Heyyyyy come get my newest lil thang this Sunday at SF Zine Fest!!! It’s a collection of comics I did based on interviews with V. Vale! It’s very silly but also has some insider insights into the beginning of punk, zines in the 70′s and growing up in post-war America!

MASTER’S THESIS

Check out my comics master’s second year thesis!! It comes in 3 parts:

1_A comic detailing in typical whirlwindian fashion my forays into the world of zines, mosh pits, and collective action, namely the genesis of COME FIND OUT and its attendant toils and joys, elbow-in-elbow with the incandescent Anjelica Colliard (and a whole universe of angelic rascals).

2_A big fat theoretical/poetical slapdash and slaphappy account of underground/alternative/subversive networks of distribution and formal experimentation in text and image, focussing on 4 contemporary comics clusters from across the globe: Spider’s Pee Paw from the U.S., Dongery from Norway, Superstructure form Belgium, and SW from Australia. 

3_A poster with silly suggestions for how to distribute ‘samizdats’ after the singularity.

VIGIPIRATE/SUBJECT TO THE LADDER

made for the exhibition of Masters 2 students at the Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée in Angoulême, France. 

two screenprints by myself and sabine (on a survival blanket in the colors of the Vigipirate policy’s color-scale for danger levels) and a lil ladder i painted after exchanging doodles with ari bird and anjelica colliard <3

never thought id get to collaborate and rub elbows with such lovely ladies!!
