i didn’t want to post this but i kinda feel like i have to now doing commissions has become more popular. i know 80% of the roleplay community don’t like the idea of people paying for things such as themes, icons etcetcetc and commissioning off someone with a stolen coding or with no permission from the artist can have serious consequences. 

but i’ve found 99% of the time people who’ve decided to open commissions is because they’re in dire need of the money:  to pay bills, medical expensive, to even pay for lunch that same day so when you, as a customer, say that hey! can i commission _________ off of you? you can grantee we’ve already spent the money in our heads, or even already stored it away for something. 

the worst thing that can happen is a day later someone actually has realised they can’t afford it / change their mind / stop replying all together. or we created the thing and then they decide they don’t want it.

please please please please please please please please please please please for love of god don’t waste a commissioner’s time. it’s heartbreaking. it could be the difference of if they eat a lot or a little that day. please read each rule, each price and reply in a timely fashion. each person i know that does commissions treats their customers with the utmost respect, please give the same.  ❤
