I make books and draw quirkly wildlife illustrations, fanart, and furries. Occasional weird queer art may appear. Note, some art on this blog is NSFW. Although this blog is usually sfw and sensitive subjects are tagged, this space is not curated for minors.

Hope you guys are ready for neopets. I'm having a great time! it's true what they say, kill the cringe if you want to have fun. This has super lazy shading but ah well it still pleases me. I think the color palette for the bg is pretty good.

Curse of the Deserted Heart bookbinding work in progress photos! See the finished books here.

Covers in progress above. When making multiples, I like to do the same step together for all books instead of finishing one book and then redoing it. If I were doing more than 3 copies I'd probably have to split it up.

Check out my secret Oxford hollow! The textblock on the right (below) has the hollow attached and the one on the left (below) doesn't have one attached yet so you can see the stitching. It's "secret" because it has cool paper design that's not super noticeable on the finished book unless you peer down the gap between spine and cover with the book open. Mine matches one of the papers used on the covers.

These pics are from when the textblocks were already constructed but before getting their covers (gasp, the books are naked). From the view below you can see that the endpapers are longer than necessary, sticking out longer than the pages. This is so that once the covers are attached, I can press the endpaper into the hinge of the cover and trim it to the correct length before gluing it down.

GET MORE SPARKLY! Feb 2026, fountain pen, tablet, & krita.

Decided I want to make a few sticker designs to print and take to MFF in December :3 I have therefore drawn my oc Kendella even more like the inside of a Claire's than normal. Now I have to figure out where to print those cool patterned holographic stickers!

The Curse of the Deserted Heart bookbinding, January 2026.

I never posted the pics of this, oops! Here are the two identical books I made for the Renegade bookbinding exchange, one for my assigned recipient and one for the author. I had a great time making these, including the cover art that I drew to match the description of the silly novel from the story itself.

Fic is on ao3 here! It's a fun and silly romance! Do you need to read a silly Mummy movie fic? Of course you do.

Marbled paper is by @renato-crepaldi. I got these two colors of the same pattern several years apart and I love how they go together for a desert color palette.

Zerblin reference sheet. March 2026. tablet & krita.

Finished a redesign of one of my characters I made in high school! I am better at making color palettes now. She discovered a magical artifact as a teenager that bound itself to her, apparently irreversibly. I wanted her new design to reflect the pendant binding itself to her and changing her appearance, so it looks as if it burned itself into her.

Since I might as well have fun I decided that the pendant is not visible to most people, and that it lives inside her body, either literally or metaphorically or both. This may be an accidental reference to the shikon no tama and I decided to go with it anyway because cringe is dead

Coptic notebook (Aug 2025) using beautiful handmade marbled paper by @renato-crepaldi (Aug 2023).

I don't make ficbindings with coptic binding very often because I like those to look more similar to traditionally published works. Coptic stitch is really satisfying to me though because it doesn't require glue to hold the covers and pages together, and because I like how the functional bits of the binding are clearly visible.

For this journal, I used hooked endpapers; you can see the "hook" in the first two pics above, with the paper wrapped around the section of pages at the very front and back of the book. I put extra paper on the inside covers so I wouldn't have to throw away cut pieces too narrow to put on another cover.

My quest continues to get better at drawing fat women. Have a bnnuny. She works at a haunted carnival, will absolutely cheat you out of your money, and will laugh if you get jumpscared. She can be overbearing but is a loyal friend if you can earn her respect.

Now that I can draw about as well as I wished I could in middle school, I thought I should do some full body portraits. Zerblin is a vampire (ish) and magic user, the latter due to her pendant, which is a rare artifact. This is definitely the first time I’ve drawn her pendant approaching what I want it to look like.

Many years later I have decided it's time to overhaul Zerblin's design, soon to be with a more unified color scheme and, if possible, 50% more drama.

Having a lot of fun drawing her! And trying to pay more attention to what shape she is instead of just drawing generic Doge shape. This character's style is basically the entire contents of a Claire's.
