(Geto) SPECIAL GRADE CURSE AU.
Kids: - STARING @ spirit- Megumi: so he's not going anywhere ... Gojo: no Yuji: b-but why? Is he like Rika now?! Gojo: in a way but not exactly, he's protecting me from anyone while also waiting for when I'll get vulnerable so he can kill me himself :| Nobara: sucks (to be you, Sensei)
special grade cursed spirit: Geto Suguru.
— Franz Kafka, from “Letters to Felice.”
« Geto-senseeeeei ! Happy birthday !! »
Yuji's cheerful birthday greeting caught Geto off guard, causing the normally stern and aloof teacher to pause in his tracks. For a fleeting moment, a look of surprise flickered across Sugurs's features, his dark eyes widening almost imperceptibly. After a beat, he gave a curt nod of acknowledgment, the barest hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth - a brief moment of camaraderie with the oftentimes distant sensei. " Thank you, Itadori-kun, " he replied, his deep voice even and controlled in a moment of levity from the usually composed teacher. " Run along to class now, but do remind me later - I may have some birthday candy to share with my students." With a conspiratorial wink, Geto nodded to Yuji before continuing on his way, tailored suit jacket flaring behind him as he vanished into the cold of outdoor skirts.
Me wondering how much moots will slice me in half if I suddenly emerge replying to 2/3 years old stuff.

@kuraikyu [sorry this literally took idek wanna know how long, but hi again]
"I'm beginning to think you may be obsessed with me, Geto-san."
His voice is calm, even a bit tired sounding. It had been a long week spent pouring over what he wanted to focus on during his panel at the summit, jotting down potential rebuttals and reminders of how to gently steer the conversation back to it's original topic. Despite being confronted yet again by Suguru, he was almost relieved to see the other sorcerer's presence. He'd come to be quite the avid listener during Djassi's lectures, even after he had rejected Geto's offer of recruitment into his fold.
The longer he mulled over the cult leader's 'answer' to the world's ills, the less he was convinced. It was a child's fantasy, an extremist pipedream- Why resort to such lengths in order to prevent curses from manifesting? There were other avenues yet to be seriously explored, but culling the human race was the quickest method to achieve his, frankly, ludicrous goals. Objectively, he could see why the idea was tempting to someone like Suguru- Who seemed to be in a hurry to create his curse user's utopia.
Adisa finishes loading his document case and set it aside, yawning while taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs in the convention hall.
"Are you here to tempt me with more promises of the global unification of sorcerer clans? Or were you simply curious about the pantheon of African deities and mythological figures?" he asks, genuinely curious if he'd perhaps managed to spark a niche interest in the other man.
"You'd probably fancy yourself a kindred spirit to Sango- One of the most powerful and popular Gods around the world. His domains include protection, social order, and vengeance... His presence is always preceded by the sound of rolling thunder and the crash of lightning bolts striking down those foolish few who oppose his divine will."
Seats lie friendly in what remains from the light of day. After a while, when the hall seemed to be empty, a voice came from the end where there was but one who remained sitting. Listening until there were no signs of life around them. Choosing not to get up would be no choice at all.
' I'm beginning to think you may be obsessed with me, Geto-san. '
'' That's another way how to describe interest. ''
A mantra is absorbed much better with frequent repetition, but interest with sporadic it, depending on when focus is captured the best. He knew he couldn't win the man over with a single conversation. But if he could plant the seeds of curiosity and ambition, nurture them over time … Well, Geto was a patient man. He could afford to play the long game if it meant achieving his ultimate goal. The mysterious visitor ( who appeared several times before ) seemed to be naturally exhibiting interest in other cultures as beings in higher realities; concepts that are woven together, myths that have some significance, voiced by man-made sounds in mortal stories.
The false prophet wanted the Sorcerers to rise as sacred creations brought into this world to live a life of abundance and fulfillment and realize they are powerful beings, capable of moving the tides of their own life and not surviving and crouching for scraps of food. How selfish such vision could be for seeking rare consistency? Still, he had minimal expectations majority would understand severity of such matter and consider it only unattainable idyll, and it was fine, he had no interest to subject all facts to prefabricated set of interpretations though everyone had different motives and goals if they chose to participate and he had yet to meticulously research Miguel's. Trying to lead my cognitive dissonance astray? Very well then ... One of them must stay ultimately conscious to not get too caught up in gaslighting between faiths instead, he will stray through the avenue of human psychology. Geto's lips curled into a faint smile at Miguel's pointed question, his eyes glinting with a mix of amusement and determination. After standing up, he took a few slow, deliberate steps closer, the sound of his footfalls echoing through the now-empty lecture hall. " Promises? I don't like to offer mere words, so not today, if it's up to your complacency, I came to ask how are you and how things fare, even Sorcerers need others to keep checking up on their well-being. '' He listened intently to the fragment of narrative, somewhat enjoying the comfort of tale without discomfort of thought. " A formidable figure, indeed, " he mused, his voice tinged with admiring curiosity, " I can sense there are some parallels to explore in very presence that heralds such raw, unbridled power -- the unyielding drive to reshape the world, to bring order from chaos, no matter the cost. It's a shame that such might is confined to the realm of legend. " -- don't you think? Another thing almost slipped him: In our world, it is we sorcerers who must take up the mantle of divine authority.
" But tell me more, " he walked to the foreign figures, statues, and other artifacts likely brought in for the lecture and pondered aloud when stopping in front of one of them, " I wonder if your gods are merciful ... which one is that mostly calls to you? "
It's funny you should say that because I was recently thinking about people who get 'adjusted' in some way. Thanks for setting up the next question: How would Geto regard individuals who were adjusted in some manner to become sorcerers?
GOOD f*cking question ( XD ), I shall put here the example of two reactions which shall display exactly how he views it. ( Because this idea from this ask emerged from a particular previous, I shall put here slight reference for those who were not around by that time. And if I remember correctly I hinted something about that here too . )
Geto vc: enhanced monkeys =w=
he'd be like: ' no, I refuse to see you in that way because you were not born with abilities but artificially influenced! '
And that's it, these two reactions pretty much summarize it all. Torn in dilemma and mad confusion, he knows the 'monkey' is not that 'monkey' anymore, which won't only fuel his rage but also won't allow him to murder them right away. He shall not see them equal to the other sorcerers who were born gifted. He'll simply see them as low-grades, paws, and peasants unless there's someone really, really powerful emerging enough for him to consider them 'blessed' amidst late awakening.

