing a couple quick kisses to that spot he would nose against it and hide his face against the side of your neck ✧ when questioned about why he did it so often he would make ridiculous excuses and claims ✧ “a vampire needs to eat as well, the blood comes out sweeter from certain points” “you have your home and i have mine” “i enjoy her scent” ✧ sometime stupid and sometimes extremely cute even though he’s completely unaware of it. ✧ would trust you most when it came to writing his raps, constantly asking you if you thought it was alright, and though you didn’t have very much knowledge about the entire thing you offered as much feedback as possible. And sometimes sugar coated it a little too heavily just to see his smile ✧ the amount of nights you lay with him with your temple on his shoulder, watching quietly as he types out new lyrics and occasionally sings under his breath couldn’t be counted on one hand

LONG DISTANCE // MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME : MINGHAO

okay so this was suppose to be a performance team thing but the ended up being a lot longer than i was first anticipating, so i split it up into four different parts!

1 / 4 performance team long distance meeting for the first time 

MINGHAO

* you both were friends long before Minghao was this popular, finding eachother on some forum back before debute.

*  minghao initially drawing in your interest by all the stories he had to share about predebute, and getting you to stick around with his witty humour and quick playful japs

* the friendship didn’t prosper very quickly at the beginning, the time difference was unbearable and minghao was always busy preparing for the impending debute

* it wasn’t like it bothered you all that much, you weren’t very close and the times when you did talk, you understood his situation 

* it was one fatefilled night where the relationship between you two really began

* it was early morning where minghao was as you were preparing to sleep.

* the message caught you off guard but nonetheless you took the time to reply, not really considering the fact that two hours later you’d be bundled up in your sheets the light from your phone brightening up the features of your face as you had one of those ‘late night talks’ with minghao

* the ones that were too deep had it been anyother time than the early morning where your mind is foggy from exhaustion and you’re the most emotionally vulnerable

* minghao expressed his fears for debute and how he didn’t feel like he fit in terribly well with the others (saying sometimes he felt like the only one he could talk to was his pillow) and you comforted the best you could through text.

* you dont know what sparked it, but from that point on, and for the next four years, you talked to minghao on the daily - you’d even go as far as saying he’s become one of your closest friends (which is ridiculous considering the distance between you two)

* meeting each other became a reoccuring topic between the two of you, both imagining what it would be like if  you actually were to meet, giddy laughs filling each line of the phone everytime it was brought up.

* “i’d become the best tour guide if you came up here Y/N” “theres not a part of this town that would go unseen”

* it was more or less a joke, until it wasn’t and you both were skyping and sharing screens while you searched for the cheapest flight

* and then it was? sort of booked, before you were even able to second guess yourself

* it was an impuslive buy that you booked months from the actual date, and both you and minghao just sort of stared at the confirmation email before minghao let out a breathless laugh - “In two months, one week and four days, you’ll be here - god thats crazy isn’t it?”

* and in exactly two months, one week and three days, you were boarding your plane, sending your last message to minghao reminding him that he must be there to pick you up, he ensured you he will try to be there on time (sarcasm) before you turned your phone to airplane mode

* minghao was a mess

* he had plenty of time to figure out what to wear but he anxiously left it to the last minute, leaving him to run around his dorm room with one sock on while he searched for a pair of jeans.

* he maybe rushed a little too much, as he arrive at the airport thirty minutes too early and was left to wallow in his own anxiety outside of the terminal that you would be landing in

* his lanky legs jumped up and down and he fidgeted with his phone, absently checking your conversation even though he knew you were able to message him.

* you landed and were instantly bombarded with a wave of nerves, the wave hitting your hardest when you collected your luggage and were beginning to roll it out

* you followed the crowd, pushing up on your toes to see over a couple of heads which proved pointless as you couldn’t spot him.

* you stopped walking, forcing the group behind you to walk around you as you took out your phone feverously searching for internet connection since you wont be able to text without getting roaming fees.

* minghao spotted you before you spotted him

* the crowd dispersed and you were left along with a few wandering others, staring down your phone. 

