BANDITBORN
Bandit smirked proudly at the sight of the other devouring the meat. He seemed pleased that his meal was able to satisfy someone who appeared as picky as this one. And once he got the question, the old wolf rose his chin a little, teeth bared as his smirk grew. “Told ya, it’s the marinade. That’s a secret recipe though, so if ya want more of it, ya gotta come over more often.”
Which was also another way to make customers return to the pub.
He wasn’t even a great cook and only got buy with the help of pack members that actually could cook. So when he learned how to prepare the marinade, Bandit would never stop bragging with it.
“Also we wolves are kinda good with meat. I mean, it’s what we eat the most.” He reached for his whiskey to take a swig before refilling the other man’s glass.
“Feelin’ better now?” Perhaps it was the hunger that made the other appear so cranky, Bandit certainly would understand. He wasn’t the easiest to get along with when he was hungry.
A motion of eyes rolling could be seen from the ghoul upon the words. He did not make any effort to hide his displeasure, though it slightly did lower his brightened mood. Does he really have to come here again just to eat any foods that this man make? A question arose, turning his expression into a sour one. Yet, the moment his sable eyes landed on the halfway-finish food in front of him, his rationality was kicked out from his mind as he continues savoring the meal. Thinking how he wishes for the time to freeze so he could take the fullest moment to consume his meal.
“Fine,” letting out a low grumble, he mumbled a curse to himself under his breath. How come he becomes like a damn slave simply by eating this food produced by this man?
He blinked at the mention of ‘wolves’, so that explained why this person hold hostility toward those bloodsuckers. He was deep in his thought when the other asked an unanticipated question, pulling his attention before looking at the other. “Y... yeah. I guess,” he stuttered his words in confusion. Speaking of meat, it won’t hurt him if he queries something that been bugging him, right?
“Not sure if you know this. I’m a ghoul, I don’t have the sense to differentiate between meats cause they all taste the same. Hmm... So, uh, what kind of meat did you use?” Or is it still consider confidential?
SHACKLEDSCULS
Ryoto gave a faint slump of his shoulders. First, Cedric, now this person…What was it with other supernaturals calling him ‘dear’ or ‘darling’? Ah well, he supposed it’d have to be something he’d just have to get used to. It wasn’t as if he could stop them anyhow. Then again, he assumed that this was the only time he’d have to work with them.
“I’m aware of you. Marcus Hayes. I’m also aware of my title, some days, i feel like it’s caused more trouble for me than it’s worth. Considering the situation it’s gotten me into. Either way, I’m the scout for this whole thing. Then again, it’s not like we need to be quiet about it.”
Ryoto could just place a glamour over the guards, get them to kill the target themselves. Though he supposes he could take his sister’s approach and take them out himself. He did have some frustration he needed to work out.
It was indistinct, but the vampire could sense the tense reaction upon his words. Yet, he did not say anything, only his eyes settled on the other as if the man was just a prey, akin to how a predator watching every move of their victim. Maintaining a friendly smile, locking his eyes with the others as faint chuckles vibrated at the back of his throat, “It seems you truly did live up to your name. How helpful you will be.”
“You do not have to think that way, dear. I assure you, even if you no longer held such a title, as long as you keep your job, trouble will always follow you around,” it was a genuine response, he had been working as an assassin, no matter what he did, it always brought harm more than good. Though, he did prefer the thrill that comes with it.
Taking time to secure his black rifle case firmly. Still, he was not certain if it was needed for this mission since he could simply use the blood control to hunt down, “Alright. Let's begin. We should not let our target wait for us any longer,” a hint of sarcastic in his tone before the sound of a giggle took place.
SANGCIENUS
So this is how it would be. His lie so easily seen through and discarded. It didn’t help that this person clearly was similar to himself, but a lie about being sick with no retching noises surely added into it. How irritating, but maybe it would be easy to just walk off, pass the cleanup onto the one that was targeting the body instead of himself.
❝Assume what you will but I did not use my hands. No, all they’re doing is collecting the price that must be paid by those that fall into this situation. While I prefer my hands in killing sometimes you just need to take a bite out of them instead.❞
In all truth, the vampire did not care whether the individual who he pursued ended up dead or treated horribly in the hand of the other. He simply dislikes the idea something that supposedly relates to him was taken without his knowledge. But soon his thought was dismissed upon the man’s statement. Only his eyes scanning the individual before him, something told him that there was more than what was appeared, though he did not let it bother him. Instead, Marcus approached the other, without any precaution, thinking nothing could frighten or make him feel alarmed.
