“Whoa,” Samantha mumbled to herself as she exited her car. Her eyes were fixed on the gigantic full moon in the sky, she knew that it meant something but she couldn’t remember what. Forgetfulness had been happening more frequently these days. “Explains the madness.”

He had told himself to drive off, ignore what had happened and ignore the blonde he immediately recognized. However, Kyle was never one to act rationally or make good choices. He wasn’t even sure he knew what choice he was making now, all he knew was that he couldn’t drive away. “Madness is right,” the man mumbled as he stepped closer to her.

scarlettxcarmichael:

“Oh, my gosh. That looked nasty, are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” Kyle groaned, wiping some blood off his face before turning to the female who had spoken up. “What are you doing here?”

rileyhxrrington:

“Hey, I’m here—” Riley announced her arrival as she sat down on the available seat. “What’s up? Your text sounded kind of urgent.”

“Uh, thanks for coming,” Kyle breathed out, unsure of what to say next — or what to say at all. The spiked coffee in front of him was possibly the only thing that gave him the courage to speak up again. “I want to say sorry, about last time.”

evelyn-archer:

“Look, I don’t plan on staying,” Evelyn gave a small smile while holding the box of homemade chocolate chip cookies in her fingertips. “This is kind of a peace offering, I’m not very talented as we all know but my mom used to make these when I was little.” She paused, shaking her head. “Anyway, here.”

Unsure of what to make of this, Kyle didn’t move to accept the box. If anything he moved further back, half empty bottle of whiskey on hand which seemed to be the norm now. One look and anyone could’ve confused him for his father, a thought that only angered him further. “You’re baking now?” He scoffed, wanting to add more but his tongue was as tired as his heart.

“One drink won’t hurt, right?”

“One...one hundred, who cares and why does it matter? Just drink man, enough with the whining.”

nat-harrison:

“No, don’t touch them. I’ve eaten five and I plan on eating the rest. You don’t get any.”

“Don’t worry, if they taste as bad as they look I’m good.”

lxcycrawford:

“You’re staring like you haven’t seen anyone naked before.”

“I haven’t seen you naked before, that’s for sure.”

lucas--neilson:

“Yes I’m packing, no you can’t stop me.”

“Running away, doc? If so, any chance I can go with you?”

“I’m too hungover for this. What do you want?”

“For you to stop talking so fucking loud,” Kyle groaned. “Who was the idiot that said drinking solved anything?”

evelyn-archer:

“I want a divorce.” The words spat from her lips quickly and bluntly. It was wishful thinking, Kyle would never, ever let her divorce him. If she wanted out he’d have to kill her, which could very easily be her next mission if she didn’t get her way. “I want you to fucking apologise for raping me and I want you out of my life. You ruined it, Kyle. You ruined our fucking marriage. Again.”

“Fine,” he agreed furiously. It was not what he wanted, not at all. Not even since things started turning to shit at the beginning but what choice did he have now? Every minute he spent with her he was reminded of all his wrongs and no one called the darkness in him more than she did. Evelyn was supposed to be his light and she was for a long time but now he was empty, there was no more to give — she had taken it all. “I want the kids.”

caleb-harrington:

“I’m supposed to be sober or whatever.”

“Or whatever. Come on, Riley won’t be pissed cause you have one drink. Just one.”

nat-harrison:

“Not anymore, my boyfriend dicks me down every night. Maybe you should’ve done that to your wife and she wouldn’t have cheated on you.”

“Are you sure he just doesn’t do it to get you to shut up? Honestly, that’s my best bet knowing Abel.”

“I don’t know, maybe you’re fucking Brianna too.”

“And what if I am?”

rileyhxrrington:

Despite her mind telling her to, her hand didn’t recoil from his touch. She allowed his fingers to weave between hers, a gesture of trust. “Maybe if someone did have some faith in you, things wouldn’t have gotten this bad,” she said softly before chuckling softly at his last remark. “I never thought that I would want you to get better,” she admitted honestly. “A part of me liked having someone to fight with.. and about. It was nice to have a place to put my rage.” She looked down at their hands for a moment, just a small glance. “That’s probably the wrong thing to say but it’s the truth. I think you and I.. we get this need to ruin everything. Even the things that make us happy. Maybe because deep down we don’t think we deserve it.”

He hadn’t expected for her to be this supportive and open, it was definitely a side of Riley he had never experienced before and If Kyle was being completely honest he did not mind it at all. “You can still fight with me,” he spoke in nearly a whisper, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “I know I don’t deserve it, I’ve done so much bad shit I don’t deserve anything good. I tried being better and it didn’t work, just the universe telling me it’s not meant to be or whatever,” he paused, leaning in dangerously close to the point where he could feel her against his face. “But it's not like that for you, Riley. You don’t hurt people, you deserve to be happy.” There was something in him telling him to pull back and put some distance between them, but his body was not responding to his brain and he just kept inching in closer.

“No, I’m not” she said with sincerity. Perhaps she saw too much of herself in him, with all the anger insider her. Not very many people knew how hard she tried to keep it below the surface. “It’s going to be okay,” she said after their embrace ended, looking up at him. “Maybe not right now, it might not be for a little while but it’ll get there. You’ve just got to try really hard.”

“I’m sick of trying,” he admitted with a sigh, his hand reaching out for hers. “Honestly, I don’t know if it’ll get better or not. Faith isn’t a thing I’ve ever had, in anything, but thank you.” The physical contact should’ve made him comfortable but it had the opposite effect, he held her hand, gripping it tightly as if holding on for dear life. “I never thought you’d be the person making me want to get better,” he admitted with a chuckle.

“Kyle, stop—” she attempted to move away from his touch but when her back hit wall, she knew there was no where else to go. The glint in his eyes reminiscent of a place she’d been too many times and she couldn’t do that again. “Come on, it was fun back then but I don’t do that anymore. I’m not interested in being some.. piece of ass for you to use against your wife.” She attempted to keep her voice even and calm, to keep him at bay but his hands continue to wander.”

“You don’t have fun anymore?” He questioned, tilting his head to the side slightly. “I’m not using you against anyone,” Kyle insisted as a hand traveled up to her face, caressing the side of her cheek softly. “Come on, don’t make me beg Sam. I hate begging,” he groaned, closing the space between them.
