The fact that this story, written during covid, centers two characters coming out of terrifying isolation to connect with one another and work together to save each other's worlds from a plague, even though they can't breathe each other's air. Working together to combat global climate catastrophe. Reckoning with toxic masculinity by modeling another way to be. Showing world leaders coming together to solve a problem, teaching us to believe that that actually could be possible. Project Hail Mary truly is a sign of our times. I needed it more than I can express. Judging from the outpouring of love for the film that I see all around me, I think we all did, more than we know. Maybe it will be all right.

I watched the series finale of Stranger Things on the 1st of January and even though it was a disappointment because of a lot of nonsense and incoherences, I enjoyed the first part of the episode.
I really liked the scene with Max, Eleven and Kali, especially the soundtrack when they are in Henry's mind on the stage when there is a rehearsal of a musical play but I was disappointed (again) when I searched for the soundtrack during that scene on the official tracklist and it wasn't here.
That's why I made an edit with screenshots from the scene so enjoy!

Weave Weeks: Music Monday
I didn't heard about Weave Weeks until now. Even if it's past midnight and already the 5th in my timezone, I'm gonna write a few words for this first day (and it's still the 4th in some countries so I'm not that late).
I haven't read the books so I will just talk about the series. I really like the original soundtracks composed by Lorne Balfe - I'm still mad about the fact that we didn't have a second volume for season 3 because there are so many good tracks in it. I mean, the music in the season finale?! Just one of the most beautiful soundtrack ever (link below to an edit made by myself as we, the fans, have to do everything on our own)
! The title of the soundtrack is unofficial of course !
Otherwise, as my favorite character is Thom Merrilin, I have to say I love the scenes where he is playing music and / or singing ("The Great Hunt for the Horn" from S03E06 is underrated even though we didn't have a lot of time to hear it - you can also find it on my YouTube channel). "The Man Who Can't Forget" is perfect as some sort of foreshadowing and I could watch this scene all day long.
This is also true for "The Hills of Tanchico" where he is in duo with Elayne. This moment really change something in me and it's during this scene that I realized that The Wheel of Time was more than a tv series. There is not a day since the episode aired where I don't think about this scene or listen to the song. Big shout out to Nikhil Koparkar for this memorable music.

This scene is one of the reason why I love Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl so much!
I mean, the dialogue, the visual effects, the pirate vibe perfectly mixed with fantastic elements... It's just perfect!
