Literally just occurred to me how many of the Tin Woodman's day-to-day problems would be solved if he just wore clothes.

"Oh no, water's got onto my joints and I've rusted!" Waterproof clothes.

"I've fallen and my tin's dented!" Clothes would cushion the fall.

"I can't hug people too hard lest I hurt them!" Soft clothes.

Just realised I've not shared this on tumblr as of yet, so here you go:

Currently there's a Mega folder (linked below) in the process of being made with a bunch of Withnail and I-related material, including the official soundtrack, extra clips, and commentaries (provided by the wonderful @osusome-art). There's also a couple of dubbed versions linked on there too!

The aim of the folder is to have a comprehensive list of all the media related to the film so it can be easily accessed by everyone.

Alas I can't make it so people can add the stuff they've found (luckily I can share the link though), so if you want me to add anything, please let me know! :D

So interesting thing I noticed when rewatching Smells Like Trouble: it looks like Evelyn may be able to compel people (or at least Benny) to tell the truth similar to how Stern did. I noticed she did this thing where she pointed two fingers at Benny and that’s when he told her what he’d done.

What’s interesting is look at Benny’s reaction here:

Compare it to when Stern begins to spell him:

It might just be that he’s looking at the finger(s) pointed at the center of his head, but it is an interesting coincidence.

The thing that did convince me that this might be a power is the change in the score right before Evelyn does it:

It goes from lighter to something more mystical. Like the sound effect or underscoring that would go with someone using some kind of magic power.

Either way, not entirely sure if this is just me reading into things or if this is an actual power of Evelyn’s, but I thought it was an interesting thing to note.