“I suppose I was wrong and for that, I truly beg your pardon for my previous rude remark. I hope you won’t let it be the reason for you to hold a grudge,” he softly laughed before fearlessly confronting the other, “But you see, I was told to bring this human back, alive. Then how should I report this? “
BCLASAEG
// “ Certainly. There’s still the special ‘pork’ you brought left over, I’ll put that into your meal. I’ve soft chicken cartilage as the dish of the day, I’ll just throw it in no charge. ” He left a refreshing glass of plum wine this time around upon sensing his stress. It wasn’t particularly busy tonight, a young couple and a lone diner sat close by.
Yuu didn’t really say much when he served the first course, needing to leave immediately to the kitchen to prepare the next one. Within 15 minutes, he placed a plate in front of the other, pairing it with a smile. “ Thank you for waiting. I hope it tastes good. ”
Shoulders raised at the mention of the so-called 'pork', a confused look temporarily painted his features before realizing he did brought one. Giving a nod of acknowledgement to the other while his eyes settled on the glass offered to him. Breathing in the familiar inviting scent, a distinct tender smile unconsciously plastered his lips. He knew this man understood how stress he was. This was the very reason why he always found his way and made an appearance here. Everything about this shop gave him a comfortable feeling.
He was on his phone when his sight greeted by freshly cooked meal, although as a ghoul there was no need for him to eat similar to how mundane would since he can simply eat raw, uncooked meat. Somehow whatever this man did to the food, it came out tasty compare to other shops he went to. “Yeah, it does,” due to how bad his communication was, and added with his prideful personality, he had a hard time and could only utter no more than three words to show his appreciation.
“Do you need more? You know, considering you just finish in using up the latest meat I brought. I can bring you another one next time I come here. Of course, I will pay you at a reasonable price.”
LNURED
dmitriy could tell how much agony the other was in, and having done all he could, he could only hope it was enough. his arms were bleeding, red crescents marking his skin, but at the moment he wasn’t feeling much of it, only hastily wiping them clean before returning to tending to marcus. he realised his heart was still pounding from the instant they ran into each other, it wasn’t the vampire’s fate to die, whatever he had done to deserve such suffering. definitely the work of hunters; dmitriy hoped they had already lost track of them.
there was also a slight tremble to his movements; he was at a loss of what to do. he only looked up when he felt the other wrap his fingers around his own in a tight grasp, golden eyes meeting crimson ones. the expression made his heart clench. was he cold ? the werewolf carefully shifted him, wary of the bandages, into his lap, and wrapped his arms around him. anything to make marcus feel better.
Besides all the shock and agony that his body enduring at the moment, he did not let his consciousness fade away into the darkness. At least, he was trying with every effort and strength not to. He was struggling not to let his emotions to overcome him, as he did not want to appear weak in front of the werewolf, though it already did. Sensing his weak body pulled into an embrace as a warmth coming from the others as it meddles inside his cold body, stabilizing his temperature, although it did not produce a significant result, it did comfort him.
It took a while for him to respond, and the only sound left his mouth was a soft sign. It was not the one to mock the man’s action, but more like him surrendering. He did not hesitate to nudge against the warm body, brushing his features. The vampire did not speak any word. He stayed still, completely motionless as his mind only focusing on appreciating the quietness and warmness.
When he was hit by an abrupt realization, sharply lifted his head as his daze stare clashed with the golden hues, “D-Did you see t-them?” his voice was broken and dry, sounding dehydrated from all the running he had. Pale face wrinkled as he gripped the man’s long fingers, his expression shifted into a worried look, “Dmitriy, p-please tell me. D... did you already making sure you did not l.... leave behind any trace before bringing me here?”
