This is a late holiday gift to many. This includes people I’ve written with, people who are amazing muns, and people who are great writers that I’m recommending even if I haven’t personally gotten around to having a thread with them. I’ll keep this top part short since there’s pages of rambling and thanks to be had below not really. Anyway, here goes nothing. A huge thanks not only to the people below but everyone who I’ve interacted with and who is following. A roleplayer is nothing without other people to write with. I’m having a lot of fun currently and it’s certainly not because I’m writing with myself. Okay that’s enough sap and procrastination here goes!

The sounds were suppressed with a smile, that of which resembled timidness and a hint of gratitude. “Hah… not really. But thank you for considering me as one! Also… I think that’s a great idea. Shall we?”

She chuckles, “Thank you, I’m glad that I’m getting support from the very popular groups!” She wraps her arm around the other, “Yes, let’s go let’s go!” They start walking down the street, “If you see a shop that interests you, just pull me into there okay?”

She sighs slightly, why was this place so cold, she only had agreed to accompany the other but didn’t think it would be this cold. She takes the coat and wraps it around her body, a satisfied look slowly appears on her face and she nods, “Fine fine, but how much longer are we here til?”

“Well, don’t you think that a tie and a Pandora bracelet are on two different levels of value? You’d give your dad a cheap tie and an expensive bracelet?” Changmin raises his eyebrow at her. “Plus, ties are the kind of thing people give to a man when they don’t want to think too much on it.”

“Then what would you suggest I should get my father?” She crosses her arms at him, “Say, what would you get both your parents for Christmas?”

“You can always combine the presents with flowers! Like you can buy chocolates and roses, wine and roses, or any other flowers,” Li Hua mused, though roses always seemed to be falling into the ‘perfect present’ category. “Fine, let’s go to McDonald’s then,” she chuckled and started walking.

“That sounds like.. That sounds like what couples usually do! chocolate and roses, wine and roses! Those totally sound like what couple usually do to each other, especially a boy to a girl.” She gave the other a thumbs up, “Alright! Mcdonalds it is!”

He takes only a minute to look over everything, knowing that the other didn’t want to spend an eternity at the store waiting for him to compare brands. “I’m not sure. Possibly. Realistically I can’t because of work, but it would be nice to have a small break. Have you been very busy lately? I imagine everything is a little slower because of the holidays.”

“Oh I see.” She shakes her head before paying for her items, “Not really! Everything’s been cooled off slightly, just flying between America and Korea from time to time to attend some fashion shows or some shooting. That’s about it!”

Well, that was a lame ass question, Hyuk thought, rolling his eyes at himself. Then again, he was never that good at establishing contact. People usually had to lead him to a point in their friendship when nothing was off limits. Then, he’d be a completely different person. Less awkward. More serious, at least that’s what people said. But, generally a bit more fun than this.

Irene’s stomach started to growl and she looks down, ‘dang it, I just had a cup noodle... This is going to be torture when my manager finds out that I’m secretly eating at night again.’ She groans slightly before leaving her computer and heads over to her kitchen to make a fruit smoothie.

“Really it depends on what you want.” Minnie shrugged lightly. “BB cream is good for smoothing skin. CC cream is good for color correcting like if you had redness or something. They’re both good really.”

a low sigh slips past his lips as he clutches against his shirt, looking down as he playfully avoids her gaze, as if his pride had really been wounded. “ you should feel bad for hurting me. ” he retorts with an even more comical frown than a while ago, feigning his emotions. “ this is my man pride your messing with. ”

“Well, so far I don’t feel bad for hurting you at all.” She nods before laughing quietly, “Well, your man pride would be lowered a bit and that can be just between me and you. No one needs to know about this!”

“Wow, I didn’t think you’d be so upset over having to wait for food, I’ll remember that if we ever go to get something to eat again, or if I wanna annoy you.” A small grin formed on his lips as he took a seat near the window. “Yeah, yeah. They always do, I’m not as mean as people think.”

She huffs slightly, acting as if she was mad at the other. Using her shoulder, she shoves him gently, “That’s not fair of you! I should find out what your weak point is and use that against you sometimes too!” She followed him before sitting across from him, “I think you’re pretty nice, why would anyone think you’re mean?”

                “To be honest…that would be a really funny scene.” Joohyun snickered, a hand covering her mouth as she did so. Afterwards, she clings to the older, smiling in satisfaction as she nods. “I think that is a great idea, Irene unnie! What should we eat? I’m feeling up for some sweet and sour pork, though.”

“Okay, when we see the others, then we’ll do that okay!” She nods, “Are you saying you’re craving for like Chinese Cuisine then?” She nods slightly, “I wouldn’t mind eating fried rice!”

“I wouldn’t be so sure about that… Talented pretty models are really hard to find nowadays, believe me. You’re a diamond in a world of coals.” He smiled, secure of his own words. “You’re just on point.” He closes his eyes briefly to nod. “Now tell me. I know your styles but I’m not sure of your expectations here in Korea. Tell me everything and I’ll do my best to fit your will. Maybe… A coffee would do?”

She rolls her eyes at the other, “You weren’t attempting to flirt with me, were you?” She laughs, “That is some kind of flirting skills you got there.” Irene hums quietly, “Yes, let’s talk over coffee. Also, it’s probably time for you to make plans for me what I should be doing and such.”

🌟 – “Squad?” She repeats, a bark of laughter escapes her lips, “that’s an American thing, right? Like ehh, Squad goals.” A playful grin remains, mirth dancing in Joohyun’s eyes, “I’ll be your squad! Do we need to collect more Irene’s for that?”

“Yes, most Americans always say, ‘SQUAAAAAD’ or like ‘SQUAD GOALS!’” She chuckles at the other, “Good, then I’m assuming that I’m the squad leader! We need to collect every Irene there is! All people named after Irene shall join our squad immediately!”

He offers the customer a soft smile, shaking his head with slight disappointment at her question. “No, I’m sorry. I wish I could. The only thing I can make is like a really bad bear.” He shrugs behind a soft laugh as he punches her order into the computer. “It’s still cute though…” He mumbles,softly, shaking his head. “Can I get your name, please?”

“Well, practice makes perfect right?” She grins slightly, “I’ll take your really bad bear as an attempt!” She nods slightly, “My name is Irene Kim.”

He can’t help but let out a guilty-sounding chuckle that he attempts to conceal behind the palm of his hand, rolling his shoulders into a shrug “Is not that karaoke gets me competitive, i am just competitive in general.” There’s a sheepish smile flashing on his lips as she laughs before he gives a couple of soft nods “But i suppose i could try to just enjoy it as it is.”

“I see...” She nods slightly before pointing at a fried chicken restaurant, “Let’s go there first! Then we can maybe go do something else, like buy clothes and such!” She grins at the other, “Then at the end of all of that we’ll do a non-competitive karaoke party!”
