Art tip for developing your own style: Reference your own favorite art pieces!
If you look at the parts you love about your own art, you’ll replicate them and your style will become stronger and more consistent!
A compilation of stuff I know about drawing Asian faces and Asian culture! I feel like many “How-To-Draw” tutorials often default to European faces and are not really helpful when drawing people of other races. So I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested! Feel free to share this guide and shoot me questions if you have any! I’m by no means an expert, I just know a few things from drawing experience and from my own cultural background.
hey these are some tips for some of the little details in drawing fat folks that some people might not know!
everyone has fat on their bodies so its a worthwhile skill to have, but most art tutorials leave it out. heres some other good tips from artists!!
as requested- my zine about fat and plus size body types from instagram!💖 happy drawing everyone!
ALRIGHT SO my pal @kalreyno wanted help with drawing fat characters and as a fat artist i felt like i could give a bit of helpful insight on
some notes on drawing fat bodies in a stylized or cartoony art style! i tried to explain and illustrate things i keep in mind while drawing
something i notice a lot with artists trying to draw fat people is that even if they get the bodies decent they often draw the heads and nec
Your artwork is legit so amazing!!! I love the fluidity of your drawings/your pose work! I apologize if this has already been asked - but I was wondering if you have any tips about posing characters/keeping the fluidity of a pose! Thank you for your time, and I hope you have an amazing rest of your day!
Tips about posing.....I think for myself it's about balancing curves and straights when I think of poses. Normally when you draw a curve it will naturally have a straight line to contrast the shape.
They don't necessarily have to be perfect curves and straight lines but knowing where they are gesturally can help push your poses to feel more dynamic.
And even for the most subtle, mundane poses using curves and straights can help make your poses feel very natural. I think once you know how to capture the core essence of a pose purely through simple lines or shapes, you can further embellish without having to worry about it feeling stiff. Of course, there's also things like anatomy and perspective to think of when drawing characters in poses but for my process it always starts here with curves and straights haha.
I hope that answered your question!
You don’t suck at Lineart, you’re just not familiar with line weight👍🏼!
Reblog to kill it faster
Hello 👋🏾 I doubt that there is anyone still active from this account but I am back mostly to get references from here.
My fandom choices had changed drastically from 5 years ago sooo yea. I am also in college now so that’s fun.
Mama butterfly doodle :3
Oof I’ve been so inactive lol 😂
IT IS VERY REAL!! ALWAYS BE AWARE.
Don’t take them off when you immediately see it. Wait until you get to a different destination bc they’re trying to distract you by getting it off then abducting you. Same thing goes if you find something on your windshield, it’s a distraction so they have time to get you.
WTF? Is this real?

I just love how nobody talks about this movie and this epic scene.
I really do wonder what was that meeting like when discussing on having this scene added to this movie
How to CGI greatness probably
I remember seeing this in theaters and all of us were laughing well into the next scene
That character is voiced by Robin Williams in a movie that also has Ewan McGregor and Mel Brooks.
Robots was a pretty good Blue Sky movie and why did people sleep on this?
It was ahead of its time, I fear. (aka, because adults realized it was about how capitalism is toxic and kills innovation, they stopped promoting it.)
things you don’t point out about people:
acne
cuts
Scars
body hair in places you’re not used to it being???
fat rolls/curves
how much/how little they’re eating
how skinny they are/what bones they can see because of how skinny they are
How fat they are.
If they have crooked or misaligned teeth maybe even yellowed
If they sweat a lot
don’t do it
don’t
Alternative things to say:
I think you’re really beautiful and capable of your happiness.
do it.
THIS IS SO IMPORTANT OMFG
THIS! This is why I tell ESL students they shouldn’t apologize for messing up English. It’s why I continue to practice Spanish and force myself to talk to those who look uncomfortable in an English speaking crowd. This is why I’m encouraged to learn two or three more languages.

This better not get cut out of the new movie.
I saw the clarinet and thought “please be what I hope it is”. I was not disappointed.