* minghao stood from his seat, knees wobbly under his bodies weight and voice wavering as he called out your name

* your head flung up in surprise, eyes immediately drawn to the lanky boy with the mask pulled under his chin and the brightest smile on his lips

*  "Ming Ming!“ You all but yelled the unfavourable nickname that you came up with for him, and instead of the disgusted grimance that youw were expecting to be met with (like everyother time you used the nickname) you were met with the corners of minghaos mouth quirking up higher, all teeth bared in a toothy smile

* you met eachother halfway, your line of gaze never breaking - it was a cinematic romantic scene if you’ve ever see them

* “you’re a lot taller in person,” you examined, head tilting back so you were able to keep eye contact as his chin dipped down. 

* “thought you were joking when you said you were ‘fun-sized’,” minghao would tease back before his arms are winding around your broad shoulders and pulling you into a hug

* your hands instinctively dropped your luggage and carryon bag to the floor as they moved their way to rest tightly around your waist. 

* minghaos nose nuzzled into the top of your head as your face was pressed against the center of his chest, feeling his breathing and smelling his cologne (which was over powering because he was freaking out a little and accidentally applied too much) 

* “could keep you in my pocket and carry you around with me everywhere,” he off-handedly commented, keeping up the teasing about your size.

* you dont think you’d mind that all that much.

LONG DISTANCE // MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME : SOONYOUNG

2/4 performance unit long distance meeting for the first time

SOONYOUNG

* you were seungcheol’s friend before you were soonyoungs

* a childhood friend that was whisked away during year seven to another country but still managed to stay in contact with seungcheol, even throughout his predebut and onward you held a strong bond, always swearing to eachother not to go longer than a couple days without talking no matter how busy each of you were

* it was through seungcheol that you met the other boys, and though you managed to withhold a friendly conversation with each boy within the groupchat, you found yourself drawn towards one boy in particular, soonyoung * his sense of humour and your own matched up so well, some of the boys teased you for being a clone

* over the next couple of weeks you and soonyoung talked more and more, whether it be in the groupchat or in the side conversation that soonyoung started (claiming he had a question, but thinking back he stalled so much that you forgot about the excuse completely and the conversation just flowed from there)

* everytime you’re on facetime with seungcheol, soonyoung will find someway to be apart of it. whether it be shouted comments from outside of the frame, or popping in from time to time to smile that smile that scrunches up his entire face while saying hello.

* seungcheol would usually push him away and claim it was his time and soonyoung should mind his business and book his own appointment with you * and somehow that became a thing

* soonyoung had called you on facetime once, claiming he needed help with someone and when that something was wrapped up - he kept you on facetime for another two hours, completely off topic and everywhere

* on one of your weekly (okay more like nightly) facetime sessions, soonyoung offhandedly made a comment about you coming to visit (“for seungcheols sake, i think he misses you or something.”) 

* it didn’t take a genuis (or someone who’s known soonyoung for nearly a year) to realize this was one of his notorious excuses

* you said you’d consider it (for seungcheols sake of course), the smile on his face was telling enough.

* that offhanded comment became a very real thing one night when you had seungcheol to yourself on facetime, soonyoung in the practice room with the others 

* you talked about flying over there, and somewhere throughout the conversation you were no longer just talking about it, you were putting in your information for a ticket.

* before hanging up that evening, you told seungcheol not to tell soonyoung * he was skeptical, but virtually pinky promised (held his pinky up to the camera as you did) that your arrival would be confidential to just him, and some of the other boys he considered trustworthy enough not to spill to soonyoung accidentally (so seungkwan and mingyu were definitely in for a surprise as well)

* you flew in a month later, seungcheol there alone to pick you up from the airport. if a few tears were shed by reuniting after so long, no one needed to know about it.

* seungcheol informed you that soonyoung was in the studio practicing and thats where you would be conducting the surprise. minghao and jun promised to keep him focused and busy in order to allow the surprise to happen.

* you fingers tingled with nerves as you followed behind seungcheol in the hallway, the bass of the music rattling off the walls and shaking you. 

* you couldn’t be sure why you were so nervous to be faced with someone that you had become so close with over the past year, but every step forward felt heavier the closer you two got to the door that was open a jar.

* the door was soon being pushed open, the music loud enough to completely cover up the creak and seungcheol broad enough to nearly keep you covered from soonyoungs line of vision in the mirror.

* minghao and jun looking knowingly at the door, giving a finger wave as you peeked around seungcheol which you giddly returned. dino and soonyoung obliviously continuing to dance with their backs towards the door.

* seungcheol was stepping aside before you could prepare yourself, your entire body now visible in the reflection of the mirror that soonyoung and dino were facing

* it took a few minutes (honestly too long for your liking) but eventually they clued in.

