I can't remember where I saw this but I saw a post once of a bunch of moms bitching about how their daughters were starting to gravitate towards the color pink and Disney princesses. They are not letting their kids decide who they want to be. They are forcing them. This is why I'm so against giving children puberty blockers and letting kids be trans.

You know what? I’m tired of media thinking that only women get raped.

Men do too. Little boys get raped by older women and older men. Teenage guys are taken advantage of almost every day. Trans guys are treated like sex toys without consent.

Every type of gender gets raped. It doesn’t matter if you’re non-binary, female, male or whatever. Someone of your gender has been raped before.

I want people to notice that not only females get raped. Males do too. Non-binaries do too. Trans people do too. Every gender out there does too.

Maybe we should stop trying to just protect the women and the girls. Maybe we should start trying to protect all genders.

We hear on the daily about how people protest against women getting raped and it being their fault because they were dressed “inappropriately”. How people don’t agree and how women should dress how they want to.

What we don’t hear is people protesting against men getting raped and it being their fault because they weren’t “manly” enough to fight back. What we don’t hear is protests against non-binaries getting raped and it being their fault because their gender wasn’t “clear enough” or they “looked too much like woman” or “looked too much like a man”. What we don’t hear is protests against trans people getting raped and it being their fault cause they “decided to become a woman/man so they have to face the consequences”.

Maybe we should start trying.
