She’s So Mean | Matchbox Twenty
✗From the West to the East ⇆ Donghae + Krystal
Donghae chuckled at her comment and nodded in agreement. Nope, somebody was a little jealous and he found the whole thing to be awfully amusing. He hoped he could keep teasing the waiter until the very last moment, then his trip would be complete and he would be satisfied. Donghae thought he wouldn’t be the only one satisfied though, something told him that Krystal too would like it.
“Yeah?” he answered absentmindedly, taking a bite of his burger, chewing and swallowing it before he looked up at her, nodding once, “it’s really good,” and added with a slight chuckle, “best burger I’ve ever had.”
The rest of the meal was eaten in mostly silence with some chitchatting every now and then. When they were both done, Donghae called for the waiter to get the bill, and just his luck – it was the same waiter who had served them earlier, the one who took a liking to Krystal and openly disliked Donghae. Donghae wondered if they would fire him for being a little hostile towards customers.
“Oh, you have a little something here,” he said and quickly leaned in to give Krystal another kiss as he saw the waiter walking towards the table in the corner of his eye. This time the kiss lasted longer and he took his sweet time before he eventually pulled back with a smile on his lips. Sitting down again, he smiled up at the waiter and took out his wallet.
“I’ll pay for it,” he said and dropped the bills on the plate before Krystal could say anything else. He figured this would be his way of thanking her for showing him the way back to his hotel. As soon as the money landed on the plate, the waiter walked away.
"Good, I'm glad you like it!" Krystal grinned. She was glad that he had liked the place she'd chosen to dine at, because she definitely didn't want to give him bad experiences while he was in California. No, she was determined to make sure the two of them had a blast in the time they'd be able to spend together. Krystal was perfectly content eating her burger, firing off more questions as they came to mind and answering the ones he asked in return.
She lifted her brows in confusion when Donghae mentioned her had something on her face. Before she could make a move to rub her face, she felt his lips back on hers. She grinned in the kiss, her hands cupping his warm cheeks as she fought the urge to deepen their kiss more than it was. Krystal's hand moved down Donghae's neck and lightly entangled its fingers on his shirt's collar.
A little sad that the kiss ended, she revelled in the fact that it was much, much longer than their last, and Krystal was starting to think she didn't have anything on her face at all. She noticed the waiter when Donghae told her she would pay for it, to which she answered with a light headed nod. She glanced over at the waiter, who looked angrier now than he had before. Krystal gave him a puzzled look before letting it go, not really caring how he turned fast on his heels and scampered back into the kitchen.
"So, shall we get going?"
Think it’s time for a revolution, revolution, REVOLUTION!
"Kiss the boys and make ‘em cry."
