I love Rex’s face-
two precious clone boys 😚😚
Rex is my boy, but I LOVEDDD Cody when I was a kid! Aside from his gorgeous self in Revenge of the Sith, whenever I played LEGO star wars, he always had my back since I was a horrible gamer. The level where you fight Grievous with him and Obi, he was the BEST backup playing one player. Thanks for sticking around my boy, you are doing amazing sweetie! 💕💕
The Jedi in Yoda’s vision of a world at peace say so much about who he is.
I plan on extensively yelling about Yoda’s visions in the immortality arc in the future, but for now please consider this.
Okay, getting this quick remark out of the way: it’s Katooni (the little Tholothian girl) who guides Yoda there. Children are a symbol of innocence, and what’s interesting is that Yoda takes her hand without hesitation after seeing all of the Jedi dead (and specifically Mace, Petro and Ahsoka). Throughout this scene here Yoda is the one asking questions and Katooni is the one answering - she speaks slowly and patiently, almost as if she’s talking to a youngling. –> The embodiment of wisdom manifested to Yoda (in a vision meant to tempt him through his dearest wishes) is a child. Talk about humility.
Now please pay attention to the Jedi in the background.
Here, the three Jedi right in the center of the set are Mace, Ahsoka and Petro - the exact three Jedi Yoda just saw dead and cried over (boy, s6 is so much fun, isn’t it?). So a significant part of Yoda’s deepest dreams is seeing other Jedi safe. He knows how to let go - that’s what this whole scene is about - but he still very much yearns for his fellow Jedi’s safety and happiness.
Onto the even sadder part: have you noticed what’s going on here? Younglings are playing around, and the older Jedi are all talking. Quinlan with Saesee Tiin, Tera Sinube with Gungi, Anakin with Aayla Secura, and Mace with Ahsoka. And not just talking, look at the gif above! Mace is openly laughing at whatever Ahsoka said.
And Ahsoka looks at him like this. (Again, this is right after Yoda’s vision of her dying, desperately asking how the Council could expel her.)
One of Yoda’s greatest hopes is seeing Ahsoka happy with her fellow Jedi, at ease with the embodiment of authority that is Mace.
Yoda loves Mace - he’s the first person he reaches for in the vision of the devastated Temple - and he loves Ahsoka, and part of his greatest temptation? Is to see the rift between the lost child of the Order and its Head healed.
Same thing with Quinlan - the known loose cannon - and Saesee - another Council member. And Tera Sinube is an elder Jedi, talking to a youngling. And Aayla is “just” a Knight, almost a random one, and Anakin is chatting with her.
This follows a pattern: the rogue and the conventional, the very old and the very young, the common and the extraordinary - each pair shows opposites enjoying each other’s company, differences embraced.
(Anakin talking to Aayla instead of sticking to Obi-Wan’s side like he does in the real world is especially interesting - he’s part of the community here, not ostracizing himself like he tends to do. Again, for this to be part of Yoda’s great temptation says so much about how caring he is. He wants Anakin to belong, more than anything.)
And finally, we get this:
(I couldn’t make this part into a gif because of technical reasons, so enjoy the beautiful family picture.)
Once again we find that central theme of healing and wholeness. This part is what convinces Yoda to briefly let go of his (well-founded) doubts and to embrace the vision. It’s his biggest, greatest, deepest desire. The one that could have made him abandon reality itself to stay in this idyllic dream. It’s his unbroken lineage, happy, in the light.
Yoda just wanted them all to be a family. Obi-Wan clearly adores Dooku in this scene (check it out, his awestruck look is amazing), their body language is incredibly warm and open, and they are completely at ease with each other and delighted to be sharing stories. It just screams domestic life.
And that’s it, that’s all Yoda ever wanted. For the young and the old to be content together, a community bathed in light, the gardens filled with the sound of windchimes and the laughter of children. He just wanted to have his family alive and safe and smiling.
. . .
