How he could cackle explosively at the youth right about now, taunt him, provided he earned the chance to clench tightly around his neck, fingers digging into his frail skin in order to perform the rude actions in his face. For now, to satisfy his one (of many) mischievous desires, Albel chuckled lowly, surely having his target hear his rising arrogance.
“Oh? You’re itching to harm me for such a simple mistake? Such a temper you have there; notably, I think that’s all you have that is well short of threatening, weak fool.” To prove that he was not bluffing, Albel risked invading the boy’s personal space—though not too uncomfortably, for he favored his own—while unearthing his own sword from the weapon casing that hung from his hip. Elongated the blade was, greatly compared in appearance to the shape of a katana, gems of royalty adorning the hilt the warrior gripped on so loosely. Shame on him, really; he was a military captain, still was, and here he was belittling the strength of his opponent—or victim, better put.
“I can see you’re no match for me. Run. Now. Before I change my mind. As a matter of fact—” he muttered quietly, releasing a bulbous cloud of breath due to the freezing air. His bloodred eyes flickered to the right of the Hades realm for some reason unknown to the youth before him, to which he lowered his sword (not because he trusted the other) and instead kicked at one of the boy’s shins. “It seems I have changed my mind, maggot. Move along. I’ll use you as a shield, how about that? If something massive approaches us, you’ll be devoured first.”
"You threw it at me, and I don't think that was a mistake."
There weren't many instances where Yosuke got angry, but this happened to be one of the moments; if one searched far enough, one would find that he did indeed have a temper, and he wasn't willing to hold back. He had had more than his fair share of being unfairly treated when he first moved to Inaba, for being the Junes kid, nothing more. Several students were angry that the company had driven the local stores out of business, but was it really his fault? And the answer to that was no, but that didn't aid his case, because people were stupid and took their anger out on anything within the ballpark.
Brown eyes, anger welling in their depths, fell upon the other's katana in all its majestic glory, from its sleek, metallic shine, to the expensive jewels that crowned its hilt, marking it with significance. And it finally occurred to him that perhaps this person was someone important, back where he was from. Despite this, Yosuke was willing to go against the odds, if he needed to.
But it turned out that no, the stranger had withdrawn his threat, and had instead resorted to giving him a swift, firm kick in the shin, to which he gritted his teeth and remained soundless, biting his lip to prevent himself from crying out, though his next words caused the boy to smirk, despite the derogatory name added onto the order.
"Why, are you too scared to wander out there on your own?" He took a few steps away from Albel, gesturing to the remainder of the frozen realm. "From what I know, that's cowardly, and it sure as hell ain't cool."
