INDEFINITE HIATUS.

this has been a long time coming, but this blog is going on an  INDEFINITE HIATUS.

i honestly don’t have any motivation to roleplay anymore, which really sucks because i used to love it. it used to be my favorite thing to do and it’s not anymore. i hope to be back in a few months, but who knows what will happen?

i do have skype and discord if anyone wants to stay in contact. just shoot me a message and i’ll hand it out. i’m sure i’ll pop on every now and then, but for now i just need to focus on real life and hopefully my motivation will return shortly after getting all of that sorted out.

also now’s a good time for a life update!

so obviously i haven’t been here. we all know that. so here are some reasons why.

- i haven’t had a lot of motivation to rp at all on any of my blogs. - i’m so behind on episodes that i don’t want to see anymore spoilers than i already have. - work is killing me, and in the next few weeks were going to start working 5-6 days a week. they said we’ll be working a lot of 5-6 days bc we’re so short staffed. the pay is nice, but i cri. (i normally work 4 10 hour days, so i’m gonna die) - our basement flooded with all of the rain we’ve been getting in the midwest and guess where i live! so we had to move all my shit out and now i’m moving back into my room and it’s a process. - i found a kitten a little over a week ago and am adapting to that. it’s not the first time i’ve had a cat, but since he was a stray he’s got some issues so giving him medication and making sure he’s getting enough attention and not being eaten by our dogs is a challenge. - i also just haven’t had a lot of free time. in the few instances where i do have motivation, i have to be responsible or i’m too tired bc work was extra exhausting that day. i also work third shift and i still have no idea how to work the night shift and be a functioning part of the day society.

so yeah.  

tl;dr  life’s been hectic and when it rains it pours.

i’ll try to be on more in the next few weeks or so?? it’s a plan that i have bc i don’t want to completely abandon this blog. i love the kwamis and the mlb fandom and i don’t want to leave. i just need to figure out how to do things. sooooooooo yeah~

            The genuine concern and sympathy that came from the little feline was appreciated, not only because it was something he seldom had– but because it came from a perspective close to him. While Plagg might be an annoyance a times, the boy wouldn’t doubt the fact that he was a very close friend. If not the closet, since he heard and saw a lot more of his life than most. The sentiment of his kindness, was enough to bring a smile back to his face. 

            “Thanks, Plagg… I really appreciate it. Although, I’m afraid I don’t quite share your affinity for dairy. Food might be a good idea, though. Least it’ll be a good distraction.” Picking up his phone, he thought that maybe he could order something. Of course, he’d get a scolding from his dietitian later– but that was a problem for a later time. “What do you think I should get? Something that doesn’t smell like sweaty socks, of course.” 

       “I’m partial to something that smells like sweaty socks. After all, it is almost always paired with some delicious Camembert, but since this is to make you feel better, we should get pizza!”   It obviously wasn’t his precious cheese, but he could easily stomach another delicious item. He was kind of a vacuum when it came to food anyway.

       Plagg quickly finished off his cheese before floating to rest on Adrien’s shoulder. Truthfully, he liked the closeness to his holder. Being able to touch him, as weird as it may be, was almost calming to the little kwami, and it was probably needed for both of them now anyway.

Marinette beamed at the little kwami, her enthusiasm infectious. While they of course had to be somewhat careful that someone didn’t spy Tikki through the window ( or worse, her parents come back earlier than expected ), it was nice to see her so excited. Marinette herself was eager to begin—of course, making ( and eating ) cookies was fun enough on its own, but having Tikki help out would definitely make the task a bit more enjoyable. 

“Of course! I can’t wait; this is gonna be a lot of fun!” Exactly how much Tikki would be able to help was up in the air, given her size, but Marinette had no doubts she would do her best no matter what, and the thought made her smile. While baking cookies from scratch was typically considered a bit difficult—at least they weren’t making macarons—having grown up in a bakery, Marinette could do it with her eyes closed. 

“Alright! So, first we should pre-heat the oven. Can you set it to 375, please? I’ll get all the ingredients and the bowl out, and then we can start mixing things together.”

“Of course I can!”   The kwami flew over to the oven and turned the dial, setting it at exactly 375 degrees Fahrenheit. She then flew back over to Marinette, resting on the counter next to the ingredients.   “What can I help with next?”   Tikki asked, looking at the bowl and then her holder. She knew she wasn’t going to be able to help out too much, with her being the size of some of the ingredients, but she was still going to try her hardest to help in any way she could.