Dammit, I love this frog grandpa so much *sobs*
temuera was given a blaster and asked to fight rey (didn’t got the chance to record that) but then he asked rey for her lightsaber and it was freaking great
Commander Cody after Obi-Wan loses his lightsaber for the 167th time that month
ngl I saw this and immediately thought of this post
“He issued Order 66 and most of the Jedi died that very day. Not just full Knights either. Padwans, younglings. That was the Purge. Order 66 stil stands. Jedi are to be killed on sight. Even people who MIGHT be Jedi. People like me.” “But their boss… he was worst than any of them. And he’s still out there. The monster of monsters. Pure, true evil.” I AM SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THIS. Because this isn’t new, but it’s hitting me all over again, how brutal this genocide of an entire people was, how it’s not just the eradication of them, but true erasure of them. Luke doesn’t even know what the Purge specifically was, he knew the Jedi existed, but by this point we’ve also seen the Empire’s decades long attempts to rewrite history, that we’ve seen a ton of examples of how they make Force museums “disappear”, they kill anyone who talks about the Jedi or the Force, first they branded them traitors, then made it so you’re not even allowed to talk about them, you can’t stop and think or discuss how maybe erasing the entire people of them could have been done differently, even in Jedi: Fallen Order, just Prauf expressing the idea “I don’t believe all of them could have been traitors” is enough to cause tension and that’s only five years out from Revenge of the Sith. By this point in time, twenty years later, the full scale propaganda attack against the Jedi has erased almost everything of them, all that’s left are the handful of people who managed to hide. Both Jedi and people who could have been Jedi. This is what genocide looks like. Not just murdering the Masters and the Knights, but the children, too. Hunting down Eeth Koth, who had left the Jedi Order, who had started a biological family, who had changed religions, who swore he was done with all of it, wasn’t enough to save him. Darth Vader still murdered him for being a Jedi and stole his newborn child to take away and make into their own creation. We saw it in Rebels with the Empire trying to steal Pypey, just because the baby was Force-sensitive. This is what genocide looks like, that it’s not actually about what they did or didn’t do, it’s about being part of that group, it’s about destroying everything they built, it’s about chasing down the remnants of those people or even people who could find the remnants of the Jedi. And that last line–”The monster of monsters. Pure, true evil.” The haunting specter of evil for these people who have already suffered so much, imagine knowing that he’s out there, that he’s unstoppable, that he’s stronger than any of you, that you know nothing about him, only that he wants to and will kill you if he finds you, the sheer amount of terror that has to put into people who already have no support structure around them, who have to live in constant fear of the mundanity of people turning them in for reward money and live in constant fear of Vader or the Inquisitorius finding them. Just because they were born with the potential to be Jedi.
Because I can never yell enough about how much I love Jedi culture and its diversity and open-mindedness, here’s yet another thing that blew my mind when I first noticed it.
Barriss Offee has this in her quarters.
And she meditates to it.
Like??? This could not be more clearly an idol? The statue has three dots on her cheek and lines on her chin, both clearly reminiscent of Barriss and Luminara’s own traditional tattoos. The statue also wears a headdress and has African features. The statue is Mirialan.
Barriss meditates (prays?) to a Mirialan figurine, very possibly a Mirialan goddess. Furthermore, Barriss’ door is decorated on both sides with the same diamonds that she has on her own cheeks and hands.
(Here is the other side of the door.)
Wookieepedia says this about it:
Barriss’ quarters are super bare and unadorned (especially compared to Anakin’s room, which is filled with droids, various tools, toys and even podracing posters), and yet we see that the cultural heritage from her birth people is so important to her that she allows herself those possessions.
Again, the Mirialan symbol is painted on both sides. That’s so significant! It means she’s showing it, she’s not just keeping her religious/traditional stuff under wraps.
It’s on. the. freaking. door. For everyone to see!
And she meditates/prays to a Mirialan goddess. That means having religious beliefs outside of the Force is a thing in the Order. That’s just mind-blowing for a community of space-monks bound together by a mix of religion and genetics. They allow. multiple. faiths. within their ranks.
But yes, tell me again how they are evil child-kidnappers who brainwash their kids and strip away their identities and heritages.
Milk run!
So I’ve been playing Aggie.io with people from my discord, it’s a bit chaotic as you can see...
Hey! Quit using the alphaghetti to spell bad words!!
DON’T MIND ME, JUST OVER HERE SOBBING INTO MY PILLOW.
The Clone Wars has, and always will be, a huge part of my life. It’s lead me to new friends and pushed me to create things I never thought I could. I have drawn things I never imagined I could back when the series started. I was 15 then and if only I could see that after all that time I would be sitting at my laptop at 2am on a Monday May the 4th crying my eyes out over the final episode. And regretting absolutely nothing about it. I’m still shaking, I have no idea how I am managing to type this!
Experience, truly, outranks everything. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all of the brilliant people behind every last little detail on this show.
Tarkin to Rex: “I’m concerned that the Jedi have elected this… child… to lead the group.”
Rex: “I’m twelve.”

