Hypothetically, if I was in a fancy elevator with my crush, should I kiss him?

It really depends. I mean, is your crush taking you to a penthouse/fancy restaurant or to meet certain doom at the hands of their abuser/master/teacher? Penthouse/fancy restaurant: kiss him, but only if you feel comfortable. Certain doom: obviously, because you’re both about to fucking die.
