Sang-ho sat in his office quite pleased with himself. He'd taken a rare few weeks off for himself after securing his promotion to Chief of Staff. Why not? There weren't any events in the works and he deserved the chance to celebrate his win he'd worked hard for. It helped too that Merek Hopper chose to leave and ultimately wind up a slave in the Undercroft, thus securing the position for himself. Sang-ho wouldn't make that same mistake as his predecessor knowing he'd lose any semblance of safety the second he permanently left Krovs. He hated being collared as it was, but minimal power was better than none.

He looked up at his latest visitor whom he assumed was someone here to either ask something of him, complain, or –– least expected option –– welcome him back and properly congratulate him. That well-practiced smile spread over his features. "How can I help you today?"

There was only a low hum of voices now as the slaves still down with him settled down. It must be getting late by the way they reacted which the reaper found interesting. Though he never grew tired in the same way as the beings around him, never had a need for it. Suppose that came with the ghost he used to be there was no such feeling nor as the reaper he is now. He's standing, leaning up against a wall with a small book he found on the floor not far from where he was standing. "Curious how you got here." He said to no one in particular, mostly aiming the question to himself. He hadn't been in the castle long enough to know the ins and outs just yet. No doubt he will be learning much more about the place in the days that followed.

Henri just rolled through the doors of the castle when his phone rang. He smiled ruefully as he pulled his iPhone out of his pocket and checked the caller. Seemed even his vacation wouldn't stop work from interfering. Course he expected that. He dropped his bags on the ground out of the way of traffic and stepped away from it to take the call in a quieter corner. These halls still echoed and the ahool's hearing easily picked up footsteps before he turned back to his luggage.

"Don't touch that," he called out, tone firm yet gentle as he lowered his phone some to mute himself. "You won't find anything of interest in there anyway." Henri, ever the hoarder of a dragon, always ensured his most valuable items were in a locked suitcase he'd already sent here ahead of time and was waiting in his designated suite. Benefits of being a frequent visitor of Krovs and the fledgling of Sweden's councilman, he supposed.

One of the last places that Mordecai had ever planned on visiting again was Krovs Castle. It wasn't as if the place held particularly good memories for him, indeed carrying mostly bad ones, but he'd been drawn back for a number of reasons. One of those was admittedly curiosity about how things would go now that he was a master and another one was that he knew Everett was there and it had been awhile since he'd last seen his sire.

The vampire had just arrived at the castle, walking slightly behind the men who were carrying in his luggage. Mordecai winced when the man nearest him nearly dropped one of the suitcases "Can you please be a little more careful with that?" He asked, his entire attention focused on the staff member and, as a result, he very nearly collided with someone else in the entryway. "Oh! I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there."

Though the office had only been occupied for a short while he had made it more of his own. Some would think it dark, yet the ghoul found pleasure in the knickknacks he had strewn around. Trophies he'd collected over his long life before and after his ascension into vampirehood. He was fidgeting with some items on his desk when there was someone at the door, a knock before the large wooden door swung open. He shifted so he was sitting just off the edge, his desk ornate and large to accomodate his stature while holding up. "Ah, my first visitor." He cheerfully said, waiting for his guest to come from around the door.

Since being moved into the dormitory, Zane tried to keep to himself. He was used to being able to shift into his fox form whenever he felt anxious like this, and get small enough to keep himself hidden. Here, everything felt very exposed in a way that he wasn't used to. Zane was used to being the one behind the camera, the watcher instead of being watched.

He found a book that looked interesting from one of the shelves and took a seat in the corner of the common room. It was hard to concentrate on the words but Zane did his best. That is until he felt someone walk up towards him. Chancing a glance upwards, the shapeshifter blinked at the man who approached. "Um can I help you?"

"I think that's a stupid idea." It was said as though it was such an obvious thing to know. The spell on him made it impossible to keep whatever thought he had stay in his head. He knew it was only a matter of time before it landed him somewhere he didn't want to be. "You really shouldn't have wasted your energy asking me that, you know?" He frowns, if he had a way to keep his mouth shut he would have. He was a perpetual talker even before he was cursed with funky magic, this just made it all the worse for him. He ran a hand through his hair as an attempt to try to keep himself from talking further.

Sitting on the cot that a guard had pushed him toward after being escorted to the Undercroft, it was pretty damn safe to assume that Brendan was feeling overwhelmed. Not really by his situation -- he'd been at another place just like this before, just a bit tinier than the castle and he felt he was familiar enough with what this shit meant by now -- but there seemed to be a hell of a lot of chaos going on around him as soon as he stepped into the place. It almost made him miss where he'd been enslaved before.

One of the other slaves had explained that it was something called "Spring Mischief" that apparently was a thing in Krovs. It sounded like it could be fun, though some of the spells the guy had listed off had made Brendan mentally wince. He'd been hit with something shortly after arriving, though he wasn't entirely sure what it was. One of his hands moved up to absently tug at the collar around his neck, the human's gaze being drawn to someone obscenely well endowed strutting passed him in full on bondage gear.

"Jesus. Just my luck that they dropped me in here right now."

