Lucifer is always depicted as young when he’s shown in art as a fallen angel. I think this is wrong. He did not rebel against his beloved maker out of youthful defiance; no, he was there long enough to watch God lose his mind. He sat as he listened to him ramble about thwarting himself to his other son, Micheal, who fed into his delusions out of misguided love. He watched as his Father created humans and planned the stages of their suffering. I’m sure he stayed for a minute, trying to ignore what he was witnessing, before finally admitting to himself that the Old God had gone insane. With ancient weariness did he first approach God, gently asking if he could talk about the problems he was seeing. With brand new rage was he met. His own brother helped God to cast him away. I’m sure the younger, newer angels still chatter among themselves when they see the battle torn and elderly Lucifer walk amongst man in drudgery, wondering why on earth he would hate their God so, and why he’d dare to leave it all behind. I’m sure he only sighs and shakes his head, knowing that nothing he says could change their minds or make them see. No, Lucifer did not rebel, he intervened

Lucifer's loving aspect isn't talked about enough.

I associate him a lot with pink, white and golden. And with beauty, self-love, love in general. Maybe his Infernal aspects are more famous or some people think that this loving Lucifer cannot coexist with the King Lucifer, gatekeeper of the abyss. But he does. He's a multifaceted deity.

He's got more in common with Venus than Pluto.

I picture him as a very feminine/androgynous god. He's got such a beautiful masculinity.

Yes, I can testify that his anger is fucking terrifying but even then, getting on that side of him is HARD. He's a negotiator, a pacifist before a warrior. His intelligence is one of his greatest virtues. Now, that doesn't mean he can't be violent or even cruel, I've seen that part of him, but that's not the point.

The point is that Love is one of his more prominent domains and devotees of him should know that they can seek that kind of aid within him. He teaches you how to love and how to coexist with the world through love. Love is so complex, it comes in many ways. It doesn't have to be romantic, sometimes love is watching birds drinking the flowers' wine.

And, sometimes, defying life itself in order to live freely.

Lucifer is love.
