There was a time, maybe it was yesterday even, when I believed that being a working artist was the ultimate manifestation of my creativity. Maybe I will always feel that way a little. To be honest, in my world, nearly all of my energy is poured into mothering. I very much love the path I am on but I am transitioning away from thinking I need to be an artist that sells art. Maybe someday, but not now. Now I tend the garden of childhood, watching my babies grow up towards the sun and in towards the earth.