Thoughts eerily wandered to how anime did us 'non-Japanese' speakers one big courtesy and translated what three Dojo scrolls in Suguru's headquarters mean :
ㅤ ㅤㅤ - '' Death to fools. '' ㅤㅤ - '' Punishment to the weak. '' ㅤㅤ - '' Love to the strong. ''
ㅤ Neatly hung behind him as a reminder to anyone who comes across him. It seems, there is more behind the curtain if we peek under that one massive genocidal ideology ( eradicate the human race ) it has spiraling flux or rather secondary - subordinate categories Geto clings to.
1. Death to fools : those who oppose him, regardless of position, gender, age, status, being Jutsushi or Hijutsushi. If you are not with me you are against me. He adores sorcerers, but he is also aware that not everyone ( unfortunately for him ) is going to share the concept of his vision, and he must make his stance clear; about what lies ahead for those who oppose him.
2. Punishment for the weak : could obviously mean monkeys but it can also mean those sorcerers who are not like-minded and: - are particularly weak ( physically ) ; - keep hiding behind others' skirts ; - too scared to voice their objections about possible discontent of being oppressed by ungifted majority ( weakness of the mind and spirit ) Apparently, he has only little patience tolerance for less-gifted individuals and considers them more as downgrades worthy only to be enslaved. As we are roughly reminded of anti-reciprocity and specific quote such as 'nature punish the weak and favor the strong'. 3. Love to the strong : well, no need to butcher that one in depth for we all know what that means. There is profound, passionate, and ultimate fondness for the strong; raw as it is said, in the truest sense of the word. Sorcerers are superiors in his eyes and only deserving of ( his ) love and salvation.

What strangely specific scent do you give off?
Rain after the thunderstorm:
you are the calm one, the one who believes to their core that they have everything under control. the world continues on past you, and you're walking away from the things that trouble you, whenever you can. you take a sip of your warmest tea, and you go sit down on the edge of the porch with your best friend, and the world passes you both by as you talk about nothing and everything in the world. you bring people to you the way rain forces shelter, and how the ground soaks it up like the morning dew. you are welcoming the way clouds welcome vapor until they can't anymore, and it rains, and rains, and rains. when you finally can hold no more, will you be raining or thundering?

@fallesto : "This can go the easy way or the hard way, it is down to you." (Gojo)
Contrived myths persisted as mortals tend to hold to the cliches of forebears. And while a certain Cultist busied himself with rather sightful observation of over-crowded metropolitan and less enthusiastic gourmet tasting his refinement had better scale of cynical diversity to offer while brow would hardly mop in his turn around.
Detail gives the novel some verisimilitude, so vocally he advanced to root around odds and probabilities of clash, " What if I refuse both? If I'm not mistaken, old friend, you cannot threaten me in public without threatening everyone around ... "
Bye-Bye Gojo-Sensei
Kenjaku is VERY not socially amorous but loves to defile anything and everything in his stringent and far-reaching nature ... with comprehensive list of sources he is -- adjusting very well to the bodies he inhabits; not only in terms of mannerisms but he also remains respectful toward their visual image. He would align by cutting Noritoshi Kamo's mustache to keep it exactly toothbrush shaped and wear the same obsidian gauges as Geto without attempting to remove anything for personal comfort, all while still managing to remain profane as he pleases.
