2025 Art Summary! Below the read more, I'll dump my thoughts, a few failed drawings, sketches and some comparison with old artworks

My art's REALLY inconsistent but that's nothing new haha. Some general thoughts, I managed to push myself out of my comfort zone in 2025! From Jan-May, I only drew characters on white background :")

I discovered the wonderful world of planning composition and adding background elements in a drawing to create a theme! Which, hear me out, is probably a no brainer but I'm dead serious that doing that has never occurred to me. I just drew a character and called it a day for 9 straight years since I began drawing digitally😭My mind is my enemy

I'm a very slow learner so its satisfying to find out I learnt smtg new
