If weāre all going down I'mĀ going the way I lived, making shitty memes in the face of peril.
This is a MASTERPIECE
SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE (2018)
ALL THE FUCKING DETAILS IN THIS SHOT.
Whrn the group moves to the left, Gwen is the one who takes her eyes off him to make sure the group roubds the corner. Miles turns his head both times, but not only is he the center of the group, but his leg is one of the few things keeping Peni suspended meaning he needs to pay the most attention to the wall.
Noir and Spidey both keep their eyes completely on chair-guy on the first pass. Noir only looking away when they go back for a split second to confirm where they are going, before snapping back to the āthreatā. Spidey however, doesnt look away, which leads to his feet dangling in the air while they round the corner.
And of course Porker is a cartoon and bound to his own Roger Rabbit logic as he squeezes behind them without disturbing them.
It May seem silly to point this stuff out, but it informs so much about the individual characters, and really needs to be appreciated ot terms of great animation techniques.
This is also the best shot for showing off the different art designs ie. Noires filter over his image, the cartoon nature of Ham, and even small details in the difference between Gwen and the other two mainline spideys.
ITāS SO GOOD.
One detail I love is Peni.
Like, sheās up there too, and out of all of them sheās the one who technically doesnāt have any of the spider powers necessary to stick to the walls. So how is she staying up there?
Miles and Gwen.
Look at how theyāre both positioned: Miles keeps his right leg angled so that Peni has a sort of perch to keep her legs against, even while theyāre on the move, while her upper body is being held in place by Gwenās left hand (Gwenās entire left arm isnāt visible in the movements, compared to how we see everyone elseās arms).
Peni is being carefully held in place by Miles and Gwen, and I love that detail.
Peni also shifts her eyes to look the direction theyāre moving the second time. Just for one second, then she focus on Ganke again. Even though sheās not doing any moving herself, she too pays attention to the wall.
Also the animators of this scene pointed out they specifically shoved them all together like this to make a shape thatās akin to a spider; they even tried to make out all the limbs of the spider during this animation!

Hey Iāve seen a lot of versions of this thread but not many that add the most important part:
Also the comic Milesās roommate is reading is titled āWhat if there was more than one Spidermanā!
okay iāve just had such a perfect idea for the layout of a wedding ceremony that i drew a diagram and will now describe it
so a traditional set up for a ceremony would look like this, with the audience lined up in front of the couple, and divided in the middle to make a path for the bride to come down and be given away by her father to the groom
instead, i propose (ohhh puns) a set up more like this:
where the audience is on either side (which halves the distance that the farthest person is from the action) and at the same time you can have each half of the couple come down aisles on opposite sides and both be given away by their parents to each other (which takes away all the gross sexist and hetero-normative crap)
just⦠isnāt that way better???
Fuck you and fuck that baby too
This is my favorite post lmao.
my groupchat tried the creeper meme and it..went a little out of hand.Ā
IS THIS WHAT A STROKE FEELS LIKE???? I THINK THIS OS A STROKE??!?!!
this is it, this is the funniest tweet iāve ever seen.
Make Bread
Probably one of the biggest lies we were fed (Iām talking from the oldest spectrum of the Millenial generation here) is that making bread is an artisan thing. Special. Something you only do if you want to be fancy and have way too much time on your hands, and also rich.Ā
NOT. FRICKINā. TRUE.
