hey yall, i just wanted to bring awareness to this real quick. i don't often post political or serious posts, but this needs to be said.

germany and austria have and are about to have important election. austria, for one, is gonna elect on september 29.

in the election candidating for the european parlament (which political party was gonna represent the country), people vote for the FPÖ and AFD. both of these parties are incredibly right-wing and problematic. they have talked about their plan to deport all the immigrants, will take queer rights away, and more.

the AFD has nazis in it. i'm not gonna censor or filter this word. because that's what they are. it is true. they are nazis and this is incredibly dangerous.

have they not learned from history? well. the most popular FPÖ politicians will shoot videos and ads about doing stuff like kicking out immigrants

and my friend's @lil-gae-disaster trying to raise awareness to this, all their posts have failed. they are really trying to educate people, but not many seem to care? not as much as about other elections.

don't get me wrong, we all should care about other elections. but that includes countries like austria and germany, too.

and we feel like certain nations, especially germany and austria, need to "prove themselves" to the world that they don't deserve to be represented and managed by parties trying to start ww3 or some shit.

preach about equality then not be equally concerned about issues? seriously?
