There are a lot of ENFP kpop idols, namely Dongwoo of Infinite, Kyung of Block B, PO of Block B, Sandeul of B1A4, Eunji of Apink, After School’s Lizzy, Taeyeon of SNSD, Yuri of SNSD, Sooyoung of SNSD (SNSD has alot of ENFPs lol) Miss A Suzy, AOA’s Seolhyun, Super Junior’s Donghae, Chansung of 2pm is a confirmed ENFP, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, V from BTS, Jungshin of CNblue, I’ve heard Red Velvet’s Wendy typed as ENFP too but I’m not a Red Velvet fan so I can’t confirm this. thank you! I am familiar with Exo, I’m not sure if I could make in depth posts about Exo because that would take forever, maybe for a couple of the members but idk about all. For now I can just list off basic types:

Chanyeol- ENxJ

Sehun- INFP

Baekhyun- ESFP

DO- ISTJ

Lay- INFP

Kai- INTJ I would say INFJ but I feel like he is more likely to argue for what he thinks is right then he is to remain silent in order to maintain harmony. you know?

Xiumin- ISFP or ISTP, I don’t know any ISTPs in real life so they are always had for me to distinguish so for now I’m saying ISFP but if someone thinks otherwise they are welcome to dispute this

Tao- INFP

I know it may seem like there are too many INFPs but I really do think everyone I typed as an INFP is an INFP, as much as I would like for there to be more variation, I just really feel strongly that Exo has a lot of INFPs. I feel like INFPs do well in bigger groups like Exo because they can still do what they love but there isn’t as much pressure in interviews and stuff.

Hi :) Can you guess what is lee seunghoon's type ? I'm an ENFJ and I feel like our personnality is really similar for some reasons.

Hi! Well earlier I guessed ESTP, but I can definitely see where you’re coming from. Hoon does have those ENFJ motivational skills, he is also very loyal and creative like the ENFJ. I guessed ESTP earlier because hoon is very externally focused like the ESTP, very active, can think quickly, charming, stylish and I have always seen him as more of a perceiver. A lot of the times I’m tempted to type dancers as sensory types as well, just because of stereotypes and stuff but I could be wrong. I’ve never thought of Hoon being an NF, he seemed more NF when he was on Kpop star though and when I was typing him I was mostly just thinking about how he acts with Winner. If you can convince me he is an ENFJ, I’d be happy to change what I wrote earlier. Thanks for your question! I love seunghoon, he definitely does share those maternal caring vibes that a lot of ENFJs have.

Why did you type Seungyoon as INTJ?

well I typed him as an INTJ as opposed to an INFJ because he seems a bit too pragmatic to be an INFJ. He doesn’t seem like a feeler to me honestly and I mean Winner itself is a very feeler band, they are very sensitive to each other’s feelings but I feel like Seungyoon is the least like that and he is able to make important decisions and he doesn’t avoid conflict. He can be very blunt, i feel a bit too blunt to be an INFJ. I am planning on making long posts breaking down winner’s types so I’ll explain more later.

Super Junior *cracks knuckles*

well I’m not the biggest super junior fan, I’ve watched like two of their shows but they were wicked old and the only recent stuff I’ve watched with them is stuff with Donghae and Eunhyuk. I will try my best haha

Henry- ESFP I feel that this was very apparent when he went on Roommate.

Siwon- ISTJ but honestly the only thing I know about the guy is that he is extremely conservative and I watched him in that Taiwanese drama Skip Beat! with Donghae so my knowledge is limited, I could be wrong. I’m going mostly off of his vibes. He’s also very traditional and seemingly less in touch with feelings? But idk

Zhou Mi- INFP I feel like there are a lot of INFPs listed in bigger bands like SJ, Exo, SNSD and Topp Dogg, idk why that is but it’s just something I’ve noticed in the tags and stuff. Zhou Mi I don’t know as well as other members but from what I have seen of him, he is very introspective and seems to have a knack for language which is like an INFP thing apparently.

Kyuhyun- ISTJ I used to think INTJ but he just doesn’t seem very Ne dom to me.

Kibum- INFP

Ryeowook- INFP as sin. I love Ryeowook, he’s adorable. Some of the other INFP members could be mistyped just for being quiet but I feel like Ryeowook really embodies the INFP spirit.

