“What’s her name?”

“You do not know the name of your future wife?” Matt huffed incredulously. “You’ve been betrothed to her since you were four!”

Lance flushed and sat up, brushing off the dirt from his tunic. All the talks of the importance of the political marriage his older brothers had tried to give him often went over his head. It was a rare time a four year old cared much for marriage after all. All he knew, was that the youngest of the Serranos and the youngest of the Holts were to marry. A union that will strengthen their military and trade standing in the Altean lands. “I’m sure she is beautiful,” he offered weakly. “I would hope she’s not as good a marksman as you are as well. I’d have nothing to impress her with otherwise.”

SOOOO the wonderful @alwaysinsonder actually wrote a fic for me, titled the rogue princess! It’s a historical fantasy AU based on Game of Thrones and I still can’t believe it!! And of course, I had to draw fanart of it!

The first comic with baby!Lance is based on a scene in the fic, while the last two drawings are just me messing around with the concept of Betrothed Plance.

and finally I’ll say this:

A rainy bus stop

( i really tried, ok )

“great, just what I needed,” Pidge said as the rain started pouring harder while waiting at the bus stop. she saw car after car pass but no sign of the bus .“well at least this bis stop has a little roof.” she said trying to look at the positive side of the situation. pidge soon heard splashing footsteps, she saw a guy with a jean jacket over his head for cover. “hey“ said the tall stranger, pidge just waved and moved to the other side of the bench to make space for the stranger. he thanked her as he sat down. an awkward silence then followed as they both sat there accompanied by the sound of cars passing by and raindrops hitting the bus stop. “so, this rain came out of nowhere huh?” said the guy trying to start up a conversation “yeah, I picked the wrong day to wear this outfit “ said pidge looking at her soaking wet dress. “so what’s the story behind the dress?” . “well it was supposed to be for a blind date but I got ghosted “ Pidge said with a small laugh .” haha that’s cold” he said. “Nah, I'm too weird for their taste anyway”.

“well at least you avoided getting catfished,” he said. “ true, what about big time rush what’s up with the hipster outfit,” pidge asked with a giggle. “ haha very funny, well im in a band and we were supposed to play a gig today but the weather had other plans” the guy said .the bus soon arrived and both got up to get on bus . they both sat together and talked about themselves and random things the whole bus ride. once pidge’s stop came she got up but not before a hand stopped her “wait what’s your name?” the stranger said. “ Katie, Katie Holt,” she said “that’s a very pretty name, I'm Lance McLain nice to meet you,” said as he let go giving her a paper. once she arrived home she greeted her dog and took a quick shower. she then made some coffee and decided to read the small note lance gave her. “ hey I know you were ghosted and you're pretty much done with dating but, you actually seem pretty funny and interesting well what I'm trying to say is if maybe you would like to go out sometime. my number is (909) xxx-xxxx” . after reading the note Katie couldn’t help but smile “ what a dork” she thought as she pulled out her phone to call him.