When I still ate carbs, baking bread was what got me through. Also homemade pasta, but thatās another story. I discovered that not only was making bread easy, it was healthier and didnāt take nearly as much time as people had me think. It was also remarkably therapeutic to beat the unholy hell out of something on a stressful day.Ā
Super fancy breads require different flours, yeah, but you can pare it down.Ā
Here are recipes from CookingOnABoostrap.com, which turns being broke into edible art (click on the name or the website above).Ā
Nutty Seedy Half and Half Bread
Cakey Goodness Bread
5 Minute Bread
There are pages dedicated to this, so I encourage you to explore. All basically boil down to flour, yeast, oil, and water, with very few variations. Thereās sweet and savory bread for your needs.Ā
Outside of Cooking on a Boostrap (Iām a big fan), here is:
Basic Homemade Bread
Easy White BreadĀ from the BBC
Easy Peasy French Bread

If you donāt have access to a stove, know that I have made most of these in a crockpot. If you donāt have either, either ask a friend/family member to borrow theirs in exchange for an extra loafāIāve been there, and I donāt think people without food allergies would turn down a chance to see this all in action.Ā
If youāre in college and have a communal kitchen, this is a money making op for you. Sell your bread for money or favors. They all wrack up, trust me on this. I would recommend keeping an account book, no joke.Ā
Donāt have the necessary equipment for large loaves? Use regular household bowls and either combine or divide the dough portions later. You could just make rolls to make it more portable. Loaf forms not necessary. Our ancestors didnāt have pretty bread, and we donāt have to either. We just have to make something we can eat.Ā
You DONāT have to have a bread machine to do most recipes. Just your own hands. Youtube is an excellent resource.Ā
Homemade bread is an EXCELLENT gift to give when youāre broke as unholy fuck too.
Broke af?
But still interested in feeding yourself? What if I told you that thereās a person with a blog who had to feed both themselves and their young sonā¦on 10 British pounds ($15/14 Euro) per week?
Let me tell you a thing.
This individual (Jack Monroe, who has come out as nonbinary) saved my life last year. Actually saved my life. I had a piggy bank full of change and thatās it. Many people in my fandom might remember that dark time as when I had to hock my writing skills in exchange for donations. I cried a lot then.Ā
This is real talk, people: I marked down exactly what I needed to buy, totaled it, counted out that exact change, and then went to three different stores to buy what I needed so I didnāt have to dump a load of change on just one person. I was already embarrassed, but to feel people staring? Utter shame suffused me. The reasons behind that are another post all together.Ā
Cookingonabootstrap.com is run by a British person who was on benefits for years. Things got desperate. They had to find a way to feed themselves and their son using just the basics that could be found at the supermarket. But the recipes they came up with are amazing.Ā
You have to consider the differing costs of things between countries, but if you just have three ingredients in your cupboard, Jack Monroe will tell you what to do with it. Check what you already have. Chances are you have the basics of a filling meal already.Ā
Hereās their list of kitchen basics.Ā Click the bold text for links!
Bake your own bread. Itās easier than you think.Ā Hereās a list of many recipes, each using some variation of just plain flour, yeast, some oil, maybe water or lemon juice. And kneading bread is therapeutic.Ā
They have vegan recipes.Ā Including a chocolate/beetroot cake. YUM.
A carrot, a can of kidney beans, and some cumin will get you a really filling soupā¦or throw in some flour for binding and youāve got yourself a burger.Ā
Donāt have an oven or the stove isnāt available? They cover that in their Microwave Cooking section.Ā
/links
They have a book, but many recipes can be found on their blog for free. They price their recipes down to the cent, and every year they participate in a project calledĀ āLiving Below the Lineā where they have to live on 1 BP per day of food for five days.Ā
Things improved for me a little, but her website is my go to. I learned how to bake bread (using my crockpot, but that was my own twist), and I have a little cart full of things that saved me back then, just in case I need them again. Jack Monroe gives you the tools to feed yourself, for very little money, and thatās a fabulous feeling.Ā
Tip: Whenever you have a little extra money, buy a 10 dollar/pound/euro giftcard from your discount grocer. Stash it. Thatās your super emergency money. Make sure they donāt charge by the month for lack of use, though.
I donāt care if it sounds like an advertisementāyou wonāt be buying anything from the site. What I DO care about is your mental, emotional, and physical healthāand dammit, foodās right in the center of that.Ā
If you donāt need this now, pass it on to someone who does. Pass it on anyway, because do you REALLY know which of the people in your life is in need? Which follower might be staring at their own piggy bank? Trust me: someone out there needs to see this.Ā
Edit November 2016: I updated the post a long time ago to reflect Jackās gender identity, but now Iāve fixed the links too.
PASS THIS ON, PEOPLE. 250k notes means that there is a real need out there, and this could save someoneās life. Even if youāve reblogged before, do it again so that the new links are circulated.Ā
Thanks, yaāll.
