If you keep me from my Oppa
**This is a really old request we had sitting in our drafts. Hope you enjoy.**
"Back up NOW!" Your voice raised to an alarming volume as you yelled at the crowd of hormonal girls.Â
As the head of security, it was often you were dealt situations much like this one. Pressing your lips to the receiver, speaking clearly into the radio.
"I need at least 5 more officers up here now at gate A25. Exo will be walking out in 5 minutes. Tell them to get their asses up here!"
It was concerning to think your officers were going to try and cover a 12 member group with just 8 security guards. Standing firm to hold the crowd back was challenging as you felt the constant wave pushing at your back.
"Iâm not playing games. Back up or I will have you removed." You directed your comment at a particularly aggressive girl.
"Ajumma, if you keep me from seeing my Lay oppa I wonât forgive you."Â
Was that a threat?âŠAnd from a school girl? This was not how you played.
"Ajumma?!! Listen here, There will be more than begging for forgiveness if you try and step past that tape. Calm down or I will purposely walk your precious oppa on the other side of the crowd. Catch my drift?"
She scowled at you and took a few steps back just in time for the group of boys to come off the air plane. The closer Exo got to the fan girls, the more aggressive they became. Your security group was doing well until your palm met with the cold tile floor with a crack.
Turns out the girl got a few of her friends to help give you a good push. You knew instantly your wrist was broken. The other security guards had been able to quickly hold the crowd further back, giving you time to try and get back up.Â
You were fuming, ready to kill that stupid little girl along with the stupid smirk she wore.
Three of the members of the group stopped when they heard the loud crack of your bones.
"Youâre lucky I donât just kill you now." The sharp words hit the smug girl as she ducked for cover behind her friend.Â
"Damnit." wincing, you tried to re-set it.
"Donât do that!" The blonde boy walked toward you, concerned.
"Yeah, you should go to a hospital." The pink haired boy peeked over his shoulder.
"After we transport your group to the waiting room." There was an icy coldness to your voice, causing the other boy to release your wrist and back away.Â
They both nodded in agreement.
After Exo was escorted to their waiting room, you were called into the chief security office.Â
Face to face with your disgruntled boss. GreatâŠ
"I knew I was taking a risk with you, you're far too young to be the head of security, but you came with glowing references. Now what should I do after you threatened a young girl multiple times. She called her parents and now theyâre going to sue."
"Sue over what?! She pushed me and broke my wrist." The pain stung again, reminding you that you had yet to take care of the broken bones.
" You canât do whatever you feel like officer _____. You represent an organization!"
"With all do respect sir, I didn't serve in the military for 4 years over seas to escort little boys through the airport while middle school girls plot to injure me."
"Come on...We're not that young. I'm already 23."
A stone cold expression was plastered on his face as he walked closer. It was the same blonde boy from before.
"Lay... Zhang Yixing , I know who you are. I memorized all of your profiles."
He smiled, amused as you took his outstretched hand to give a firm hand shake.Â
"Sir,may I borrow your head officer for a minute?"
Who did this boy...man think he was?Â
The chief nodded in agreement albeit a bit confused.
Yixing led you out of the office and into a vacant waiting room. You didn't understand what it was he needed from you.
âIf youâre looking for an apology from me to your fans, it wonât happen.â
âI actually asked that she apologize to you. That kind of behavior should never come from people who claim to be our fans. As a member of EXO I wanted to thank you and say I am sorry.â
You nodded as you accepted his words. His diplomatic skills were impressive. You guessed that was one of those "idol qualities" your younger sister constantly gushed about.Â
Abruptly he reached for your wrist. Your eyes fixated on his hands, knowing what he would do without any warning. Then you heard another crack before grabbing onto the front of his shirt to curb some of the pain. A hushed sob escaped as he yanked your hand again.
âAlmost done.â One more twist and the numbness began to dissipate in your fingertips.
â...Youâre still holding onto my shirtâŠâ
âOh! Sorry.â You let go abruptly...confused and flustered. What was going on with you?
"You need to go to a hospital. I've reset many jammed joints and broken fingers during dance practices, but I'm no doctor. Don't make me worry even more."
Nodding slowly, he smiled and started to walk back sown the hallway. You found his charm to be irresistible, beginning to understand what all those fans saw in this group.Â
âOh! Thank you Yixing-shi!â
âDonât mention it. Iâll be seeing you around noona.â
 Noona?! Seeing me around? You wondered what he meant...
