FUCK YOU 2016...AND 2017 FUCK YOU TOO, I HATE YOU ALREADY!
I love this show!
I'm reblogging this cause this remains one of my all time favorite shows and when I was first giving it a chance this scene is precisely the scene and precisely the moment I fell in love.
I’ve never had a good New Year’s Eve, and I don’t like birthdays, or any other time when you’re meant to be happy. I’m against the prescription of, say, “Ooh, it’s Christmas o’clock. Smile everyone!” For me happiness occurs arbitrarily: a moment of eye contact on a bus, where all at once you fall in love, or a frozen second in a park where it’s enough that there are trees in the world. I don’t like New Year’s Eve. I don’t think bliss could ever be preceded by a countdown and the chiming of a pompous clock, unless that’s what death’s like.
Russell Brand, My Booky Wook (via totally-fucked)
I know I’m not supposed to find Russell Brand endearing, but when he says things like this, it’s very difficult not to.

If there is a hell, I hope the asshole who invented those “manually type your resume information into these blank fields” is being tortured the hardest
If we always helped one another, no one would need luck.
If we all helped each other, the world wouldn’t suck
I love this.
Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are.
