“Kuroshitsuji comicbook vol.27. It seems I have the bad habit of making flashback scenes too fast-paced. Every month I was like “Next month, I will eventually conclude the flashback and we’ll get back to the present timeline”. The reason for my impatience is that I believe that ‘one’s present is more important than one’s past’. However, my editor told me “If you want to draw [OC’s] past, it’s now or never,” so in the end I was able to sit down and draw the flashback [to my heart’s content].” (X)

“I had originally planned to conclude the flashback with 3 chapters lol. But my editor said “There’s no way you can do that!!”, so I drew both the happy times as well as the tough times [of OC’s past] elaborately. […]” (X)

“My favourite scene [in vol.27] is the “What should I do” scene [*ch137, see above]. It’s a monologue that only the readers will ever know. The biggest challenges for me in terms of art were… the moths and also the moon phases in the background. I kept scratching my head as I had to calculate the moon phases by counting the days passing until the day of Sebastian’s summoning. (I slightly corrected them in the comicbook.)” (X) 

“This means, that you can calculate the day and time of [Sebastian’s] summoning from [the progression of] the moon phase starting from the day the twins got kidnapped. But please think of it as a very rough estimation lol. People sometimes ask me [about the exact day of Sebastian’s summoning] - maybe because he doesn’t have an [official] birthday?” (X)

It seems Yana really was *very* confused about the moon phases xD She pretty much redrew them all in the comicbook (especially ch135) and she also corrected these lines accordingly:

So the night of Sebastian’s summoning was a full moon, that means we can roughly estimate his “birthday” as OC’s butler and also RC’s death date as January 20 or 21.

When we're back to present, do you think our!Ciel will order Sebastian to kill real!Ciel after his imminent mental breakdown?

Hi Anon! Okay so, seeing how Ciel totally blames himself for what happened to his brother…

I don’t think he will be able to face him at first, so I doubt he’ll be able to order Seb to take care of his twin either.

In fact, I hope that Seb will be absolutely irrelevant to how this confrontation will turn out for our!Ciel, because we know he’s not particularly good at being sensitive and helpful whenever our!Ciel faces his trauma (ch95 anyone? -_-).

It’s as I wrote here, I think this arc is supposed to help our!Ciel with confronting most of his issues surrounding his trauma and what happened with his brother, so I don’t see how Seb is supposed to be the means to an end here (unlike all the previous arcs before), not when he’s the one who ate the twin’s soul in the first place. 

No, in my opinion, if the twin is to die before this arc ends, then I think it’d make a lot of sense for him to be stopped by anyone but Seb. 

Obviously, right now the most symbolic ending for the twin would be to be stopped by our!Ciel himself, since that’d also imply that our!Ciel found enough strength within himself to face his brother despite how much he was blaming himself for his death, and a catalyst to such an ending could be Lizzie herself.

I mean, if the twin hurts/allows someone to hurt Lizzie (which I think is likely to happen) then…

…in my opinion it could be shocking and despairing enough that our!Ciel would realize he has to stop his brother. 

Other candidates for the same job would be Soma (since the twin attacked him and Agni), Lizzie herself (since she realized a while ago in ch113 that she “couldn’t save the twin”), Ed possibly (if he’s angry enough should Lizzie be hurt) or Tanaka (since surely he’d notice that the twin hardly is the boy he used to be). 

So nope, Seb killing the twin again would just… not help our!Ciel with the fact he’s constantly blaming himself for what happened to his brother. Seb can go face the other star Lords (like Polaris, who’s real!Ciel’s butler and who apparently was strong enough to kill Agni), or the mastermind behind the arc (UT? someone else?), but the twin isn’t going to be his call in my opinion.

Bringing this back because I keep mentioning this but I never expand, so when I say “it’s likely (in my opinion) that Lizzie might get hurt”, that’s what I mean:

I’m pretty sure we discussed it before, but these scenes really make me think that, instead of anemia because she possibly gave some of her blood, Lizzie is going to get hurt (shot?) at a later point in the arc and will lose a lot of blood as a result, enough so that Sieglinde will need to use Wolfram’s for transfusing her. 

Of course it’s just a theory, but as I explained above, I think this might happen precisely because the twin isn’t the boy he used to be and only seems to care about staying with our!Ciel, so when things escalate, depending on what Lizzie will do she might end up getting the same treatment as Soma and Agni. ://

THAT LAST PART IS LITERALLY EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING.

I think Lizzy will get hurt rebeling against rCiel. It’ll probably be her trying to protect oCiel that finally leads her to accept that rCiel isn’t the boy he used to be.

RCiel seems like right now the only thing he cares about is having his brother by his side. Probably as a result of the bizarre doll tendency to retain the cravings for the future they felt in their last moments. RCiel’s was probably to go home with his brother so that’s likely where the obsession comes from.

But I don’t think he had time to think about Lizzy in those moments. Aka I don’t think he feels anything for Lizzy at all as he is now.

So if she at some point became a burden or a nuisance, he might just dispose of her.

Personally, I think it’ll be rCiel shooting her.

Since I think she’ll have rebelled to protect oCiel, oCiel will be there to witness his brother hurting her and just fucking crumble. I also think that this moment might be when he finally accepts that he needs to get rid of the emotionless husk that is his bizarre doll brother.

Then I think Ciel will order Sebastian to save her by any means necessary, they’ll run away and take her to Sieglinde, and she’ll get a blood transfusion. And you pointing out that Wolfram also has Canopus blood makes me believe it so much more.

This is literally how I’ve been hoping they’d reunite I can’t believe someone else thought the same!