Donghae- ENFP. Donghae is so ENFP it hurts, he was the reason I checked out Super Junior honestly because I watched him on some show and he just screamed ENFP to me. He is super kind, Amber described him as being “too kind” he is excitable but his extroversion is somewhat dwarfed by the other extroverts of the group. He is a bit of a crybaby, he’s really sensitive and reflective and can be very insightful at points. He has a deep ethical code and is a very deep person in general but he also has an offbeat sense of humor and is very friendly and comforting.

Eunhyuk- ISFP but like an outgoing ISFP

Sungmin- Ixxx I don’t know him well enough, once again I am sorry

Shindong- idk he’s an extrovert and he is insensitive and a bit demanding so ESTJ I guess, I’m not really a big fan of his due to some of the stuff he has said so I haven’t watched a lot of his stuff.

Kangin- ENTJ he just reminds me a lot of my ENTJ best friend

Yesung- INFx can’t tell whether he is a perceiver or not

Heechul- ENTP as sin. Off the wall Ne humor, very creative and unconcerned with others but also a bit insensitive. Though insensitive he is also extremely open minded. He has bouts of introversion much like the ENTP stereotype and is very outspoken. ENTPs are always very refreshing in Kpop I find because they are just so real about everything.

Leeteuk- ISFJ great leadership skills, open with emotions but pragmatic when speaking and very traditional.

Hey! Sorry for getting back to you so late! Since this blog isn’t connected to my regular blog I’ve forgotten about it a bit. I’m sorry! I was planning on doing long posts about their types since I love them but for now I have:

Suga- INTJ, I feel that this is indisputable.

JHope- ENFJ, I know it’s rare in guys but he has that like maternal presence as well as that sensitivity. His sense of humor is very in line with the ENFJ imo

Jimin- ESTJ with feeler tendencies? I thought maybe ESFP which would be totally different but everyone else has typed him as an ESTJ and I can see where they are coming from. Idk I might have to come back to Jimin because I don’t have too much confidence in this answer haha

Jin- ISFP, he has the strong values of an ISFP and he also doesn’t seem to care as much as the others on how he is perceived. He’s like okay with his awkward self but he is also sensitive and caring.

JongKook- ISFJ out of all the members he seems a bit less likely to be in touch with his feelings, enjoys physical activities, gets overwhelmed by large crowds of people and is always more comfortable and outgoing when it’s just the band hanging out. He’s like a really soft kind of ISFJ.

V- ENFP- I can hear the screams in protest already. Everyone else types him as ENTP and though I can see where they are coming from, since it is easy to confuse dom intuitives, I find V is a total feeler and he seems very sensitive to those around him. He might seem less dependent on other people in comparison to other ENFPs, but he doesn’t handle criticism the same way ENTPs do, he has bouts of surprising insight and his deeply felt familial values give off a Fi feeling to me. You also have to take into account that male ENFPs tend to “pose” as ENTPs since ENTPs possess the desired masculine traits. Idk if you compare him with other obvious ENTPs you can see a distinct difference. I could be totally wrong, you are welcome to come to my inbox and convince me otherwise but that is just what I think.

Rap Mon- INFJ Now this is really going to upset people. I’ve seen a lot of long rant posts about him being sensory but I just don’t buy it. The books he has named off that he enjoys reading are very Ne, and his writing is very NF full of metaphors and shit. He also seems very pacifistic to me, he always tries to avoid conflict when he can. If you watch that horrible video of them with Bfree then you’ll see what I’m talking about- he has strong values but would rather resolve things peacefully. He has great language skills and loves poetry. I have two close INFJ friends and they act a lot like him so this could all just be a manifestation of personal bias but for now I really see him as an INFJ

aah another ask! I’m pumped. Well do you mean like the estp x infp relationship dynamic or do you want me to share my thoughts on both individual types?

