Feeling emo tonight about giants being cared for by their tinies.

Tinies coaxing their giants into doing something nice for themselves when they've been doing nothing but looking out for others all day, or better yet trying to set up a little surprise treat for them if they know their giant is the type to deny themself things they enjoy.

Borrowers making a whole trip from their human's bedroom to the kitchen to grab them pain pills when they physically can't force their body out of bed to get some themselves.

Tinies trying their best to hold and comfort their giants after a rough day despite the vast difference in scale, wrapping their arms around a finger, hugging their face or letting themselves be held onto as long as their giant needs the comfort of their presence nearby.

Like it's more effort on their part than it would be in the reverse scenario - there's no doubt about it, but it's never a burden. Not when it's for someone they care about so much.

A giant parent taking their tiny kid to the park is adorable BUT reverse the roles and you got yourself an uncontrollable giant kid, that’s super hyped up to be outside, and their tiny parent holding onto their shoulder or pocket for dear life. Hilarious!

However, it is fascinating to me when the tiny parent is able to control their kid just with their words, and, even though the kid might retaliate at first, listens to them.

I mean, the amount of trust and mutual understanding that comes from both sides is something we can all learn a bit from.

Parental G/T is probably one of my favorite things, but I've noticed there's a lot more giant parent and tiny kid rather than tiny parent and giant kid. There's nothing wrong with that, both are great and I enjoy consuming content of both, but I feel like there could be more giant kid and tiny parent.

It has so much potential yet I barely see it, or maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, I dunno. Like, I think it'd be so fun watching a tiny parent figure out how the hell they're going to take care of their kid. Or, perhaps they have a giant partner who has to do majority of the work, making the smaller partner feel like they aren't a good parent. Tons of angst potential, mwahahaha. I'd love to see more of it.

personally I love the giant aspect of g/t stories when someone becomes a giant. The realization that nothing is built for them anymore, and that they have to be infinitely careful around everything. People are afraid, and they have every right to be— but it still stings that it takes ages to gain even the most basic amount of trust. That the world they knew their whole life has shunned them, and now with their size and strength it would be so easy to break.

One of my favorite aspects of g/t is the gentle testing of boundaries between the two. Especially if there is a communication barrier involved, and the giant can’t explicitly ask for consent or explain what they are doing.

The giant gently trying to test how much their tiny is okay with, while trying not to scare them in the process:

• Gently caressing their shoulder with a single finger

• Playfully poking them on their chest

• Cupping their fingers around them without fully touching

• Slowly scopping them up and lifting them closer

The whole time the giant is looking for any miniscule sign to indicate whether or not the tiny is okay with this. Waiting to see if they should stop immediately, or are good to keep going. Backing off the moment they hear a tiny whimper or yelp, or gently pushing further as they recieve no signs of protest.

Meanwhile the tiny is wracked with nerves - all they can do in this situation is hope that this giant is trustworthy, and will actually stop if they express their discomfort. They have no power to actually stop the giant if they want to pick them up, hold them, pet them, do anything they want to them. They can only hope that their boundaries will be respected.

crawls on my hands and knees. can we talk more about normal people getting isekai'd into fantasy worlds but they're giant. please. imagine some random person delivering doordash on bike through the city and then WHAM they get hit by a truck and wake up...

the size of a building?

only, there aren't buildings around. just an endless expanse of grass, and tiny trees, and various woodland creatures, and—tiny people screaming up at them. great. maybe they isolate themselves and learn how to survive on their own, ridiculously strong but soul-crushingly lonely as they become an urban legend. maybe they're mistaken for a villain, or drafted into the villain's forces, a tiny weight standing on their shoulder and whispering empty promises of being able to bring them home. maybe they land in a world where giants are commonplace, with dedicated giant hunters to boot, and they're stuck having to fend off anti-giant weapons that...aren't really effective. jeez, how'd you guys even survive this long with this equipment? what do you mean i'm the biggest giant you've ever seen? oh, well. at least some the tiny "heroes" look kind of cute, dangling as their weapons are pinched between two fingers. maybe this whole "giant" thing has some perks, after all

I'm Suprised there isn't a lot of content with the mutation potion varian used on ruddiger!

i'm just a sadist for my fav charcters but honetly I would love a fic of that potion being used on a like Varian!

the ways I could see that happen is either:

varian somehow accidentaly uses it on himself

the guard think its like a truth surem and use it on varian

varian goes full resident evil villian and during secret of the sundrop he uses it (accidenaly or on purpose) and instead of an automoton he turns into a giant mosnter

with the first two options I imagne it happening before The Alchemist Returns.

ive only found like 2 fics where Varian uses the mutation potion on himself and only in 1 does he turn into a mosnter T^T