It had been awhile since Jinu had enough free time to wander the castle grounds with how busy his schedule had been as of late but his workload had lessened as of late and the councilman quickly took the opportunity to leave his office and stretch his legs. His hands stuffed into his pockets as he ventured outside and turned his gaze up towards the sky, watching as the rain pelted the umbrella he was holding over his head, his lips curling into a lazy smirk. "Can I help you?" He called out to the unseen person.

Gideon was on a fairly good streak, though gambling was not one of the hobbies he usually took up, Poker required a steady hand and a straight face. Something Gideon could do for days on end if lost in thought, so poker wasn't so terribly hard and others were so often easy to read. A furrow of the brow, a biting of the lips. The smaller micromovements of the face giving weigh to the turmoil of decision underneath. But Gideon, with a straight flush in his hand, merely gave a small grin. "Your turn."

Kolter found himself wandering the castle with no particular direction he wanted to go in. With the festivities he was left with plenty of options to choose from. Which was a problem it left him trying to figure out what option would be the best. He did manage to grab himself something to drink which he hoped would help in his conundrum. As he walked he left the game room to stand out into the hallway. Choosing to lean up against the nearest wall as he enjoyed his drink while watching as people walked on by. Taking the time to look at all the outfits that was being worn, picking which were his favorites and which weren't. "That wasn't a good choice." He said to himself unaware of anyone around him to hear.

The undercroft was surprisingly quiet which was a rare occurrence for the place. It did not go unnoticed by the dragon as he took the opportunity while he had it to enjoy it. He hadn't heard such quiet since his time upon the mountain a luxury he sorely missed. When he had the chance he always went after moments he could spend on his own. Away from prying eyes with equally prying hands. Keeping himself as unseen as he can was always something he aimed for. Even if his attempts wound up in vain as it seemed to be now. "You gonna say something or keep staring?" Came his grumble, annoyance clear as he directed his words at the onlooker. He hadn't even open his eyes to see who it was nor did he care to.

The castle looked much the same as it had when he left some years back. Having been called back to his home to deal with issues that arose. They always seemed to arise while he was away, as the mouse would while the cat was gone. With his return he found himself in the very place he liked the most, the game room. Sat at the bar he watched over the game floor as a few others played the games. He was no gambler by default having become far too aware of how the games were won. He prefered to watch anyhow, to look at the players closely as they played.

"You've joined me at an opportune moment." He said over the cold glass he held just in front of his mouth. "The big one is about to go all in, a marvelously idiotic decision." He mused to whoever had just joined him too engrossed into the game to even spare a glance.

It had only been a few short hours since Merek had woken up in the Undercroft, heavily in denial about what was happening to him. At first, he'd thought it was some kind of ridiculous joke that the guards or a master were playing on him. There was no way that he'd been betrayed like this, but it hadn't taken long at all for him to realize the truth. Money had apparently meant more than whatever friendship he thought he might have had with the hunter he'd been travelling with. It shouldn't have been a surprise, but it was.

Instead of being given time to nurse his wounds, Merek was handed an outfit he'd be expected to wear for the New Years party. It was tame compared to what he saw some of the others wearing so he couldn't complain, so he obediently put it on and let himself be marched on down to the town. As soon as they reached their destination, the pyromancer quickly left the group to head into Euphoria, beelining for the bar and giving the man serving drinks a strained smile. "Hello, darling. Could you give me the strongest drink that you serve here, please? Much appreciated."

Gideon didn't feel much like celebrating but alas, he showed face upon his return to the castle. If he had his way he would be back in Israel taking out those in charge of the humans, those being careless and reckless, and frankly inhumane. But he needed out of the environment, the wear and weight of those choices settling on him like a fucking brick. Gideon was always quiet. Always reserved, but something was different now. Angry, simmering under the surface of it all. So as someone approached as he leaned on a railing, he didn't even make eye contact. "I suggest you frolic with the others. It appears my mood isn't quite welcoming to company at the moment."

Any oppportunity to get out of the castle was one he did not just pass up. There was very few times he was allowed outside without being under guard. The bird was walking down the streets as he avoided most of the heavier crowds. He hated them, hated being pushed up against random people in the name of "dancing". He would rather enjoy the night air as he could, fresh and crisp from the freshly fallen snow. Lucky for him he was given a jacket to wear to the event, saving himself from wearing something ridiculous. The less people saw him the better keeping out of the eyes of those that ruled over him was a gift he wouldn't squander. If that was ever something he could truly get here even when he intentionally removed himself from most others. "Don't ruin the nice night." He said to whoever came up to him as he was leaning up against a lightpole.

Finn had settled at the bar ordering drink after drink. His outfit –– as usual for whenever Gareth dressed him in something stupid like this –– certainly called attention he didn't want with the brightly colored ball ornaments held to him by invisible floss and some tape, tattooed ass out on display, and the blinking Christmas lights weaved through his duotone ponytail. Maybe more alcohol would kill his embarrassment or whatever dignity he thought he had left. Either way, right now he was still sober and not really feeling the Christmas spirit.

"Don't even fuckin' start," the familiar warned without looking at the man beside him who'd been staring a little too long. He expected some comment about his getup since he'd gotten a few so far.