ESTP- to be honest I don’t think I know any ESTPs in my personal life so it’s really quite hard for me to judge them. Just judging by the basic description of ESTPs and the celebrities I know that are this type (aka Jack Nicholson, Madonna, Judi Dench, Al Capone) I can say that I admire their bluntness and I admire their “I don’t give two shits about what you think” attitude. I feel that if an ESTP was in a movie, they would be introduced in a stylish shot that panned down a hallway cut in perfect symmetry and the trailer music would go BREEAAGHHHHH when their face hit the screen.... I’m sorry if none of that makes sense. What I mean to say is that they are pretty epic. As an ENFP, I admire how bold they are, how capable they are at picking up others’ motivations and their decisiveness which I totally lack. Something I can’t relate to them on is how adverse they are to theoretical thinking, possibilities being such a big part of the ENFP world. Once again I don’t know really all that much about ESTPs, I couldn’t even name any ESTP kpop idols I know of because I can usually pick up NF vibes pretty well but it is much harder for me to pick up ST. People call this type the “bad bitch” type so I’m guessing maybe someone like CL could be an ESTP.

INFP- Infps are honestly my everything, my twin sister is an INFP, I have like an army of INFP friends, I’m like this little ENFP firefly traveling in an INFP world. I could go on for days about this type, I think they are seriously so underrated. Like if you go on mbti facebook pages, everyone is always hating on INFPs for being like whiny little bitches but they don’t realize that like if you were to name some important visionary figure I can guarantee that they are 9 times out of 10  going to be an INFP. If you follow NF geeks, the dude said something that I thought was very true, you’ll often find INFPs and ENFPs exchanging knowing glances with each other because they are so in sync with each other. I can’t really say anything more than I love them? And that I want to protect them from this cruel chaotic world? My issues with INFPs of course are their self destruction tendencies, they don’t speak up when they should and in the unhealthy cases they can use a lot of emotional manipulation. Also from my experience they can be compulsive liars and have terrible wrathful tempers. However no one can come near to their unique inner world, their imagination, their insight into others and their open mindedness. They will genuinely listen to you and empathize with you. They are so free with their emotions and they don’t shy away from the grim, in fact they revel in it. People like Tim Burton have made an entire brand off of the INFP taste for the macabre and melancholy. The INFP is the most easy of all personalities to spot imo. INFP kpop idols would be like Myungsoo from Infinite, Taeil of Block B, Jinwoo of Winner, Sehun of Exo and Dara of 2ne1 and Song Ji Hyo of Running Man and many awesome movies. There are actually a lot of INFPs in kpop I find, especially in female idols. A great american musician who is an obvious INFP would be Gerard Way of MCR. I’ve noticed that INFPs are like THE nicest people to their fans like.. they will go the extra mile to make you feel like they’ve noticed you and they genuinely do care about their fans. the ENFP and INFP are so similar there isn’t really much for me to learn from them except maybe to shut up once in a while or to maybe stop running away from my negative feelings and embrace them? Idk though we are too closely aligned to make any significant change in each other. Final verdict: INFPs are seriously fucking great and they need more love.

ESTP x INFP- aaaahhhh honestly relationshipwise I don’t see things going all that great. I mean you should never judge the potential of a relationship based on MBTI types, however the INFP is the most sensitive and open minded of all personality types where as the ESTP is one of the least sensitive and headstrong personality types. INFPs love dousing into the theoretical, they like to avoid conflict and are intimidated by bluntness- i don’t even see these types carrying out a successful conversation? Idk though once again I need to actually meet an ESTP in my life before i confirm any of this, this is all mere speculation. I feel that the ESTP would dominate the conversation, the INFP would quietly listen and be offended but they would keep it to themselves. Communication would be very difficult to achieve especially since both types are known for their ability to see inside people and to see their true intentions. There would be a whole lot of arguments that would arouse simply through assumption on what the other is thinking/ feeling. I mean anything is workable, however I feel that the ESTP would do better with an INTP and the INFP would do better with another intuitive type like ENTP, INTJ, INTP, INFJ, ENFJ or ENFP.

What is your opinion on ENTJ?

I’m sorry for getting back to you so late! I went to the SMTM4 concert in New York and I just started classes and I’m really behind on my homework. I’ll definitely be more diligent in the future once I settle into my new schedule, so sorry about that!

