I'd like to know how, scientifically speaking, Young K is SO HAPPY all the time.
What an excellent question. I know Dr. Ducky’s specialty group is Day6; however, our research here overlaps, and she has given me the green light to answer your query.
The source of Young K’s power of happiness originates from a phenomenon recently discovered called the Circle of Joy (CoJ). This is a constant radius of goodness with Young K at its epicenter. The relative proximity of the other members of Day6 can make this circle grow exponentially due to the Friendship Factor (YK + xD6 = Joy^y).
The power of the CoJ can also be augmented by a series of other factors listed here:
Fulfillment - Doing what you love and loving what you do. Each time the words “lyrics by Young K” are uttered the CoJ receives a boost in happiness power.
Foxiness - The power of knowing you look Like That and deeply enjoying proving it to to My Days. This powers both the CoJ and all other aspects of the Young K, i.e. charisma, smugness, stage presence, etc.
Support - This researcher has observed a boost in the CoJ’s happiness power levels specifically during live performances. The theory remains untested, but it is believed to be directly linked to the enthusiasm and energy My Days share with the band.
Sleep - Young K is very happy and full of joy, but it is important to recharge. Adequate amounts of sleep must be achieved to maintain the necessary happiness levels.
Americanos - My charts indicate a direct correlation between Americano consumption and sunshine levels in the subject. A large spike occurs after the consumption of each Americano, but it is believed this affect will plateau once x amount of Americanos are consumed. Results still pending.
Other factors that may affect Young K’s happiness levels, such as idiotic antics, still need to be considered. A separate research project on sunshine levels in subjects like Young K is underway, the results of which are still pending.
Affects of the CoJ are most powerful to those in close proximity to the subject, but can also extend through visual media, such as photographs, gifs, and videos. Science has yet been able to explain precisely how this power works over such long distances, but some side effects are: unstoppable smiling, warm and fuzziness in the heart, tears of joy, and a desire to be a better person.
