i think they're fine as her, some of the writing is just a bit not great compared to season 1 + whoever is doing makeup/hair/clothing is not doing them and most of the cast justice. especially the female cast having obvious makeup and perfect hair. not to mention most of the cast in general looking like they just grabbed new clothes off the rack.

there was a lot of photobashes and fanart around the time they announced filming season 2 and they did bella so much better than the show did. i know it wont 100% translate between a picture and tv, but they couldve done their styling so much better than they did.