Well as an ENFP of course my opinion of the ENTJ is going to vary from someone elses haha. I try not to judge certain personality types as a whole, but who am I kidding I have my preferences haha. One of my best friends of 13 years is an ENTJ and as much as I love her I do feel that we clash on a lot of things. She is the kind of friend who is constantly telling me “you need to get your life together, you need more concrete goals, you’re not going to be successful” blah blah blah. And I’m constantly telling her that she isn’t looking at the big picture and I can find her aspirations to be a bit superficial and she seems too eager to fufill obligations/ people’s expectations. ENTJs and ENFPs are like apples to oranges, I mean totally different mindsets. I admire ENTJs for their magical powers of persuasion, their determination, their numerical skills which I lack, their logical thinking, their enterprising demeanor. ENTJs make for great leaders and are probably the most dependable of all personality types imo. My friend is super helpful and she always encourages me to improve upon myself. She can do anything she sets her mind to and everyone loves her. One of my major issues with ENTJs is their need to dominate or to have control over situations, this is like the antithesis of the ENFP mindset which is all about freedom and doing your own thing. I also can’t relate to their insensitivity sometimes, like my friend was president of our class and she did our graduation speech and she made it all about how people shouldn’t be offended so easily and I was just so pissed because I hate it how society tries to stifle sensitivity like fuck you expression of emotion is an integral human need, people have the right to be offended. Idk if that was an ENTJ thing to say but I do think it is something that an introverted feeler could never understand.

Things I don’t like:

- how they validate themselves through other people all the time

- too harsh, insensitive

- control freaks

- are too focused on their goals to see the big picture, they need to stop and smell the roses, you know?

- too manipulative and kind of fake at times

- tend to be ignorant about social issues (this is definitely a generalization but I’ve only known about 3 ENTJs and they were all this way and even in kpop GD who is an obvious ENTJ has done a lot of problematic things- i don’t think I need receipts.. you could totally argue with me on this one though because its really just a gross stereotype that I find unattractive in this type)

- they can be insensitive but if you ever say shit to them they like flip out. Super prideful and they fight like middle schoolers. Like I got into an argument with my friend and a day later she is trying to turn everyone against me and I was just like holy fuck. I think it’s apart of their domination thing they just want you to know your place or something. I think its super petty and we rarely fight like maybe we’ve fought like 5 times in our lives but when we do fight she is fucking brutal and totally doesn’t even try to understand my feelings. Its like you have to apologize or else you’ll never be friends again. Don’t ever wait for an apology from an ENTJ because you’re not going to get one.

Things I like:

- seriously good at everything they do

- irresistibly charismatic

- hyper- analytical skills on fleek

- creative, very original

- super neat and organized, they have their shit together

- will do anything for their friends

- determined and strong willed

- powerful

- they can be refreshingly blunt at times and can surprise you with little intuitive bouts of insight

- shockingly cuddly haha

My opinion is shaped mostly on my experiences with this type as well as my own preferences in personality. As much as my best friend and I clash, we also learn a lot from each other. I learn how to have more self discipline, she keeps me grounded and kind of keeps me going in one fixed direction where as I inspire her to be a bit more introspective and sensitive. I tell her it’s okay to have feelings and that you should mind the feelings of others. I feel that I am a comforting person in her life in the sense where she can finally put away the ENTJ magic tricks of persuasion and just be herself. She doesn’t have to impress me and she can talk to me about stuff she couldn’t talk to her other friends about like what the meaning of life is and shit. What is interesting to note is that both the ENTJ and ENFP are known to be charming but with the ENTJ it is a honed craft that is very strategically thought out where as with the ENFP I feel like we are just naturally optimistic and our naivety can charm people. ENTJs are cool and calculated, you naturally want to follow them where as sometimes ENFPs can be very inspiring just because of how freely they feel and how imaginative they are. Idk it might seem like I don’t like ENTJs but I do. Even though we clash on a lot of issues, I really do admire them. I wish I was more like the ENTJ, I know that I would totally be more successful. I've seen a lot of people type B.I as ISFP. What do you think about that?

It’s very possible. In all honesty I am very hesitant to type BI because I’ve only ever seen him during high- stress situations. My issue with him being an ISFP is that ISFPs are not very confrontational, often striving for harmony as opposed to getting their way where as I feel like BI is very headstrong in his beliefs and always wants to do the honorable thing. He’s very blunt when giving directions to his fellow IKON members where as an ISFP would be much more passive aggressive or would sugar coat things, you know? I can see him being an ISFP in the sense where he is a perfectionist and very harsh on himself and doesn’t handle criticism well. However; ISFPs really aren’t usually leaders and BI is always being praised for his natural leadership skills so idk. It could go either way. I felt ISTJ because he reminds me a lot of an ISTJ friend I have, who is very dutiful but also slightly insensitive, he’s like an artistic breed of ISTJ. It’s a very interesting question anon! Hello new followers!