* soonyoung stumbled over his feet as he realized in the middle of a footheavy dance move, only nearly catching himself before falling on his ass

* he whipped around at a surprisingly fast speed, his jaw dropped in a wide mouth smile.

* you were only able to walk a few steps into the room before soonyoung was rushing towards you, the sheer coating of sweat on his skin becoming more prominent the closer he got.

* quickly you side stepped around him, making him barrel past you, nearly smacking straight into an unaware seungcheol.

* “take a shower and maybe i’ll consider hugging you, yeah?”

* soonyoung let out a laugh, his smile turning mischievous as he began to run towards you once more

* with a start, you turn away from him and run as fast you possibly could away from him, the constant laughing making it difficult to run at the same time (it doesnt help that multitasking wasnt exactly your strong suit either) 

* you make a circle around the room, managing to dodge around him as you take shelter behind a table, bolting past him as he went around to get you and running straight past seugcheol (and all the curious eyes) and out the door, making your way down the hallway

* the pound of soonyoungs sneakers were getting closer as your stamina started to wear, and soon you felt his chest smash against your back, arms winding around your stomach and hauling you off the ground so you were left dangling in the embrace of soonyoungs arms

* you both laughed until your couldn’t laugh anymore, both your stomachs hurting as soonyoung placed you back down on the floor, slouching his body to fit his chest against the curve of your back

* “i’ll take my hug now, if you will.”

* you couldn’t really be mad, as you willingly agreed turning in his hold to return the hug

It was odd how vivid each dream was.  Like a newly released movie full of sharp and contrasting colours, one that dragged on for the entire night until your own eyes were opening, blinking back into reality as they focused on the popcorned ceiling above your head.

The visions began when you were eight, all dreams before hand had never been this vivid, never this realistic.

They reoccured each night, similar in most ways as you seen the same places and faces whilst hearing same voice, it wasn’t yours but you were quickly becoming familiar with it. But unlike any dreams before these, you remembered them each time you awoke.

Like it wasn’t a figment of your imagination but something that you had lived through.

It took you a few weeks to actually bring up the topic of your dreams to your mother.

Pairing : Mingyu x Reader Word Count : 1,798 A/N : aaaa, first of all thank you sososo much for the request!! and also i hope?? this suffices. ive never been to a fansign (knock on wood) and i dont ?? necessarily know how they work lolol??? but i did do some research (and by that i mean i googled fansign experiences and watched cute fansign moments - those were mostly for myself) and this was born. once again thank you for the request and i hope to see you requesting more sometime in the future!!

It wasn’t your first time at a fansign, but nerves still twisted in your stomach without real end in sight; The feeling was something easily described as nervous but far too uncomfortably close to being also justifiably classified as sick. It was bareable from the beginning, as you sat and observed others going to greet them, waiting patiently (or not) for your time to come. The nerves sloshed in your stomach like a morning sea, gentle waves that could easily be ignored for the time being.

But as time ticked on, and your turn came closer, the gentle slosh turned into violent tides one that wasn’t as easy to swallow down. 

With only little hesitation, you followed the crowd to line up, fingers fiddling with the album until you were climbing up the short staircase and taking a knee before Seungcheol, the first one in line.

