Here is how to use neopronouns since it is kinda/very confusing.
Neopronouns are any pronouns that are not typical or are no longer typical in the English language.
Some neopronouns are noun based example Star/Starself noun based neopronouns are kinda like nicknames but when grammatically themself/himself/herself would be used you would say the noun self. Here is an example Moon uses starself pronouns. Moon likes fishing but only by starself. Moon lost star’s jacket and asked me to help find it.
If the neopronoun is not noun based it’s a bit easier. Because the sentence structure is almost the same. For example I use thon/thons/thonself. My internet nickname is Moth. Moth loves embroidery thon wants to show you thons latest project. Moth is very proud of thonself.
I genuinely hope this helps y’all
If you are not used to something it makes sense it’s difficult. It’s okay if you mess up on someone’s neopronouns. You are trying and I know when people try to use neopronouns for me it makes me so happy even if/when the other person/people mess up. If you are unsure about someone’s pronouns please ask. A slightly uncomfortable interaction is always better than offending someone by misgendering them over and over again. Also asking someone’s pronouns then telling this person your own pronouns shows them you are not transphobic and you are trying to be kind and polite.
