Her mouth twisted into a smirk to cover up the blush that threatened to splotch her cheeks. “Depending where you are on the Alignment System, you might get find out.” she teased, hoping to stimulate his intellect if he was as smart as he looked. She was always down for simple conversations, even barely spoken conversations of just a lazy time, but sometimes she liked having depth, character, and perspective into what she was talking about; something she only seemingly got when she talked to Ezra and a few others around the shop.

"Did you just make a Dungeons & Dragons reference?" Kratos let out a chuckle, their conversation momentarily put on pause as their food came out. "Yes, but I don't play it, I apply the other version of it other places. You just revealed a bit about yourself, though." another laugh left him, something he seemingly couldn't stop doing with the woman. "I guess I did, and before you go anywhere with it - yes. Quite avidly, but not lately." popping the top off the wine bottle, he poured a generous amount in each of their glasses before re-corking and setting the bottle aside.

Giving a gracious smile back, she bit down on her lip as she secured the order she wanted in her mind before looking back up at the expectant waiter. “I think I’ll have Crêpe au Fromage de Chèvre and Poulet à la Provençale… I think.” the waiter gave an encouraging nod, her thankful that he picked up on her questioning tone as to if she pronounced what she wanted near right. She was impressed as she heard Kratos order his meal, near fluent of the language that was very foreign to her; at least it sounded near perfect - confidence is key sometimes. “I tried, therefore I shouldn’t be judged too harshly! I go through a lesson just trying to order a fancy crêpe and dressed-up chicken.” she joked as the waiter walked away towards the kitchens.

"I think you did just fine; french isn't an easy tongue to master, I only know what I learned in high-school and you pretty much can pronounce everything after basics - even if you don't really know what you're saying." Kratos chuckled as he folded his hands together. "I'm very masterful with my own tongue, but I don't think I can go anywhere near french." Kratos couldn't help when he cracked out into a full laugh at the woman's comment. "I'm sure you are." he gave a wink. He found Marilyn to be very alluring and mysterious yet simple, baffled at how a combination could exist in a single elegant human.

“Damn, I was hoping you wouldn’t of caught that. Yeah, I seen you the day I got here. I was taking a break from unpacking and you were getting a Café Bombón from the place near the lobby- and I feel like quite the creep right about now.” Marilyn laughed nervously, part of her face in her hand. “Anyways, I know all about relationship problems.” sitting up better, she looked over the menu as she spoke. “Two of my past had a knack for stalking me when I lived back in the states.”

"Not that creepy at all, actually. You pay attention to detail is all, not like you were digging around for private information or Googling every possible thing about me. I have encountered creepy, and you are nowhere close." he reassured the woman, scanning through his menu as well. "While I partially don't blame them for wanting to keep you, I don't condone stalking; it leads to a lot of crazy things - things I would know of well." Kratos shook his head at the memories of a certain psychotic ex-girlfriend. "Are we ready to order?" he heard the voice of the waiter. "Ladies first." he looked over to Marilyn with a kind smile.

“Well if you aren’t a smooth talker.” Marilyn smirked up at the man, thanking her stars that she picked out a seemingly good one this time - unlike her past beaus. “I’m Marilyn, thank you for agreeing to this,” she motioned around with her hands. “I express interest and suddenly my friend wants to set things up, so I just let it go with the wind.” she chuckled, hiding a bit of the embarrassment in the semi-confession, hoping he didn’t look into the beginning of her statement and find her to be someone he didn’t want to mix himself with.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful lady." he complimented as he took his seat across the table, sliding the menus apart and handing one to Marilyn. "I will admit, I'm not really into the whole dating scene - at least of the sporadic kind. To be honest, I've had quite a few issues with my confidence since my last relationship about a few years ago. You can't really so no to Ezra though, can you?" he joked, trying to shake the nerves he suddenly sprouted. "Interest? Oh please do tell me more about that."

Sitting patiently, Marilyn tapped her fingers idly on the table she was seated at. The waiters that passed by her casting various glances; some worried, some sympathetic, some interested. She smirked to herself about the last one, ignored the second, and tried not to be with them about the first. She usually didn’t worry about dates, she knew how to turn a night around if she got stood up, but good portion of her wanted the man to show up. Looking up at the clock she seen she had nothing to be worried about. She was the one that had shown up a tad bit too early than she should of, but it didn’t stop her impatient mind.

Arriving in front of the restaurant, he seen the bright sign that lit up with the words 'Bellevue Rendezvous'. Making his entrance he was greeted with the aromatic scent of french-style food wafting around. "Hello, two for Salvaterra." he greeted to the Maitre d', a warm smile in place. "Yes, right this way. Your date has been waiting." a curious brow rose as he followed the man, impressed that the woman seemed to know enough about him - he should of read into when Ezra said "a blind date of sorts". He was pleasantly surprised when he was led to a table that seated a lone but gorgeous woman. He gave a gracious nod to the Maitre d' who sauntered back to his position. "I'm Kratos, though I assume you already know that; and if I must say, you are simply ravishing." he took the woman's hand in his grasp, placing a simple kiss to the back of it.

Adjusting his tie, Kratos looked in the mirror once again. He really wasn't one for blind dates, but he figured if he was on vacation then why not be a little sporadic. If he was going to go on one of these then he was going to at least try to make a good impression. Grabbing the comb from the counter he ran it through his gelled hair a few more times before deciding he was groomed up enough to leave. Looking at his watch as he made his way out of the building he seen that he would have just the right amount of time to take his time in walking there - opting out on taking one of the caddies, wanting to take in the beautiful night.

You will love her! Trust me, she’s fabulous! Before I forget you need to be at Bellevue Rendezvous 8 o’ clock and don’t be late.

Alright, sounds like a plan. I guess I can take the lyrics literal of "wake up, grab a brush and put a little make-up"; well, minus the make-up. More in sense of getting ready, but now I'm just rambling at this point.

Not usually one for them, but I have yet to see an unsightly thing here and you seem to be a man of good taste and judgement. So sure, why not.

Not at all, actually. I'd say that the near coma has been the only thing I've done other than scamper about the resort quietly. Why, what's up?

Didn't even get to say Hi before I had to play dress up. Anyways, i'm Kratos. Yes, like the video game but more after the actual son of Pallas and Styx. My parents are weirdos.