MONSTA X AS TEACHERS

SHOWNU - principle of the school - all the grade nines initially are scared of him from just looks alone so attendance for the first week is pretty remarkable - it doesn’t take long before they’re figuring it out or peers inform that that despite his tall presences he’s a big soft bear - all the kids call him by his first name even though he tries to tell them not to (they dont take him serious because his attempt at keeping a stern face is apparently the funniest thing ever) - is the one kids hope to be able to see instead of the vice principle as he’s too soft to actually get anyone in serious trouble - he’s stern when he has to be, but always apologizes to the student (even if ??they totally deserved being chewed out) because he feels bad - probably tries to be funny over P.A during morning announcements - he never is funny - no one but the english teacher, Hyungwon, lets him know that WONHO - gym teacher / coach - either doesnt take the lesson serious at all and lets his class play dodge ball all period or takes it really serious and gets hyped up about working out - theres no inbetween - he’s everyones friend - and every persons teacher crush (i mean have you seen his ass) - is the apart of almost every after school activity and coaches the football team - everyone on and off the field address’ him as coach, and he takes too much pride in it - has a big mouth - on of those teachers that is friends with everyone so therefore tells them everything thats happening in the school that Shownu told them to keep on the DL during the staff meeting - Shownu has half a mind to stop telling him about their staff meetings. - probably doesnt take exams seriously at all - honestly doesnt even understand why gym has a written exam in the first place - hints all the answers to his students - Shownu keeps him around because his classes always have the highest marks when it comes to exams - is always apart of the student vs teacher events, and gets too competitive when emersed in the sport - Shownu had to forbid him one year because he nearly broke a kids arm during basketball - completely accidental, and if anyone asked it was the kids fault not Wonhos. HYUNGWON - english teacher - probably got into being an english teacher because it seemed like the easiest job with the least amount of work - assigns a book and calls it a day for that period - half the time he’s excusing himself from class and Shownu will find him digging through the staffs shared fridge, catching him red handed with Kihyun’s lunch that was boldly labelled “dont touch” and underneath “Especially you Hyungwon” - People dont mind his class at all?? mostly because he’s eye candy to look at and they dont even have to do work?? what more could you ask for. - Always on his phone, probably looks up from his phone three (3) times the entire period - a really easy marker ???? most of his students probably whip up the essay in an hour and Hyungwon will still given them a pretty decent passing grade - cares about his job and his students no matter how passive he comes off - only has a couple students that actually would consider themselves close to him, though there are many that appreciate him as a teacher because they know they’re in for a pretty easy semester if they have him on their timestable

JOOHEON - guidance counsellor - a big ray of sunshine at literally every point of every day - knows mostly all students by name and greets all of them when they pass by or come into the guidance office - everyone adores him and comes to him for everything - other counsellors are probably envious of how mant students request him when making an appointment - the type of counsellor that would allow you to come into his office and cry about whatever was troubling you and cry with you - students have seen him cry too many times even if he denies it everytime groups bring it up to poke fun of him - has a bowl of treats for anyone that visits him - doesn’t offer much advice (though its his job) but people keep coming because he allows them to stay as long as they need if they need to take a mental break from classes - people adore him so much and he nearly always gets some sort of mention in the valedictorians speach for his presences in their school journey MINHYUK - science teacher - sometimes it sounds like he doesn’t really know what he’s talking about - he’s had some people question if teaching science was his calling and he’ll defend himself and his job position until he retires - he does actually know what he’s doing 98% of the time - the type of teacher to offer help and actually happily stay after class / school to sit down with students that were having a hard time understanding and explaining it to them in simplier terms - aka a teacher that actually cares about his students - he’s a real odd teacher, some people love it some people .. not so much - he gets sidetracked in class a lot and goes on tangents about things not relevent to biology in the slightest - likes to talk and indulge in his personal life with his students - the students know too much about his dog at home and have seen too many pictures about them (they’re faced with it constantly, as he’s taken it into his own hands to frame a picture of the dog - its a good dog in his defence) KIHYUN - music / drama teacher - almost as bad as Hyungwon - misses a lot of days and is constantly putting his students through watching the same movies everytime hes not there - but when he is there, class is never a bore - he’s so passionate about what he does despite always making excuses (that Shonu allows, god bless his soft heart) to get days off with pay - people join his class even if they know nothing about music because they’ve heard he’s a good teacher - no student leaves his class without learning at least a couple things about music - probably is the teacher in charge of band and is always staying after school to ensure that they’re well practiced for class events and competitions - they’ve won once out of every competition but he’s very confident every year that next year will be there second win - Wonho and him have a friendly competition going, football verses band - its a really unfair battle as Wonho’s team always comes out victorious, but nonetheless Kihyun is too competitive to back down - students are tired of this rivalry

CHANGKYUN - art teacher - always late to class - is the teacher that gets there one minute before students are legally allowed to leave since no teacher came (some people resent this but have come to accept it and just show up to class twenty minutes late - they usually get there at the same time as Changkyun) - doesn’t like to assign tedious work and likes his class to explore their artistic talents with their own imagination - most of his assignments are completely up to the students - some people would say this is freedom while others claim its just laziness - its mostly for the freedom to express yourself through art but he’d be a liar if he said his laziness didn’t play a part - the forgetful teacher - always loses assignments, especially good at losing the ones students are most proud of and want to actually keep - his folders are a mess - no student has ever seen a teacher this stressed out about their own organizational skills - students are able to lie about handing in assignments a lot with the facade that Changkyun must have just lost the first copy - many kids get extensions on their work / paper without Changkyun being completely aware of what is happening