A list of 66 things Trooper Hardcase is no longer allowed to do in the Grand Army of the Republic
1. Perform any action preceded by the words “Hey, watch this!” 2. Address Captain Rex as “Mom,” no matter how much it makes Commander Tano laugh. 3. Ignite thermite in the toilets, even if it’s “for science.” 4. If it makes ARC Trooper Fives giggle for more than 30 seconds, Trooper Hardcase is not allowed to do it. 5. Play “Meet Your Maker” on the loudspeaker when Chancellor Palpatine arrives to inspect the troops. 6. Play “Four-Faced Lola” on the loudspeaker when Senator Orn Free Taa tours the Resolute on a goodwill visit. 7. Play any music for the arrival of any dignitary. 8. Call his rotary blaster the “missile of love.” 9. Ask Captain Rex where babies come from. 10. Ask General Skywalker where babies come from. 11. Speak to Commander Tano. At all. 12. Take newly-requisitioned LAAT/is out on unsanctioned flights to “pop their cherry.” 13. When operating any military vehicle, Trooper Hardcase may not attempt something he “saw in a holovid.” 14. The proper way to report to a commanding officer is “CT Hardcase, reporting as ordered, Sir,” not “You can’t prove a thing!” 15. Speculate on the penis size of anyone who outranks him. 16. “Nude” is not an acceptable uniform for morning formation. 17. Switch Captain Rex’s tactical blacks for an adult onesie “because he looked cold.” 18. Touch Captain Rex’s personal effects for any reason. 19. The end of the galaxy in a supermassive black hole is an acceptable time to touch Captain Rex’s personal effects. There is no other acceptable time. 20. No one is allowed to whisper any words into Sergeant Dogma’s ears for any purpose, express or otherwise, while he is sleeping. 26. “The Force told me to” is not an adequate excuse for stealing the 104th’s entire supply of toilet paper. 27. Unless he is vomiting, bleeding, unconscious, or dead, Trooper Hardcase is not permitted in the medbay. 28. Attempt waking an ARC trooper by hitting them over the head with a sack of droid shrapnel. 29. Have a sack of droid shrapnel. 30. Steal, borrow, or “sacrifice his boyish charms” to obtain, or to keep, an illicit sack of droid shrapnel. 31. Glue safety cones to helmet and claim to be Togruta. 34. Trooper Hardcase is not The Chosen One. 35. Requisition 500L of dinko mating pheromones, as it is “definitely not to douse the 212th” and therefore has no purpose aboard ship. 36. Defect to the Separatist cause. 37. Let protocol droids take command of his post. 38. “Inspect the ‘fresher” for new recruits to ensure that the temperature labels are correct, and then switch them himself. 39. Trade candy for a lightsaber. 40. Trade a lightsaber for candy. 41. Trade Jesse to the Zygerrian ambassador for candy. 42. Trade his DC-15A for any of the following: glitteryll cigs, booze, sexual favors, droidekas, buzz droids, small children, bootleg holos, or candy. 43. Obtain small children for any reason. 44. Do anything he saw General Skywalker do that one time. 45. “I thought General Skywalker would approve” does not excuse any act resulting in Republic property damage. Even if General Skywalker does approve. 46. All EVAs are to be logged in advance with ATC. The Resolute conning towers are off-limits for use as rock climbing practice. Mimicking vulture droid energy torpedoes is not an approved landing pattern. “I was bored” is not a suitable explanation for any of the above. 47. Det cord is not an acceptable substitute for paracord. 48. Cod armor is to be worn at all times with the full set of Phase II armor kit, no matter how badly “a breeze ‘round the gett’se” is needed. 49. The revolution is not now. 50. Being on “Coruscant time” is not an acceptable excuse for being late to briefings. 51. Trooper Hardcase is to limit himself to one and only one blaster-related sexual innuendo per day. 52. He is not permitted to make any lightsaber innuendos. 53. Absolutely in no way ever is Trooper Hardcase permitted to assist, manage, or clean after KP. 54. Change the wording on 104th battalion LAAT/i nose art to “Plo’s Hos.” 55. During inter-company bolo ball tournaments, a wedgie is not considered a legal tackle. 56. Trooper Hardcase is not a bounty hunter and may not tell civilians he is. 57. Blame General Skywalker’s flying when complicit in a shuttle crash. 58. Blame General Kenobi’s flying for any reason. 59. The proper response to a lawful order by the commander of the 104th is not “Woof woof, sir!” 60. Let himself get shot on purpose in order to enter medbay. 61. It is unacceptable behavior to decicred the deck officer’s door. 62. Ysalamiri do not make good battalion mascots. Anyone who persists in asking will be put on report. 63. Assist the ordnance team in the disarmament of missiles. 64. Access inflatable life rafts near the ordnance team. 65. Inform new recruits of the “proper” way to address Jedi. 66. Impersonate General Skywalker to enact the contingency orders.

Lmaooo XD
Your Cody and Wolffe rivalry is so freaking funny that I have accepted it as canon. Thank you my dude, you have blessed me.
Omg thank you (I love reading your tags btw)
Here’s an attempt at an origin story to their rivalry. Long story short, do not initiate eye contact with Cody when he’s in fight mode. And definitely don’t back out if you do so.
