Ngl i felt that Suzuki was lowkey bullying him while leading 🤣🤣🤣 It reminded me of when there was this scene where Suzuki "invited" Sugiki to a party and Sugiki was just sitting and drinking, and Suzuki and the others bullied him by calling him a bore and that Suzuki wants to get him drunk 😭 then pulling him to dance and smile.

I also feel that it lowkey gives back to the time when Suzuki had to take place of a woman and Sugiki enjoyed controlling him like a puppet lmao. Here it isnt the case, even when he was leading Suzuki in the ballroom sequences. He wasn't enjoying controlling him like a puppet, but rather he was enjoying dancing with him.

Suzuki ofc lead him in the latin sequences and Aki pointed out that his way of leading is "look I'm having a blast and you should too" and it shows in this and the jive sequence. He was totally wanting Sugiki to have a blast with him as well 😭 and Sugiki WAS having a blast, shedding his cold royal "Emperor" persona like he did in the dance party scene.

Just some random opinion.

The drama 10 dance actually represents how a bl centric drama should be. I have never thought that men can portray the emotions of angst and yearning this beautiful. The sensual control of emotions and the beauty of departing were the best. Cuz they were very mature and grounded. Also, I loved the fact that the portrayal of the bottom is not done kind of typical feminine figure. Though I support all forms of top-bottom trope, but these character portrayal definitely deserves praising. 👏