PARASITIC-THOUGHTS
Tight. Too tight. Too close. He froze in place when he caught the others eyes. A second feeling like an eternity, it felt like the vampire was seeing through him, right into his soul. The charming smile that drew him in didn’t feel relaxing at all anymore. Deceiving. It felt dangerous more than anything. Throat dry, it hurt to breathe, to swallow. “ Don’t…” It felt like his world was collapsing on itself. Trembling hands weakly trying to push the other away by his shoulders, to no avail. Of course it was true. But Kai could not, or maybe just did not want to comprehend the situations. Vampires, ghouls and monsters were not supposed to be real. People promised him they were not real, that his fear was irrational. But here he was. Letting out a soft gasp, whining quietly he turned his head away, closing his eyes. He could not stop trembling, feeling the unwanted caress up his arm. Shivers up his spine, unused to anyone touching him without him moving them. It was hard to breathe, hard to speak. But he tried anyway. A hopeless attempt at pleading for an escape. Marcus did ask after all, didn’t he? “ Let… Let me go…? Please… ” The grip on the other tightened, his heart beating so hard it felt it was going to explode out of his chest when he felt the face on it. Breath hitched, tears rolling down his cheeks. “ I don’t wanna… I don’t wanna break… This… It wasn’t… supposed to go… like this. I’m sorry. ”
Nothing could brighten his spirit more than getting a mere human’s mentality shattered under his subtle torment. How many times did he watch this sight? Who knows, truthfully, he had lost count on how many times he had ruin those who unluckily run into his path, hence turning them into his prey. Driving them to have a devastating sensation, having no will to continue alive and only wish to end their life rather early. Every time he recalled those moments, there always be an adrenaline rush.
At the last sentence, his crimson irises widened as a fake gasp slipped through his throat and escape between his canine teeth. “That won’t do it, dear,” taking the advantage on how vulnerable the human currently in, making an order gesture, the red fluid oozing from the scar and unhealed wounds he did before it wrapped the body and solidified to restrict the male’s movement. “Oh, my. Did I make a mistake? Isn’t this what you desired?” a rose of eyebrows as he intensely stared at the pale features due to the sudden loss of blood.
“Tell me. If it’s not this way, then how should it supposed to be?” releasing his hold, he was not worried if the other fled since he was aware unless this human has some sort of supernatural ability, the dream of unwrapping the blood from the small frame was impossible. Seeing how frightened the man was, frozen hands cupping Kai’s face before laying his digits over the damp right check, “What are you so afraid of?” swaying his head side to side, he gave a cunning smirk while wiping off the tears. "Ah, should I guess that our positions are incorrect and it thought to be the other way around?"

so someone else had had the gut to tell him that in the face … was what kai thought, oblivious to what marcus had been thinking about him, only to be caught a little bewildered and lost at the sudden fit of laughter. did he say something wrong ?
“ but - doesn’t that mean this krost has already had his share of, well, suffering ? ” he didn’t realise how close to the truth he was. “ trust me, it’ll all come back to bite you in the ass. karma, stuff like that. ”
Every reaction he perceived only tickled the vampire, it was amusing for one to realize how twisted and inconsiderable he was toward those he knows of. It was not a new occasion to him and he would not let it trouble him. “Then I would gladly let it come.” He did not believe in karma, nor does he ever think his action might lead to a bad consequence. As far as he was aware of, he did not have any that adequate for him to feel repentant toward his immoral doings.
“Aren’t you overly concerned with someone you barely know, dear?” eyeing the other, adding chuckles at the end. Marcus elegantly took a sip of his drink before grinning at the man with attentive, “It sounds like you had experienced it before. Am I right?”
AMUTUYI
IF THE OTHER THOUGHT THAT he would be caught easily then the other had another thing coming. The spirit was both lightning and a ferret; able to wiggle out of grasps and deliver a painful bite if he had to, not to mention that he was as fast as the wind.
Location was indeed found out, blue eyes never leaving the other for more than a moment, just enough to watch that the being smelling of blood did not get too close. Intent was not dangerous, no harm was meant to come to the other in the first place.
“ Most people would not notice, ” he was not exactly alive anymore after all, “ Some people cannot even see me if I am standing in front of them. ” Spirit blind people that was.
From the moment the other slipped past through the distorted blood that forming into a long thread aiming to catch with no intention of giving time to react, his fixed stare trailing the figure. Despite the attempt was a failure, he did not display his disappointment on his features, instead, remain composed while red-tinted lips tugged upward, creating a grin. It appears this individual was not something he should look down onto. It was refreshing for him to see a being successfully evade the assault, as it was a rather rare sight for him.
“Ah, I suppose I should take it as a compliment,” he offered soft chuckles, “That’s quite unfortunate. You see, I do not favor being compared. For you to said that, it’s truly insulting me,” not caring if what he did next might injure the other, he inaudibly ordered the red blood to form into a cobweb cage, trapping him and the other, “You pique my interest, dear. Should I harm you first before you finally decide it’s best to give your reasons?”
