Jjk leaks coming out today I think. I saw somewhere where Yuji actually turned against Yuta cuz bro wasn’t informed of the devious plan. I honestly wanna see my boy become a villain/antagonist cuz that shit cold 🫣🫣

Okay so coming back to this post, I do wanna say that this theory is extremely inaccurate. As much as I love the idea of Yuji becoming a villain, it would not make any sense and ruin the reason why he is the main protagonist.

Yuji is the embodiment of pushing forward and not giving into the madness to become powerful as what Jujutsu society wants their sorcerers to be and how the majority of characters falls into this regime. Even though he is a vessel for the King of Curses and there are so many instances that attempts to push him down internally, he will not throw his humanity away and continue to fight. His STRONG connection to humanity is what made many despise him (the higher ups, the curses, etc.). This is why he is the main protagonist in the story. It is what separates himself and the side characters introduced.

As a YouTuber who did a deep dive on his character has said

“Yuji is not a cog in a machine, he’s a lone wrench thrown into it” - Johnny Star

I love Satoru Gojo obviously and he’s my favorite character in Jujutsu Kaisen. However, Yuji Itadori is truly one of my favorite protagonists. He’s such a big inspiration for a particular OC of mine because how well written he is in the story and the world he unfortunately lives in. My favorite Struggler Protagonist.
