what to even say about this fic? this is a fic about coming to terms with your childhood. about the weight a single moment in time can have on your entire life. this is a fic about letting yourself be known, and letting yourself be taken care of. this is a story about being a child around adults who didn't love you, and then an adult around people who do. this is a story, at its core, about our beloved shen wei.

I was just talking with a friend who hates cooking which is so wild to me bc I love cooking so much it is hard for me to understand people that don't like it, but i know many exist. my parents don't like cooking either, but my grandmothers both do, so i feel like it jumped a generation for us. and then i also wonder how much of it is learned and how much not. so! poll time

#uh #I think no one taught me technically #my mom gives me recipes for some more traditional dishes sometimes #and I really love cooking #except not right now because my kitchen has absolutely no counter space at the moment #but I'm hoping to go back to cooking once I have more counter top space (soon)
