You ever try to explain something to someone and then watch them completely and aggressively miss the point of it and make a GIANT scene out of something that required 3 typed words and an emoji to solve. And as you try to explain further, they keep talking and talking and ignoring everything you've said about the conversation so far to the point that it very much feel like they're being willfully obtuse about it. But like, your rational brain still pings that, no, maybe not willfully, maybe it's just a response to some weirdly specific trauma or a lack of communication on both side of the issue and blah blah blah And you're *still* angry about it anyway because, fuck you, it would be so much fucking easier if they'd just actually *listen*. Because, for *once* you're right and they're wrong. And I don't mean like, *listen* in the kind of 'obey' vibe the word can have, I mean *listen* in the 'please take the time to read what I wrote and consider what I said and acknowledge that it's been said' because if they had done so... this wouldn't be a problem. No? Just me?
