Well, thanks Lezhin
The only thing I could think about while reading the chapterĀ
You know I had to hit em over the head with a scanner.
gonna print thisĀ
meirl
There was something about this photo that unnerved me the first time I looked at it and I think I know why
It just seems too similar to be a coincidenceā¦
when u get to that part of the drawing and u have zero confidence in ur skills
Sangwoo didnāt kill Bumās uncle
And hereās why
Bum is an unreliable narrator. We know that the first time the uncle introduced himself in the house it was Bumās hallucination. The blood on the floor disappeared the second the police officer started banging on the door.
And this time is no different.
Sangwoo never returned from the hill where he went to destroy his car. He never bought a new car. They were never cooking together. Bum has a personality disorder, he manipulates the reality Koogi makes us see. The uncle is barefoot in chapter 45, but heās wearing slippers in chapter 46, just like we were shown that Sang and Bum were cooking rice, and it suddenly turned to Spaghetti in chapter 46.
āItās dripping everywhereā, said Sangwoo, while it was actually a perfectly clean murder. Clean murders are not his style. He stabs people, breaks their legs, covers his hands and face in blood and spends /hours/ methodically cleaning everything up. Thatās his style.
Sangwoo didnāt kill the uncle. Bum did. And his brain is blaming Sangwoo for it.
Did you all forgot how he went hiding under the blanket after he killed the girl?
Guess what heās doing now? Hiding again. Thatās what he does after a murder. He hides from it.
Sangwoo was never there. Koogi didnāt even show us killing the man.
Bum is hallucinating, he is imagining Sangwoo doing it and blaming it all on him, because itās easier. So he can keep playing the victim.
Because thatās what he does.
We believed that he has a horrible life, filled with dread and horror and loneliness, but now?
Heās now remembering the happy memories because heās forgiving the uncle, heās remembering the TRUTH.
Bum is dangerous, even more dangerous than Sangwoo. He keeps telling himself that his uncle was bad, that he did horrible things to him, but are we sure about it? I believe these are the first genuine memories Bum has shown us.
He manipulates the reality around him in a way that makes him appear like the victim of the events, but really? Is he? Are we A HUNDRED PERCENT sure about it? He said that no one had ever bought him a present, but now we know that his family was gentle and kind to him. They brought him places, bought him nice clothes just like any normal family would do.
I donāt trust Bumās narration. I believe that this whole chapter was manipulated by his mind.
Sangwoo is a psychopath. He is perfectly aware of the reality around him. He is extremely smart. He knows exactly whatās going on. His mind is easily triggered and his way out of it is murder. But he knows whatās going on.
Bum doesnāt. Bum is more dangerous, because he tricks you into believe that heās innocent, that everything that is happening to him and that happened to him is just because he is a victim of the events, when what he actually does is manipulating the truth. He has no grip on reality whatsoever.
Now you can hate on me all you want, but this is my theory.
Itās Bum we should all be afraid of. He is a stalker. He is a killer. He is a manipulator. He is a sociopath. He is the victim of his own story.
Thing is, we donāt know the actual story yet.
WISHING THIS IS CANON WISHING THIS IS THE TRUTH WISHING THIS IS THE REAL THING WISHING BUM IS ACTUALLY MANIPULATING ALL OF US
āāa whole new worldāā plays in the background
sangwoo at the basement picking the hammer and the plastic bag likeĀ Ā
šššthis is 100% canon
Killing Stalking CH 45 thoughts:
Sangwoo is trying to be Better - he took his anger/frustrations out on the woman and his own car rather than Bum
Bum being the prettiest, like, ever
Bum initiating a kiss with Sangwoo and Sangwoo deepening it, I died
Sangwoo is super upset over his mother (who he probably killed or he watched her kill herself ā either way, he thinks she left him and sheās the source of his abandonment fears when it comes to Bum) and through This Mother Rage he is probably even more desperate to keep Bum around (and remember, this is the Sangwoo who has been actively trying to be better)
So what better way to make sure Bum doesnāt leave him and to bond Bum to him even further than he is already and to, most importantly, connect to Bum in a way no one else would be able to ā murder
Sangwoo refers to Bumās uncle as aĀ āgiftā, which means he has no intention of letting Bumās uncle go which means Bumās uncle is gonna die
Oh heās gonna die so hard
Sangwoo, in his wonderfully fucked up logic and high off his āletās trash the car and imagine itās momā tantrum, went and picked up Bumās uncle in the guise of returning Bum to his uncle (and we know for a Fact that Sangwoo aināt gonna let no one else have Bum, especially not Asshole-Uncle) all so he can reaffirm his bond with Bum in the most intimate way he knows how ā murder
Also this panel gives me life
Sangwoo is SO EXCITED to show Bum this gift that will, he believes, cement their feelings for each other even further, and Bum is just so dang thirsty for that big ole Sangwoo d
Sangwoo calls BumĀ āChagi,ā self, or myself. Basically, his soul-mate or other half.Ā āBabe,ā doesnāt quite express it. This is significant because he called Bum that once before.
I swear Sangwoo is like those cats who come back home with half dead preys to show their owner how much they love them.
Sangwoo: hey Bum, I got you a present.
*the rapist abusive uncle shows up*
