Raja yoga and void state through meditation🪷🌞

Heyyyo! i freaking love to search about ancient teachings that are the true ancestors of todays practices we call ''shifting'' & ''void state''. thanks @infinitejoy for giving me information about these topics thru asks, i have researched about it and found these. 💋😋

"Yogaś citta-vṛtti-nirodhaḥ." means "yoga is the cessation of fluctuations (vrittis) in the mind."

Raja Yoga literally means "royal yoga" or "king of yogas," is one of Swami Vivekananda's most important works and it focuses directly on mind control and willpower, rather than physical movements (ofc). According to Vivekananda if we want to control the outer world, we must first control our inner world aka our minds. I can talk about the working of Raja yoga... first, Vivekananda makes a damn good analogy ''the mind is like a lake. If the surface of the lake is turbulent (like constant thoughts, worries, desires etc), you cannot see the "true essence" (called Atman) at the bottom. The goal is to stop the waves and make the lake completely smooth. Only then will you reach that clarity you call "void."

He has a teaching called ''The Eightfold Path'' (aka ashtanga)

As you see raja yoga follows Patanjali's system. These steps helps to discipline the mind step by step...Yama & Niyama, moral discipline (not lying, non violence, purity). These close the holes that leak your energy. Asana, a comfortable sitting position, ur body should not be uncomfortable so that you can focus your mind :) Pranayama, thats basically breath control. Vivekananda says that breath is the key to controlling Prana, aka the life energy. ''they (originally ''he'' but i'll use they) who controls their breaths also controls his mind.''

Pratyahara, withdrawal of the senses, turning completely inward by "shutting off" the sounds and images of the outer world. (this is the gateway to the void state). Literally, focusing and rejecting outer physical sensations.

Us shifters wants to fall into that dark but peaceful void where we say, "im nothing but my consciousness im pure awareness, a bodyless mind." Raja Yoga says that if there are waves on the surface of the lake (meaninng ''mind'') such as "im in this reality," "im in bed right now," "i have school tomorrow," ,you cannot see the infinite void at the bottom of the lake. When u calm the waves (meaning ''stop all thoughts''), your consciousness becomes "pure." In this pure state, if u throw a stone to the bottom of the lake aka the still state, to any reality you desire, the wave created by that stone will shift your entire reality in that direction. ykwim? also, breathing matters.

When you slow your breathing and provide a slow steady rhythm, u send a message to ur brain like "there is no immediate life threatening danger in this physical body." (logically our brains are programmed to ''protect'' us from the ''dangers'') When you control Prana aka. (life energy), you actually change the frequency of ur consciousness. ''Breath is the bridge between this physical reality and the "beyond." '' If u use ur breath correctly u open the door to the void state by putting ur body to sleep while keeping ur mind awake and this is called MABA (mind awake body asleep).

Thought Transmission & how does it work?

// Let’s talk about Thought Transmission, but first of all let’s talk about what thought transmission even is.

Thought Transmission means that your thoughts are not isolated within yourself. Every single thought you have creates an affect on everyone you think about. For example;

You probably thought about a person once and suddenly they texted you or you thought about the same thing as your friend.

Your mind is a transmitter & you can take that to your advantage since you are now aware of it. How? Let me explain it to you.

You think -> person you think about receives

person thinks -> you receive

Did you ever randomly think about a person you didn’t speak to in years? thought transmission.

Did you ever suddenly think about a specific person for example your sp, an ex, a friend? thought transmission.

And the other way around.

What I think they’re doing & feeling is what they’re doing & feeling.

Thought transmission works whether you use it consciously or not so why not use it consciously and make the best out of it?

But how does it work? Let’s take your sp as an example.

Scenario; -> You want him to commit to you and confess his love for you.

Your thought: He’s is committed to me.

His thought: I want to commit to her.

Your thought: He’s so in love with me.

His thought: I’m so in love with her.

Persistence is so important in this one.

Every thought you have about a person is what they think you think of them. You’re not creating those thoughts. You’re receiving them & the other way around.

signs that you are living in the state of the wish fulfilled 🌌✨️

now, we all know that it's not necessary to constantly be living in the state of the wish fulfilled in order to get your desire. you can and will still get whatever you want even if you doubt or waver sometimes, but the state of the wish fulfilled can bring so much peace of mind and is therefore definitely something that i would consider "worth it".

ALSO!!! the state of the wish fulfilled can absolutely vary for each person, this is just a list of common experiences & feelings based on myself and what i've seen others say. you do NOT need to check all of these boxes in order to be in the state!!!

★ you don't think about the past, and if you do it's in a nonchalant and unbothered way because you know that past events do not matter.

★ you don't worry about what will happen in the future and don't even consider stuff like "plan b" because you know you already have it all, and that is the only outcome.

★ you don't feel nervous about needing to complete a specific manifestation routine because you know you're getting your desire whether you affirm once or 10k times per day.

★ you start taking it easy and view life through a more relaxed lense because you know that everything is going your way no matter what.

