a new version of marco polo where instead of saying “marco” and “polo” the first person yells “FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST” and then after a pause the other people have to yell “FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST” back but with slightly different intonations than the first person

Final Fantasy 30 Day Challenge: Favourite Non-Canon Ship ↳ Yuffentine

Oh gosh. I feel so strongly about this that I hardly know how to put it into words. This was my first ever ship when I was only about seven years old, in 1997, when Yuffie and Vincent barely had any interaction in canon because they were both optional characters in Final Fantasy VII. I shipped them so hard because I saw so much of myself in Yuffie and I really loved Vincent Valentine, plus, I have always loved that dichotomy of the dark moody character and the ball of fun that brings them to life. Then, to my utter delight, in 2006, Dirge of Cerberus came out and focused on the two of them in a way that gratified my loyal decade of shipping. They have such a great chemistry, with Vincent’s deadpan, sardonic humour and Yuffie’s liveliness, and Vincent needs someone to inject some colour into his life, now that he is ready to start living again. If I haven’t convinced you though, seriously, do yourself a favour and go read the fic ‘Sunshine in Winter’. It’s fifteen years old now, if you can believe it, but it’s as beautifully written, poignant and wonderful as the day it was published. Whether you ship it or not, read that fic. It is everything.
