Did you know when I was small I took lessons from a disney animator. He worked on Little mermaid and drew Ariel al lot, so now when I'm idle I draw Ariel to help focus.

Attention Niecest enjoyers!!

We're back for a third round of Niecest Weekend, and I'm so happy to announce the prompts for this year!

All kinds of fanworks are welcome, including: fanfic, fanart, podfic, fanmix, photo manip, fiber crafts, fanbinding, and any others. As long as the work is centered around Niecest, we will gratefully accept it!

There are no minimum requirements for participation. Whatever you feel like participating with will be accepted and celebrated!

Polyamorous submissions containing and prominently featuring Niecest are allowed, and likewise background ships are accepted! The only requirement is that Niecest is the focus of the work.

There are no content restrictions, but please tag your works appropriately! Tagging properly allows people to curate what they want and don't want to see.

To have your fanworks retweeted/reblogged, please tag the event account and use the tag #NiecestWeekend2025. These accounts will continue promoting works related to the event until late August 2025.

We have an ao3 collection for works created for this event. The collection will open mid-June for submissions, but the works will remain hidden until July 18th. We have let the twitter account lapse, and will not be using it for this round of Niecest Weekend. I (JaggedEdges) will be promoting and collecting works from the event on my bsky account as well, which you can find here.

We wholeheartedly encourage everyone with interest to get involved, even if you do not create fanworks! Retweets, reblogs, likes, and comments are an important way to participate!