★ you do methods or techniques for your own enjoyment & entertainment, not to "earn" your manifestation.

★ you may have less doubts, and the doubts that do occur do not bother you because you know that they are powerless and irrelevant.

★ the thoughts and inner dialogues that subconsciously pop up in your head may be more positive without you putting in an active effort to keep them that way.

★ you may temporarily forget about your desire because you are just that relaxed about it and can focus on other stuff.

★ you feel a strong sense of inner peace because you know that your desire is 100% guaranteed.

★ you are fully aware of the fact that you are the only one who gets to decide what happens in your reality.

you may be asking yourself now: how do i achieve this state?

–> simply tell yourself that you are already living in the state of the wish fulfilled, and that the points i've listed above are part of your mindset.

don't overcomplicate this stuff, simply become aware of the fact that the LAW of assumption never fails and that all you need in order to manifest is already inside of you. you are literally limitless. you just need to accept it. all you need to do is decide, persist, and you have it.

The 3D Is Not Your Reality

this is probably the hardest thing to actually apply in this community because we've been conditioned our whole lives to believe what we can see and touch and measure.

so when people say ignore the 3D it sounds insane. like okay so i just pretend my bills aren't real. i just pretend my sp isn't posting someone else. i just pretend nothing is happening.

but that's not what it means.

ignoring the 3D doesn't mean you're in denial. it means you understand that what's in front of you right now is just old news. it's a printout of assumptions you've already held. it's not telling you what's coming, it's showing you what was.

so when you check your bank account and panic, or you look at your sp's instagram and spiral, you're treating old information like it's a verdict. like it's proof of what you're allowed to have.

it's not.

the moment you plant a new assumption and actually hold it, the 3D has no choice but to catch up. that's just how it works. but you can't keep planting the seed and then digging it up every five minutes to check if it's growing.

that's what looking at the 3D does. it interrupts the process every single time.

so when circumstances feel loud, remind yourself you're not ignoring reality. you're choosing which reality you're giving your attention to.

and that distinction changes everything.

The power women hold over men is biological, psychological and social simultaneously. A man’s sense of self, his motivation, his productivity, his mental stability, his willingness to build anything or protect anything or sacrifice anything is disproportionately tied to the approval and attention and desire of women. Women do not typically collapse when men withdraw attention, men historically have done genuinely catastrophic things when women did.

Women have always been described as the weaker sex and I find that genuinely funny when you actually think about it for more than thirty seconds. Men are governed by a biological drive so consuming and so constant that it has been responsible for the collapse of careers, marriages, governments and dynasties across the entirety of recorded human history. The same men who built systems to control women were simultaneously being controlled by something they could not turn off and could not reason their way out of and could not stop making catastrophic decisions because of. The reason men control women is because women inherently hold more power over them.

Women have hormonal cycles and men like to treat this as evidence of instability while conveniently ignoring their equivalent is permanent and continuous and has no off switch. The male biological imperative just keeps running in the background of every interaction, every decision, every relationship.

The hypocrisy is the part I find the funniest. The same man who will philosophize at length about female emotionality and irrationality will blow up his entire life for something he could not control for thirty minutes. Will say things about women’s behavior that his own behavior contradicts so completely you would laugh if it were not so consistent across so many men across so many centuries that it stopped being surprising sometime around the Renaissance.

You do not chase. You do not over explain yourself. You do not make yourself smaller or more available or more palatable to manage someone else’s anxiety about what you are. You simply exist fully and let the biological and psychological reality of what women represent do what it has always done

Void

A lot of you are extremely confused about this term.

Do you even know what it means?

Void = Empty.

It’s not a place you need to visit. It’s not some mystical portal. It’s pure nothingness.

You enter this state to lose all your identity—your beliefs, everything. You’re just fleeting. That’s void.

And no, it’s not something you need to lie in a starfish position and count to a hundred or whatever.

Yes, a hypnagogic state is helpful when trying to enter the void—but that’s not the only way. You enter the void by accident all the time. You know that moment when you zone out? No thoughts, no feelings, nothing, just staring into oblivion—that’s void.

It’s what you existed as before consciousness came into play. It’s the space on the computer before the title of the game or the source code existed.

Why do people say they manifested instantly after coming out of the void?

Because they reset their whole existence. Their old identity is nowhere to be found.

In the void, there are no contradictions. There are no limits. There is nothing.

You just exist, floating in the knowing that there is only you. Nothing else. No one else.

Why is the void referred to as limitless, silent, or dark?

Because that’s how our brain perceives creation—the beginning and the end.

It’s a space you deliberately create to get out of your own way.

In the void, the noise stops. Your doubts, your “what ifs,” your resistance—everything that blocks you—falls away.

It’s neutral. Empty. Waiting.

This is where your mind can finally be saturated with your instructions, your identity, your desires. Where old voices—critical, limiting, programmed from childhood—have no power.

The void doesn’t create. You do.
