I’m not a psychic but I do believe we are at a crossroads. Some people practice yoga strictly for physical health. Programs like YAS, yoga and spin who’s tagline is, “No Chanting, No Granola, No Sanskrit.” have a market. But people who practice yoga solely for the purpose of trimming their thighs and getting a “yoga butt”, are undoubtedly short-changing themselves. If we look for happiness in this material world, which is temporary and constantly changing, to that same degree we become attached to that happiness, we will suffer when it is gone. So if you want cheap momentary happiness you know where to find it, otherwise, we have to turn within and connect with our Highest Self. That is real yoga. I pray that this is the future.