I think moving forward I might make my posts less function- based since that might be a bit boring to people. I just didn’t want to do something that has already been done before, and I also think I’m going to make them a bit more public- friendly just in case people don’t know what mbti is and they might get annoyed by these confusing long posts on their dashboards. So less talk about functions and more about the overall personally types. if people don’t want me to change then I’ll continue with the format I’ve got going which is breaking down functions and adding gifs to make the thing more readable but Idk.. hi! before you get any big request, could you guess the members of Ikon?

AAAAAHHH! My very first message! I’m so happy! Thank you for taking interest in my little blog lol. Anyways.. well I can give you my educated guesses here, but I feel like i could only make in- depth posts about Bobby and BI. If you want something a bit more accurate, I would try to find out what other kpop mbti blogs have written since I don’t know them all that well. The only one I am for sure about is Bobby so here goes:

BI- ISTJ, I feel like I can’t accurately type BI only because throughout Mix and Match and during his stint on SMTM3 he was evidently under a lot of stress and was arguably depressed, and you aren’t really supposed to take the test or anything when you are not 100% mentally healthy. Considering the recent v videos I would say BI is an unhealthy ISTJ with great leadership skills, and a heightened sense of duty

Bobby- ESFP through and through. He is exactly like one of my best friends who is an ESFP, constantly energized, affectionate, the mood- maker, active, loves to go hard lol, can handle criticism really well, lives in the moment and everything else. Textbook ESFP.

Jinhwan- INFJ, however I would accept ENFJ too because he reminds me so much of my ENFJ friend who is also on the shyer side.. all I really know about Jinhwan is that he is sensitive, a good listener, the mom friend and hard working.

Junhoe- INFP, some people might totally disagree with me on this one but I’m pretty sure he is an INFP. My sister is an INFP and I find that people often ignore how easily angered INFPs are. There is such a stereotype that INFPs are just sensitive kind listeners but I feel like people who think this way really don’t know INFPs. I spend a majority of my time with INFPs and Junhoe really sends me those vibes. Idk though, I don’t see him enough to make a precise decision.

Yun Hyeong- ENFP, everyone from Junhoe down is pretty much free range, because they really aren’t given enough screentime to make any accurate analysis, however; from what I’ve seen of YunHyeong he really comes off as being a people pleaser, energized when with the members, sanguine, always very empathetic towards other members’ feelings, very sensitive and since his extroverted function is intuition, this might give off the impression that he is an introvert since extroverted intuition works very differently. He might seem shy but I think he’d rather spend time with the members rather than by himself.

Donghyuk- XXXX, There is no way for me to know this one really. My instincts tell me INFP but I think I’m only saying that because he’s quieter than other members. He could very well be sensory.

Chanwoo- XXXX, once again there is just no way for me to know. I can count the number of times I’ve heard him talk on my hand and most of that was just him talking about how he will work hard or how he wants to be in the band. Really no indicator of his personality. I’m sure when they debut we’ll get to see him more, I’ll probably have to go back and change some of this.

If there is anyone out there that knows the members of Ikon really well, please message me with your input!! I watched WIN, Mix and Match and SMTM3 but I still feel like I only really know Bobby and BI. I really love Junhoe though so I feel like I’m right on him too. But yeah, there you have it.

They are different kinds of personality types from the Myer-briggs type indicator which is is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. In simpler words they just mean the different types of personalities the members have in accordance to a certain form of psychology. MBTI has a large online presence and it’s honestly a lot of fun. It’s just a fun way to try and understand people better. It’s like horoscopes but with a psychological background. My types are slightly different, but I think Nam and Yoon could both either be INFJ or INTJ, I’m not quite sold either way but for now I’ll just do my simple typings-

Jinwoo- INFP literally anyone can fight me on this but I am 100% sure Jinwoo is an INFP (I would accept ISFP but nothing else)

Seunghoon- ESTP

Seungyoon- INTJ

Nam- INFJ

Mino- ENFP
