if u were a huge asshole as a kid. and u still feel guilty over it. especially with tumblr's evil bullshit moral stance that you can never be forgiven for cruelty you've done in the past - even as a kid - bc "omg *i* knew better as a kid, you were being bad as a kid bc you're just a bad person" - it is literally just Not True. you do not have to hold the weight your guilt for the rest of your life. the person you are & the way you choose to act Now is the only indicator of whether you are a "good" person or not. if you understand the mistakes you made & choose to be compassionate & kind instead, there is no need to feel like you've lacked absolution - you find it for yourself in your growth into the person you want to be

A lot of people always ask why someone would ship SNS. And the answer is simple: Sasuke loves Naruto. Naruto loves Sasuke. THE ENTIRE SERIES IS ABOUT THAT. Two guys trying to deny their feelings at first. Naruto is the first to realize that without Sasuke, his world feels incomplete. You can read the manga to confirm this. They’re the embodiment of what it means to feel understood when everyone else rejects you. And it’s not superficial. Their story is full of emotion, betrayal, and loneliness. They grew up in a hostile world that treated them more like tools than human beings. It’s really rare to find someone who understands you on such a deep level, and that’s exactly what happened between Sasuke and Naruto. For Naruto, Sasuke was a goal, a rival, a source of motivation. For Sasuke, Naruto was a rival, a sun that brightened his dark days, and probably the love of his life. But in the ninja world, none of that really mattered. That’s why it’s so heartbreaking to watch their feelings grow to the point where they lose control. SNS isn’t about Sasuke deserving Naruto’s love. SNS isn’t about Sasuke being the perfect villain that everyone loves. SNS is about Sasuke finally realizing that Naruto loves him unconditionally, flaws and all. After all the tears, rejection, and doubt, Sasuke understands that loving someone doesn’t make him weak You can tell me they’re brothers, friends, or whatever. I don’t care. That level of intensity between two characters is typical in tragic love stories. It’s not that hard to understand