WHISPERONN
Proof. That was easier SAID than DONE. He wanted evidence but how was he supposed to give him anything viable when he hadn’t even a sliver of trust in him to let him move around? It was almost laughable how wired this man was—so strung on something that Oslyeus couldn’t see. If he was to compare this stranger to anything, it was like having stepped into a wolf’s den and all he was looking for was a place to sleep. Rationality was almost absent but it was the smidgen of uncertainty that seemed to be what kept him alive, breathing. There was enough hesitation that Oslyeus hadn’t yet heard the click of the gun and the world hadn’t yet swept with blackness. He was alive but why? Why was he hesitating? Oslyeus already made it clear that he was done feeding into this game where he only said the truth and was bitterly smothered with protests. He would much rather bite the bullet than play hostage anymore. All he could do was grimace as his captor applied pressure and snarled at him to spew something more. What he didn’t know was that they weren’t alone—not until his perpetrator’s attention flickered away from him. He felt the glaring tension sweep briefly apart from him and to the buildings in their immediate area. Blinking back to attentiveness, he straightened only slightly or as much as his detainer would let him. Eyes flit around the scene before catching the glint of metal in a faraway window. “–!” He hadn’t enough time to say anything over his subduer. All he could do was channel his energy, all of it into his calves and feet, digging his heels into the ground—he thrust all his weight and force into the man behind him. The amount of strength applied was enough to parry a demon but that wasn’t Oslyeus’ intentions to reveal that he had the power to retaliate. Just narrowly, a dart skimmed his shoulder and ripped a new tear onto his already tattered sweater. Blood dotted his clothes but the amount of curious liquid hadn’t injected into him, rather it lay splattered on the concrete in the mess of shattered glass.
“—we’ve to get out of here…!” He suddenly was in a frenzy, writhing to free himself from his holder. He didn’t just try to wiggle his arms free, his whole body was in motion—like a feral feline thrashing to escape the noose of some ‘nappers. Fear traced through his eyes like wildfire, he wasn’t as invincible as one might have thought but it wasn’t his capturer that had him panicking.“Let go–! You’ve to just TRUST me! Please—” words were thrown in his struggle, the longer he held on the more Oslyeus began to distort his limbs just to escape. He would break the rest of his bones if it meant escaping those looking from afar. “—they’re not my friends!”
Unforeseen. It was too sudden for the ghoul to pick up on what was happening. Fetid body stunned for a second, no movements could be detected and only his shocked stare fixed on the newly torn sweater from the out of nowhere dart glided across the other’s shoulder. It was too fast and abrupt for him to sense for its upcoming. Feeling something suck in his throat and for a while, nothing could catch his focus. It was as if his mind went blank upon the event taking place before him.
When a concerned voice of the male hit his eardrum, the raven lifted his head away from the shoulder and locked his eyes with the others. Face creased when realizing how deadly the situation had become. Sniffing the metallic scent coming from the man, he gulped down his accumulated nervous. It was clear the invaders from the distance were not together with this person, who he still has a firm hold of the other’s wrist. His instinct told him that whoever these intruders were, did not bring any good feeling. Though, somehow watching them, for an odd reason, an image of past flash through his mind, reminding him of the moment when he was a youth.
Clicking his tongue, stress clouded his expression as he unconsciously stiffened the iron grip of the other while his view remained fix toward the possible threats. Part of him wanted to believe every word coming from the other, considering how serious the tone was, but his pride would not let him, thinking that what if this was an act to turn him in and thus confining him while in a defenseless state? He would not ever give them any chance for it to take place.
“T... Trust you? Do you think I would believe you after what you did? You seem to know them well. Why don’t you start speaking... who are they... and why does it look like they are after you?” Krost frowned, huffing out a tense breath as he narrowed his charcoal hues at the intruders, not letting his eyes stray away from them. Why does he have a gut feeling that these people are not something he should be messed with? Something definitely off.
Sensing as a cold, dead chill spreading throughout his whole injured frame, a slight took of a forward step while still insisting on not allowing the other escape from his grasp, “You...” he loudly voiced out a word and, without any delay, he directed his handgun toward one direction, across them. Although it was dim, he somehow able to make out the shadowy figures, “Why don’t you guys just scram. This is between me and him.” While strengthening his focus, his eyes darting around, he needed to find a way to secure an escape route. It was rather evident he could not fight against that many opponents.
