Had to just call this one done or I would keep redrawing it forever. Haven't done digital in a long time. Also Procreate doesn't always work how I want it to.

More linocut practice from a few days ago. 2x4", scrap denim.
"Nulla dies sine linea", "not a day without a line drawn"-- apparently the motto of ancient Greek artist Apelles, according to Pliny the Elder (and Wikipedia). I was just looking for something cool to print, but the phrase has really stuck with me. Remembered to flip my design this time.
First art of 2024. Linocut on scrap denim, 4x4". Based on an illustration from The Scalpel (1911, yearbook of the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania), via @internetarchive and in the public domain.
I always forget to flip things for printing but this was good practice.
